Worst tyre shop experience I've ever had. Badly scratched my black performance rims then told me to f-off when confronted
I recently got a nail in my tyre. I went to Jax auto tyres in Penrith on the chance they could help me. My tyre was fixed within 15 minutes. The staff member who served me was so polite and friendly. I’m very impressed.
Incorrect stud pattern.
Supplied me with two wheels and tyres took them home, incorrect stud pattern.
Rang them they said they would ring back they didn't! Hundreds of dollars and heaps of time wasted! Really annoyed!
I've been using the same Jacs tyres for 20 odd years, perfect and sound operation never had a problem.
Recently, ''new management'' I've become alarmed at the recent ''quote'' for a pink-slip.
Driveshaft boots (front). Gearbox seal. (big job apparently). Tyres old need to replace. I bought these 3 years ago from Pedders. Wiper blades. Service light lenses. (chemical clean?) I took my 20-year-old car to an independent that I have never seen before. He had it for 4 hours and passed it with no faults. If this is the kind of behaviour this franchisee is.... I think ill leave it there.
About 3 weeks ago wife had wheel alignment done to prevent incorrect tyre wear and slight pull to left. Now I find out it pulls to the left worse than before after driving it yesterday. My wife tells me thats how its been since wheel alignment, worse, but didn't want to tell me and worry me more as I had been diagnosed 3rd stage neck cancer 2 days prior to wheel alignment so was trying not to stress me and protect me. Honestly at this time cant even be bothered dealing with them to correct, just think I'll get excuses.

Rang for a booking 8:15 , was told I could bring my car straight away. Got there 15 mins later and left the car with them . They said they would call when ready;about 10:30.
I got the call at 10:15. ready to collect, brilliant. I found the staff to be friendly, courteous efficient , and the job done ;a 4 wheel alignment on a Honda for under $80 amazingly good.
Would recommend , and will definitely be a returning customer

Purchased 4 x pilot Sport 4 tyres 225 40 r18 for my 2018 Golf GTI.
Jax had the best price @ $219 per corner fitted. Also had the wheel alignment done. (Bob Jane had the PS4 tyres advertised for $217 BUT didnt expect to have stock until March)
From initial phone call and booking the car in thru to driving the car away, this was a very positive experience.
Its the first time I've seen a tyre fitter use a torque wrench on the wheel nuts, clean off the tyre soap and dress the tyres.
Jax Artarmon was clean and tidy, Jackson and co were professional and polite.
I know that Jax is a franchise so i cant vouch for any other outlet...but ill certainly return to Jax Artarmon
Best price. On time appointment. Easy to navigate website.
Required two new rear Bridgestone RE003's. Everywhere else was from $20-70 more expensive per tyre. Booked it in online for the next day to be done. Arrived 10min early. Was out the door, fully fitted, balanced and aligned 1hr 15min later! The invoice was exactly as quoted online plus the $79.00 front and rear alignment. Simple, clear, concise and efficient! Fantastic.
False claims on Best Price
Jax advertises best price on their site. I called them as I found their competitor selling the same tyre cheaper by $140 per tyre. I called the store and they said they sell for the best price and wouldnt even check or match the competitor price. I didnt even tell what the price on the competitor was. Telling you have the best price has to be backed by demonstration of it Not just telling it. Misleading customers and false advertisement.
If you value your car don’t take it to Jax Tyres Blacktown, there is no respect or pride taken for your private property what so ever vandals!!

Body buckled underneath at 4 points $$$ for repair. So bad I can’t open my sliding door. Wrong spare tyre replaced.
Predatory behaviour towards my wife & daughter
Appalling example of female exploitation by JAX Tyres Caloundra in a male dominated industry, by JAX jacking up the invoice price to my wife and daughter.

My wife and daughter requested a TOTAL price for fitting 4 new tyres to my daughter’s car from JAX Caloundra.

Mislead by staff member
Ordered four new tyres and agreed on the the tyre and cost. Went to pick up car and but it had 4 different tyres which cost less and staff member lied to me . They did ring me to say things had changed
I took my car for Major service at Jax tyres in Preston , guess what they did they did minor service but not properly the tyre symbol is still there the service message is still there they put 2 different kinds of oil in my car they put injected cleaner in the diesel car which you not suppose to put the charge me for major service they didn’t do what the log book while driving in the busy road the car just stoped the electrical parts got fried it cost me arm n a leg to fix that now Jax tyres in Preston doesn’t want to fix it or answering my calls or messages on top of that it’s making a weird noise before the service the car was perfectly fine no noise no problem now they did the service BAD
JAX Tyres - Bundaberg
I have used Jax tyres for both my cars over last several years. They know me, they know I am ex defence on a DVA pension and have to budget my money, they know I am having difficulties right now due to coronavirus. They know my wife is currently stuck overseas. They know money at moment is tight. Trusted them recently to fix car as I have no mechanical knowledge. Car was still playing up, returned it to store and told was ok. Decided to seek advice from another mechanic. Found out JAX had damaged O2 Sensor while trying to remove it. Then tack w...elded it back into place. Advice from Kia and other mechanics is it should not have been tack welded. To fix is an expensive job. Tried sorting it out with store, head office and Office of Fair Trading. Office Fair Trading stated had to use Small Claims Court they can not make Jax refund money. Even though JAX admitted in text they tack welded and apologised for not telling me still refuse a refund. When customer ask for help and are repeatedly ignored, Businesses act surprised customers are angry. Repair is going to be around $2000. I admit lost my temper in store picked up a board and asked how they would feel if I did several thousands of dollars of damage to their shop. Was not intention to threaten anyone just was trying to get point across. Their response call local police buddies and have me charged. I am out of pocket thousands of dollars yet I am one charged, tried to use government agencies for help before losing my temper. They sat there and just laughed saying nothing you can do. I know they will respond bring it in is under warranty. Would you return your car if mechanic damaged it and tried to hide it? I admit losing temper was wrong. But intentionally hiding a costly mistake what do you call that? It sucks some businesses do not care who they rip off, even if it is a veteran on a disability pension. Serviced my 2004 Subaru Outback. Knowledgeable, friendly, on time and very reasonably priced. I have used Jax at Brookvale before and will continue to use them.

Following our recent poor review of Jax Tyres Capalaba, the manager contacted us to apologise so yesterday we took our car back there to have the service. The team were efficient, courteous and performed the service in a timely manner. We will return for services in the future.

Avoid avoid avoid They sent my son out from their shop with belt separated tyres that he only bought 4 weeks prior. When his father went down and confronted the manager and the mechanic they told us 5 different stories. The first one was that the front end was all shot And wanted to charge him $1200.00 To fix it. When we produced a receipt and wheel alignment readout from them that had been done 4 weeks prior, then they changed the story to numerous other reasons. The last excuse they settled on was that my son had apparently locked up the b...rakes and created a flat spot and blaming my son for braking suddenly, impossible as the car has ABS braking. Don’t even bother calling the area manager “Ian” he just tells you more rubbish like VY commodores are inherent for creating flat spots In tyres??? What the hell! what a load of rubbish. Since they have changed hands Jax tyres Campbelltown have become crooks. So be aware. Lost our sales JAX Campbelltown. 6 cars will now be going elsewhere and will definitely not recommend Jax Tyres Campbelltown to anyone..

Jax Tyres, your online booking appointments mean absolutely nothing. The moment I arrived at your shop the worker was unaware of the online booking and even which tyres were requested for my car including the fact it came in a deal package on your website. I already paid for the tyres, plus I had an appointment set.
The worker proceeds to tell me, that I had to let them know I was coming... ( then what's the point of an online booking system with a time if they don't honour it...?). I did not catch the name of the worker, but he was a bald gu...y mid 40? He has snubbed me off multiple times. After I had to correct him of the fact, that I already had an appointment and again already paid for my tyres online. I am now told there will be a 2h wait period before my car will be worked on (online they advise that theres a max waiting time of 1 hour) I'm directed to a waiting room where more than 10 people are waiting. ( so much for social distancing..) again... what's the point of booking in an appointment? I had high expectations from Jax Tyres as the reviews on google seemed pretty decent. They have proven that they are worth less than a 1 star rating. Will never go here again!

A review on JAX Tyres StMarys, the worst company in all my years of buying family and sports tyres, I’ve been an only customer of StMarys, however after a recent visit was left appalled and upset that such an establishment can survive and I’ve settled for it so long, after being lied to twice by StMarys I was told the truth by Penrith and Narellen that I finished up very disgruntled and annoyed out at Narellen, an hour each way and twice, where they ordered the tyres eventually, I was told that weren’t available by StMarys mind you, a set of f...our SUV continental tyres, I’ve been a customer of not only JAX Tyres but StMarys for as long as 30 plus years, they have lost me not as a customer but I will also tell family, friends, and foe, what a terrible disgusting place and salespeople are, after being in retail management for just as long I know that for every good job, you get two, but for every bad job or effort, you get 10x bad reports and less sales and customers, I will makes sure I tell everyone of my latest experience then times this by 10!!! That’s a lot of customers and sales missed, no I don’t work for another company or similar industry, I’m a serious customer and can be contacted anytime

Big shout out to Ben, Jim and the team at JAX, Brookvale NSW.
I went in to get a pink slip for Rego and my car needed new tyres. Ben took the time to understand what I do with the car and what its future use would be. From there we were able to find the right set of tyres to meet my driving requirements and importantly my budget. Whilst discussing this, Jim overheard my plans to sell the car and took the time to research the 'Red Book' website to give me a price guide of what I should be looking at when it comes to putting a price on it. Ben ...also noticed a scratch on the door and told me that if I was planning on selling it there was both a excellent panel beater and detailer in the area that he knew did great work. He even called them to give me a introduction. Talk about going above and beyond!! Whilst this was going on the team outside had also very quickly turned my car around with 4 new tyres, fitted balanced and aligned within 30 minutes. I have also found out that they service cars... I will be back!! Thanks JAX Brookvale!
