Terrible manufacture problems on pick up
We have just picked up our new Jayco Journey in Perth, we felt our handover was hurried and many things we did not look at and check till we got home. Surely one expects a new caravan to be all checked before delivery but no obviously not. So disappointing to find things like the shelving for your jars etc is swinging in the breeze at the bottom has not been attached properly, TV lock for when travelling does not fit on appropriate part of the arm to keep TV in lock as to not move when travelling , beading to TV cabinet half off, under the frid...ge beading bubbling. when I telephoned to complain about these things, I was told, don't worry it is all covered by warranty for 12 months, so just keep a list of things and go off on your holiday, Hello do you not understand one does not want to pay $45000 for a new caravan, and all these things should have been checked before delivery to us I told the salesman. Especially when we are 100kls from Jayco but the thing is it is a disgrace to pick up a new van that has so much manufacturing faults.
