Never buy online , hassle of verification!!
Will never buy anything online from JB hi-fi. The hassles of having them ringing you up to verify payment even though the payment already been deducted from PayPal account. Too many unnecessary questions to verify email even though I gave them all the emails link to my PayPal account, including my phone number etc...
To go through all that hoops and loops just buying a PS4 subscription voucher! Never again!!
The dvd I received looked like a secondhand item. The blister packaging was missing the DVD box was scratched and dented. It was clear this wasn’t from the delivery as it was bubble wrapped. When emailing to get this item swapped the store manager was unhelpful and said I had to go into a store to swap the item and locate another replacement in a store to get redirected to a local one. I went to my local store who were unable to get a replacement in on time but were able to put one on hold at another store. I had to drive 30 min to another stor...e to swap the item. Both these stores asked a lot of questions as they thought I was trying to return a used product. So overall I had to pay for delivery of an “used” item and I then had to make 2 trips wasting 3 hours overall getting the item replaced. I ended up having to do the very thing I was trying to avoid before Christmas. I would never recommend online purchasing From JB hifi And there isn’t anyway of contacting anyone to deal with the complaint either.
Good but could have been better
I bought a keyboard and a apple pencil and price matched it to Apple student prices because it was an apple product where they said they can't do any better so you might as well go to Apple and be given the extra care when you shop. Staff were able to guide me around the store. The person who served me at the counter forgot to give me change and simply offered me a receipt. I went back as soon as I realised which is 8 mins after purchase and I told her the issue. She was friendly and called manager straight away. I have no issues with her and ...think she did her job well. I do feel, as a customer I should be more wary of my money. Anwyays Manager then comes through looking angry and asks what's the problem where I go onto describing. He then tells me there's no way to prove that and was going for resume with his tasks but I had to step up ask him why he can't check cameras because I've worked at a JB hi Fi store and know that my previous manager would have. Anyways he then proceed to check the cameras and I receive my change. I wish he could have offered to without me having to ask him to and customers come for a pleasant shopping experience but having forgotten my change made me hesitant and he could have relieved that straight away instead of letting me panic and find ways to prove that I really forgot the change.this is just something, so we can all work to improve in the retail environment. Also case I purchased for iPad is dusty.
Appalling delivery service
I have just had the most appalling experience with Toll Couriers ( the delivery service that JB Hifi use). Been stuffed around for days by them and still havent received my TV set. JB, you need to use another method of delivery because I certainly will not be recommending you to anyone while you continue to use this most appalling company.
Don't depend on delivery. Go in and pick it up instead

They say my TV has been delivered but I never got it
I bought a TV from the on line store. Paid full amount including $59 delivery fee on my credit card. I received a text on Saturday to say my TV would arrive between 1.30pm and 4.30pm Sunday. No TV arrives but JB Hi Fi website says fulfilled!! I ring warehouse who say they can't contact driver or courier company so there is nothing they can do. Next thing I get s text with a link to a tracking system that says the driver is 8 minutes away. I can see the driver has taken a wrong turn and is heading away from me. I try to ring the driver to ...give him directions to my place. After several unanswered calls the courier hits a button and the tracking system says that my TV has been delivered and invites me to fill out a survey. Current status is I am out of pocket over $3,000, I waited for 6 hours on Sunday, I have no TV and JB Hi Fi say they delivered it. I don't know what to do next.

Ordered a product as a present before christmas. Paid for express delivery for it to be delivered within 2 days.
Two days after it was supposed to be delivered I emailed them (they don't have a number you can call, probably because they know they would be inundated with complaints), they claimed it had been dispatched and i would be able to track it within 48 hours. Check with the tracking company, no record of consignment number.
Wait another 2 days just to give them the benefit of the doubt. Still nothing so i send a follow up email. Jb say...

I have preordered a Samsung Note 10 Plus with JBHifi and was delivered quickly. They always have some tempting promotions like the one i got with the phone was an AKG noice cancelling bluetooth headphone.

Delivery is a joke!
If you can avoid having to have things delivered I would highly recommend to NOT DO IT!
Ordered a tv 2 weeks ago in store for BF sales - was supposed to be delivered the following thursday - we changed address to a work address and then all hell broke loose! Got called the thursday morning and I confirmed the address, got told it would be with the correct driver to be delivered. Didn't come, called the store, went on a wild goose chase. Told it would be delivered the friday. Still didn't show up. Yesterday still nothing - called the store - it ...
Still waiting for refund!
Purchased a PS4 via the online store to pick up from my local store. I had a change of mind and decided to get a new Blueray player instead. Went in-store and purchased a Blueray player and was told would get refunded the the remaining money by the online store in 3 to 5 days. It has now been a month and still no refund and seems there is no way to get in contact with online store. Very disappointing.
I ordered 6 items from JB Hi-Fi online for Christmas. Last night I get an email saying 1 item has been deleted as it is no longer being supplied (even though the order was confirmed and money taken for it) and today I get an email saying 1 item is delayed and 'they will let me know later when it is available'. No ETA, nothing..

great delivery and service
I purchased a few dvd movies,one was super faulty,tried to explain to JB and said they would look into it,or another department,,then a few days later unexpected a new dvd,delivered to my door,great service ,,but nice to communicate and know what's happening,I will buy products from JB again now,thanks again,only wanted a movie which worked correctly and paid for in advance,
$59 to deliver a TV, they cancel on the day of delivery and do not reschedule, they do not call they do not answer!
Ordered a $2200 TV with $59 delivery and 3 days after they still havent called to schedule delivery, contacted them on the website and the next day they are responded that they are busy. Day 4 i finally recieve a call and they schedule a delivery date. On the day of delivery recieved SMS at 8:49am stating they are 19mins away and then recieve 1 min later a SMS they cant deliver and the Transport Provider will call me by close of Business. They did not call, sent 2 contacts on the website and still no response. Contacted the tracking company...and the only provide the app. There is a tracking link and it just says delivery failed. I now ask myself why buy ever from JB HIFI again for anything that needs delivery. They don't derseve the business. Still dont have the TV!!
Click and Collect is a joke!
For click and collect, You will need to queue up with the rest of their customers at the cashiers! When the store is busy, you are stuck. Something that should be fast and easy can be tasking
Video Killed the Radio Star
-Made a $400 transaction for black Friday for low stock product
- 4 hours later received an email saying my order had been cancelled due to 'Verification'
- No customer service phone number to call for escalations
- called store and they also said no phone number just email them
- Emailed them and they responded that the system did not like my email, my account may have been debited but the funds may soon be returned
- I asked if someone could ring and take the transaction manually since their system was at fault and it was low stock
