I purchased from JB Hi Eastland 27/11/19 First screen failed approx 3 month second screen cracks appeared approx 7 months later . JB said microsoft would only considered laptop had been dropped wanted $1000 dollars to repair . Held off on repairing decised to take JB Chirnside Park very quick to palm off to Microsoft after discussions and showing Eastland repair docket
Manager reluctantly created new repair docket.
This Laptop has been a lemon from the start and the service from JB both at Eastland and Chirnside has been poor .All care and no responsibility!!!! Do not buy this laptop and question return policies on all purchases from JB HI.
BAD and rude
Look it was like talking to someone from the Trade stores in the 1960's. The attitude to the customer was "your and idiot and I grudgingly help you "
This older guy at the section at JB HiFi Miranda where they sell connections and cable was exactly like this! I described I thought very clearly what I wanted>I had an iPad and now bought an Samsung Tablet. I need to transfer the apps etc from the iPad to Samsung and the Samsun Tablet told me it need an adaptor. He proceeded to be rude and unhelpful. Didn't know what I was talking about!!. I left ...
Bought a tv with extended warranty. They came to pick it up, 6-7 weeks ago. No one answering about where it is or what is happening. Been on hold 2 days in a row for 2 hours.
Worst after sale service !
Jbhifi marsden park very disgusting after sales service returned my beats headphones without repair, they were under warranty!!!!
There service is so swift that they returned the heads with repairs AFTER 4 MONTHS!!!!
Rude, Intimidating, lying store manager at Springvale VIC
Went to JB in Springvale VIC for a return. First response I got was no return, then the staff passed the item to the next window without saying anything to me and started serving the person behind me. Then Store manager was rude and annoyed for having to process the return and made excuses of it having been outside of warranty even though it was due to lockdown/temporary closure of stores. Had to show all sorts of proof incl previous email communication confirming acceptance of return once restrictions are lifted. Store manager Brett insisted o...n no fault and refuse a return or refund. Brett keeps saying 'im trying to help you here" while doing the opposite, ie refuse to listen and address my concern appropriately. I felt helpless, intimidated and humiliated and I started crying in the store while 3 other staff members briefly gathered to look on!! Brett was diabolic.
I purchased from JB HI FI Burleigh Heads QLD a Samsung TV and a Sonos Arc Sound bar which were installed (FRI) 6 days ago. Had sound issues with the Sonos, Fargo from JB HI FI had the installer's back on TUE, appeared to fix the issue, same problem again on WED. No issues Farbo arranged for a brand new replacement sound bar and this was installed THU. Working. You can't buy service like this. Well done JB HI FI, Bill M
EXTENDED WARRANTY SURPRISE
Bought a $2250 HP laptop for my daughter for Christmas 2017. If failed in November 2020 so we did a claim under the extended [3year] warranty we added to the purchase. After a few weeks of sending it off [at their cost] and getting it assessed, they sent a purchase order for a new $2250 HP replacement [much higher spec], arranged to pick it up at the nearest JB, all done

Ordered a dash camera on Black Friday sale, the camera doesn't work. I was sent to a store to exchange it. Came to Supa Centre store, stuff told me that they don't have internet, and they couldn't help me and they call me back when it is fixed. Nobody called in 2 days. As a result an hour spent for nothing. On Saturday called to Parramatta Westfield store, they told me they have 3 cameras in stock and promised me to hold one for me. 1 hour driving to Parramatta, 1 hour in store, 1 hour back. The camera was not exchanged, cause no cameras were i...n stock. The sales manager didn't even check stock when I called. Now have to wait 4 business day to receive money back, before I can go to other store and buy a new camera. What an amazing Christmas shopping experience!
Wonderful service and helpful staff
I had a wonderful experience from JB Hi-fi, the Parramatta branch. They helped me with an exchange of a product I wasn't happy with. Zion and the other salespeople were super helpful. I would definitely recommend getting your electronics and sundries from JB hifi
Store credit provided for not fit for purpose return
Today I returned out of warranty waterproof Bluetooth & MP3 earplugs to Mt Ommaney store (Brisbane) as they did not work while swimming as advertised. They were purchased in Adelaide and given as a gift. I have only recently started swimming again and had not previously used in the pool hence did not realize they were not fit for purpose.
I was given a store credit for which I am very appreciative. Great service!

Would like to give a 5 star rating to Adam at JB HiFi Plenty Valley for providing fantastic customer service in relation to a faulty new tv. He went above and beyond in sorting out my problem!
I wouldn’t recommend purchasing any tv from this store or anything from this store as they do not comply with the laws of practise, or follow there warranty contract, and make up loop holes so they do not have to replace the tv. It’s taken 2 months for a repair and it still hasn’t been repaired and in consumer laws I’m entitled to a refund or replacement and they refuse to do both and tell you to contact the regional head office.

A week ago I went into JB HiFi Preston (Vic) and asked the cashier for a drone knowledgeable staff member. A young man appeared and I explained I knew nothing about drones but I wanted to buy a drone and what I wanted to do with the drone. He recommended a particular model which I purchased. After a full week of reading downloaded instructions and following those instructions to the letter the drone refused to connect to the controller. I persevered with trouble shooting advice and Google help links. Still no joy. What I did discover was that t...he particular model had a history of problems (mostly the inability to "connect") I realised that the drone had a problem that was beyond my ability to fix. It was therefore unfit for purpose. I returned it to the store and asked the salesperson (and his manager) to either make the drone work or give a refund if it could not be made to work. Both men told be they (JB HiFi) don't "fix' things and that I would have to take-up the problem with the manufacturer (in China) I left the drone, my business card and asked for a result that complied with JB HiFi's obligations under Australian law. The manager indicated that he would do nothing.

Warranty issues , Unqualified staff
faulty TV with 3 years warranty . Very hard to fallow up with the Staff at JB HI FI Liverpool included the Store manger and The JB HI FI area manger . No one to take responsibility. better shop for your NEW TV or other Stuff on Line . appliance on Line or Power land . better price with free delivery.
Never ever shop at JB HI FI Liverpool or anywhere . I will not recommend it to friends and families
Amazing customer service!
I bought Jabra earbuds for 329 dollars from them. Three months after the purchase - the right earbud started playing out. I contacted JB in Prahran (Melbourne).
Due to the pandemic, they were closed. But fear not, they had a streamline online process that enabled me to fill a fault report. On the same day of submitting the online form, a store representative from JB contacted me. The following day a carrier came to pick up the faulty product.

Terrible service, Misleading information and money hungry.
I brought a product from the Wollongong store online the watch took all day to set up and even then the SIM card would not work properly I spent over 40 on the SIM card and the watch itself cost 200 dollars. When I took it back I got snide comments from the manager that worked there, when I told them I wanted a refund in cash they told me it would have to be done online and it would be there within a few days , I waited over three weeks and they are still saying that it isn't there fault and don't shop here they sell you faulty items and when you ask for your money back they make every excuse to not give you your money back and make you feel like crap for trying.
Post sale no help
I had an issue with my Lenovo tablet when I purchased it jb told me there's a 12month warranty it stopped working 4 months later I called them I had the receipt they told me they would have to send it away without immediately replacing it I asked what they expected me to do without a device they told me they sell them for $98 buy a new one. That's not the point they shouldn't mislead people about warranties

Pricing is miles of online retailers anyway, but purchased locally for things like warranty which is worthless anyway. don't let anyone convince you there is any reason to shop here
