Purchased a brand new pair of Beats headphones and the overall experience was fantastic. Plenty of help in store and a smooth process from the moment I walked in. Can't beat JB Hi-Fi.
Horrible customer service and rude employees
Bought an external hard drive from JB. All files lost within 3 months, so i went to return it. The buying of the product was a horrible experience as the man who served me was condescending, rude and unhelpful when i asked him questions about the hard drive i wanted to purchase. He kept giving me short annoyed answers as if i should know all answers already instead of being helpful. Returning the product took over an hour, something which should have taken 5 minutes. Employee was rude and also condescending and unhelpful. Kept calling over diff...erent people and telling me i need to talk to "Jordan" (not helpful). Finally received my hard drive refund after no communication and did not receive what i wanted as they ignored me the whole time and didn't listen to me. Their horrible customer service and work skills are a breeding ground for unpleasant experiences such as mine. I will not be going back.
Especially in Hurstville, staff are kind of disconnected with the customer, we need to chase them to find something, even while you pay them at counter they have no eye contact, they chat with friends ignoring customers.. shameful for practising such a workplace culture...

Absolutely disgusting service at the CHIRNSIDE PARK STORE by the "female Manager" absolutely rude, condescending "massive massive chip on her shoulder" basically stated its my problem that my FITBIT isn't working (battery needs recharging every 2 days) and ITS NOT HER problem that they no longer make the FITBIT VERSA 1 and even though its still under warranty AND i have an extra extended warranty NOT HER ISSUE (i either take whats offered or nothing!!!).. i either pay for the upgrade or take a STORE CREDIT... Thats it nothing else , on the way...out i spoke to a lovely young bloke who stated "WOW thats not how we usually treat our customers" he actually stated to come back another day and speak to a different manager , that was even before i spoke to the one today .... says a hell of a lot really......i should of taken his advice, then when i send a complaint email about her SHE REPLIES!!!!!!! So thankful that i didn't buy the Dryer and New Camera we were looking at before this happened....
I again purchased a 4 port USB hub.
I found the item and noticed that there was a huge price difference from $30 plus to well over a &100 plus.
I made the terrible decision to ask the young guy with a pony tail does this item I purchased fit all USB's as the price difference was so large. He replied "I don't understand your question?"
I said well why is there such a big price difference,,,,,his reply "They are C's" (unsaid you idiot!and delivered in that way too) I am afraid I have NO IDEA what a C is? The whole conversation was condescendi...
Excellent Customer Service
I would like to compliment a lovely young man who exceeded our expectations of wonderful customer service
First i went to Telstra to buy a phone & was told it would be quite a significant wait time & to book a date next week sometime to do this
I then went to JB HI Fi at Miranda and was pleasantly greeted by a lovely young man ‘ Lauchlan ‘
He assisted me to buy a phone and was able to access my telstra account and advise on best data costs that would assist me with my new phone

I took my daughter's 9 month old Hewlett Packard computer in to be assessed for a major fault in the Graphics adaptor and asked for a refund or replacement which was refused. They said that there was only a 3 month refund period which they did not inform us about when we bought the laptop. They said that it would take three weeks for it to be returned but my daughter was in the middle of assignments so 3 weeks was too long. They did not offer any other options, in fact they were very rude in their behaviour.

No Refund No Returns No Exchange
My dad 70 years old with dementia was sold a $600 dollar mobile phone. He came over for Good Friday lunch and showed my family what he had purchased. Yes it was opened but unused. We asked why did he buy it. He had no idea. So as it’s JBHIFI and not some small shop in a alley. They probably would have had more compassion. We told him to take it back and get a refund. So today ( he had it for three days). He took it back but they refused to take it back. They said he signed some paperwork which wasn’t even explained to him. He is from a European...background. He had no idea what he was doing or signing but JBHIFI staff took advantage of that for their sale of the day. I contacted the store and spoke to the manager who told me he would contact me which obviously that did not happen. Absolutely a case that JBHIFI would lose in a court of law. Taking advantage of a elderly man with dementia. Parramatta JBHIFI it is against the law! If the person does not understand you do not continue to take advantage of them just for a sale. You can always send the product back and get it re sealed. It is a box and it was opened for a brief Moment unused. That is the only excuse not to return?!
Would not give warranty
Paid for a $240 Fitbit that they said I would have warranty on, 6 months later Fitbit not working and took it to Toowoomba store and was told not their responsibility. Don’t trust JB Hi Fi or Fitbit
Disability Discimination. Sold Laptop staff knew would overheat. Taken advantage of staff knew HP would not replace!
Purchased HP Laptop (Camera Tripod ect) for Photography course. Made possible by NDIS and Oxygen Collage. Ripped off by jbhifi
rude customer service
Absolutely rude customer service over the phone from the Bundall store phoned up asking about ps5 stock got treated like dirt for asking she didn't even attempt to look anything up

Rubbish TV and Rubbish warranty by JB HI -Fi
Don't buy anything from this JB HI -FI plenty valley, i bought a T V from there and it was faulty the picture would stop and the sound goes on then turns by itself off. I made a complaint to the JB HI FI store and they told that some one will call but i never heard back, i went to the store and made the complaint they said they will contact but they never did. I had to go o the consumer affairs to get my refund for the new TV.
Don't buy any thing from JB HIFI plenty valley their customer service is rubbish

Bought headset from JB Hifi Watergardens .
The quality is terrible so I returned it.
Got told JB HIFI does not accept returns on headsets no matter what.
Dont buy from JB HIFI ever.
Good guys are much more customer friendly.

I have been to JB Hi Fi to purchase electronics items since many years, especially there Marion store in Adelaide SA. It's always good service from JB. But I am writing especially this review to appreciate the service provided by sales executive Cayleigh when I purchased iphone 12 pro. She was amazing, genuine in her efforts and service. She seems relatively new to her job but I think she has done fantastic job to work out special Telstra offer to me. I highly recommend Cayleigh for her work...Thanks.
Great customer service
A big shout out to Jarrud from Maroochydore JB Hi-Fi store for the great service he gave me. JB's my go to store and it proved again to be the right choice.
Bought a laptop that turned out to be a dud. But its when things go wrong that you measure the worth of the store and the people working in it.
Jarrud Couldn't be more helpful, replaced it with an upgraded computer at a fantastic price as they didn't have a similar replacement in stock. He even rang a few days later to check how it was all going. Thanks Jarrud
