Went to JB HIFI Noarlunga store today to purchase a Microsoft Laptop. I waited for 30 mins and asked two staff members for service. They said they were busy with other customers and would be with me soon. After waiting foe 30 mins I saw one of the staff members who said they would be back to help me, leaning against a table talking to another staff member, I watched for 5 mins as they ignored every customer and just kept chatting. I had enough and left in disgust. This is not the first time I have not been able to get service at this particular store.

Samsung buds and Jbhifu Melbourne central warranty
The left side of the earbuds dies in less than an hour while the right side is 90%. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. Went to Melbourne central (12 June 2021) to get it replaced and The store manager declined to replace it under ACL and wanted to buy another one.
As a consumer, it is my right to ask it to be escalated further the manager straight away declined and said to get lost. Reported this issue to Consumer affairs victoria.
Absolutely astonished by an elderly lady with a faulty tv through JB HIFI Chadstone to be fixed
Spoke with a Lukas yesterday who professes to be a "manager" at the Chadstone store. I explained that my mother who is 80years of age bought a Sony Bravia last year which has become faulty and needs returning.
He explained that they can't send out someone out to her home because the tv is no "big enough" and so therefore will have to bring it in and can take 2-4 weeks
I explained that my mother is elderly with a lung condition and lives on her own (and must stay indoors given her condition) and that she will be without a TV for such a long time...
Staff was unvilling to assist or just basically rude at stafford store
Was only wanting by DVD movie dint get served and when found a female.assistant all she said the move is over there and dint even help and counties talk to her work colleagues and ignorance at staffors store will never go there again and I'm over 20 year loyal customer spent $$$$ over that period worst store ever at stafford should re train staff or replace some of them
Lost a Customer
Purchased Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G online. Went to pick it up at Werribee Plaza store. As I no longer drive due to getting Epilepsy, I have to walk and asked them if they could place it in my trolley and I will stand 2 metres away and mask was on. They refused. Couldn't believe it. Said Manager's policy and had strict rules. No where on their website does it say pick up only by car. What about those that don't drive and don't want to pay the delivery fee. Will never step into any JB HiFi store again. How can they explain people being in supermarkets. Had no problem with this arrangement at another large chain store.
Terrible service, consistently understaffed
For a store you spend thousands in per annum on iPhones, iPads, security alarms, audio products and everything in between its the worst service on the Sunshine Coast. Despise going there and losing an hour out of my day each time waiting for service initially and then again lining up to pay.

I shopped at JB HiFi in North Sydney this week and was very disappointed with the service. The young man could not have been less interested if he tried. This is sad because I did need help and guidance with my $200 purchase. I won't be back.
why is it that jbhi frequently treat ipswich as a second rate store example today went in to get the new apple tv 64 gb but only to find that ipswich store doesn't get the 64 gb one but Brisbane stores do . I will know in future to just go online to apple and buy products which means jb will miss out
Bundall Gold Coast ~ don’t go if you want service
We manage an apartment complex and have bought many items from the Upton Street,Bundall, Gold Coast store, for business and personal use over the last 10+ years. The service used to be great when they had a South African manager. Since he left, the service has been terrible. You can walk into that store at 9am on a Tuesday and the staff, must be trained to avoid eye contact! Seriously, they are either climbing up ladders, looking at computers or just pretending to be busy. No one gives a damn about providing service at this store. They need a ...lesson from the staff at Harvey Norman, Bundall. Harvey Norman’s staff seek out customers. JB-hifi’s staff at Bundall practise making themselves invisible! A word of advice JB HIFi Bundall- no one is infallible. Stop treating your customers as if they’re imposing on you. Hire staff that WANT to work. Hire a manager that is able to MANAGE! Jackson is a joke!
Absolutely terrible service overall.
It took 8 days to be approved for a product his NDIS, to be told by JB hi Fi Morayfield that I could collect. So travelling 10km the the store from home with the verification email I was sent in order to collect items, I was then Told by 2 separate staff that my item was not ready for collection (even though email stated it was) and was asked to return once I receive the receipt via text message. I then continue to travel back home another 10km and I received the text later that day. I called before heading to Morayfield again to ensure it w...ouldn't be a waste of time only to be told the item was missing. They had no idea where it was. They had ordered a new product from another job hi Fi store and said they wld contact me as soon as it arrives. This was not good enough considering they knew that due to the fact I was hearing impaired, I needed this item to communicate within my job description with other staff members at various locations when completing my job role. I had my interpreter contact the store to stress my concerns and after much discussion, it was told to me I could collect the item from another location ( at my request) in North lakes. I arrive at North lakes jb hi fi late in the afternoon and the staff said that although the item was waiting for me, (Morayfield had obviously been in contact with North lakes) the paper work was not complete. I was so frustrated as I had travelled so far and stressed this to the staff at North lakes. They were absolutely amazing and were able to assist me with completing my order so U was able to finally take my item home ready for work tomorrow. Very disappointed in Morayfield in jb hi fi.
Support ticket has been open for a week and no contact
I bought a new iPhase from JB HiFi Pacific Fair in February. In May, the "Home" button stopped working. Since I live interstate (in Sydney) I can't visit the store I bought this phone from.
I submitted a request to get this repaired last Sunday - and their automatic reply came quickly. However, there has been no other contact since.
JB HiFi wants your business, but doesn't put any effort into post-sales support.
Store manager in bankstown store
I purchased an expensive vaccuum that costed me almost a thousand dollars, the Samsung wireless. Not even three months after the purchase, the vaccuum had stopped working completely to the point where I had no choice but to pass my product to jb hi fi. Fortunately, they took in the vaccuum for repairing and told me they would fix it. On the 3rd of May, I received notice from jb hi fi that my vaccuum had been fully equipped and repaired and I will receive it within 1-3 business days. In these 26 days of my family bearing without a vaccuum, it is...the 15th of May as of today and I have not received my vaccuum nor have I been given the opportunity to at least be notified of the status of my own product. I have visited jb hi fi four times and each time I have to stand with the workers and the store manager only to find out this issue is ' out of their hands' and they cannot do anything to solve the situation. Recently I have called the store once again, after patiently waiting for an hour, I was told the same thing that they cannot do anything about it. The main reason this issue is lengthened is due to the fact that I was not granted the allowance to receive the same product. After mentioning that as the store manager they must be able to have access and hold of situations, the manager only tried to continuously get me off of the phone by attempting to reassure me with the outcome of me eventually being able to receive my product. The store manager of bankstown buckled when i told him he can't keep saying that his hands are tied and many times when I mentioned that I would raise this issue higher and involve the rights of fair trading, he refused many times to give me his name and rather treated me as a nuisance. This negligence of customer follow up and care is very poor and disappointing and therefore I request for this issue to be raised to a higher level.
Worst place to shop JB Hi fi Blacktown no customer service at all. End up going to officeworks and got the product cheaper then what JB Hi fi had.

Not happy Jan
Bought a surround sound system off them (Sony), was completely unsatisfied with the products sound. I took it back and explained actual faults with the item and was then bombard with crap about it being my TVs fault even though the faults I mentioned were wide spread online, and my expectations were pretty much ridiculous for a $430 (normally $599) product. Have spent over 5 grand at this shop over the years. Never again. Will happily take your cash but don’t wanna hear the problems.
