Refusal by JB Hi-Fi to satisfy a customer (for a teenage son) with an issue with a gift card
RE: Refusal by JB HI-Fi support to escalate my concerns to management who then provided false / misleading information instead of resolving a minor issue of $25.00 by allowing it to become totally disgraceful.

Zero stars for the service received from the woman with the orange hair at JB Hi-Fi North Lakes. If the manufacturer says I'm entitled to a refund then I don't need your attitude! I won't be shopping here again.
Don't Buy Apple Product Through Jb Hi Fi
Bought Apple MacBook Air 13 From JB Hi FI for my daughter and when we turned it on, the display screen was glitching and when we went to the store to return it back after one week. They checked the device and agreed that there was some problem but refused to change it and refund the money. They said, they have to do the assessment through apple and it will take at least a week or more. After that they will decide what to do. According to Aus Law if you buy product and it is not as per description we can ask supplier for change or refund. But...JB hi Fi refuse to do that and after this called apple store and they said that if I have bought directly from them, they can issue the refund because it's through JB HI FI, they are unable to do this so Apple return policy is not same or valid if you buy product through JB HI FI. Due to this issue my daughter is suffering because she just started high school and does not have any device and our time wastage does not count anywhere. So please don't buy any apple product through JB HI FI.

I previously bought a Samsung phone at JB Glen Waverley, now need to update. Obviously, I will need to transfer data and sim card from old to new phone. Will JB Hi Fi assist with that when I buy new phone? NO. Why not?
Because their wifi is "too slow".
How is that relevant if you do the better cable transfer?

JB o...ffer to handball you elsewhere (commission?): For $$$$$$ an unknown person will go into your home (No stranger casing my home/risking my health, thanks very much) to do what could be a simple, plug in transfer, in-store. TIP: Officeworks have the same unlocked phone, $50 cheaper! Staff are consistently terrific and helpful, unlike JB Hifi. TIP: Go to Aus Post for an economical unlocked phone, and they assist with transfer of data from your old phone to new.
Called a store asking for a particular product. I was put on hold and eventually had to call back, at which point I was told that they had just been put on hold for another customer. Only later did I realize that they must have gotten confused, picked up the wrong phone call, and mistaken the customer for me. They most probably just said, "I found what you were looking for," and the customer thought they were talking about a different product. When I called back, I was told they had been on hold for days waiting for someone to collect them. I a...sked what name they had been put under, but he didn't know. When I explained the situation, the rude sales assistant said, "I am sure they didn't think that two different people wanted the exact same product!" I was then told that I had a very short deadline to collect them. This exact same store has also refused me entry before close of business. I know that it wasn't 5pm yet as I heard the clocktower chiming as I walked away!
I paid for a TV with the Black Friday sales and was told that they did not have stock in store but I would receive it before Christmas. I phoned after Christmas and was told that I just missed out and would receive tv on 12.01.21. I phoned them after that date and was told that they still had no stock. I am still waiting despite contacting the national service line who referred me back to store that I had issues with!!!
Never buying fromJB Again
Zero stars. But five brickbats. Worst service anywhere. Don’t know how this company stays in business. Appalling service every time I go there. Got put on hold three times today on the one query. Wasted 30 minutes of my time before I hung up. Incapable of doing even the most basic things. No knowledge about their products. Gruff and disinterested service even when you wait 20 minutes to get their attention in store. Want to sell expensive TVs and major appliances in five minutes flat. And even then can’t devote five minutes to the sale. Driven by commissions and quotas? Start shopping somewhere else!!! Then management and the Board and shareholders might show some interest in fixing the problems.
Three months ago our Dishwasher failed. We bought a top to the range ASKO dishwasher from JB at Carseldine store in Brisbane. JB has stuffed us around all that time. I Have called, pleaded, begged, and ranted but JB service has been notable absent! Yesterday they approved a replacement. Great! Today they told me they want $396.00 to deliver it! Not install...just deliver. Not happy JB!!!!!

JB HiFi Toowoomba city. Who says retail stores are on the way out? I went into this store looking for a simple bluetooth receiver. The lay-out of the store was wildly counter-intuitive and the six (yep six) sales non-assistants were masters at yucking it up with each other, looking the other way to avoid eye contact, trying to look busy, talking about fortnite / dungeons and dragons / chess club or whatever that less than fashionable demographic likes to talk about..., but no contact or service for me or anyone else in the store for the 15 minutes I was there. Needless to say, I went home and bought it online. JB = Just Bad.
Appalling 'service', rude and ignorant
Went to Rosny Eastland's store at approx 1210 Thursday Feb 5 to inspect and buy the new Nokia 5.4 as advertised in a full page ad in their latest catalogue. I had never been there before.
Guy who served me straight up asked which colour I wanted to buy as if that was all I should ask for. I asked to see both as I wanted to actually inspect the phone and its features. Well what an issue such a request became. He handed me a display mockup while he looked for another model.He said everything was sealed so I could not see the other colour. I asked...
Why in this day and age a huge retailer like JBHIFI doesn't offer Afterpay astounds me.
JBHIFI continues to refuse to offer Afterpay for whatever reason. Its ridiculous... I would be willing to shop more at jbhifi if they did offer it.
the worst customer service i have ever seen
i went into this store knowing what i wanted to but but they were locked up. I looked around for a staff member and couldn't tell who worked there so i went to the payment counter and asked for help there were two staff members there talking to each other and laughing so returned to the counter where the items were and waited after another 5 minutes my wife tried an old tactic and phoned the store from inside the store when they eventually answered they said they would send someone over straight away about another 3 minutes later my wife went t...o the register the two staff members were still having there conversation and said they would be over in a minute i set an alarm on my phone as if nobody had come over in the next 2 minutes i was going elsewhere just as the alarm was going off one of the two that i first asked came over so i asked him about the price that was advertised online and he replied that sale ended last night and the item was now $70 dearer( when I phoned the night before to check stock they didn't tell me that) so i figured that was the last straw i thanked him for his time and walked out the door will i return to JBHIFI what do you think !!!

I purchased from JB Hi Eastland 27/11/19 First screen failed approx 3 month second screen cracks appeared approx 7 months later . JB said microsoft would only considered laptop had been dropped wanted $1000 dollars to repair . Held off on repairing decised to take JB Chirnside Park very quick to palm off to Microsoft after discussions and showing Eastland repair docket
Manager reluctantly created new repair docket.
This Laptop has been a lemon from the start and the service from JB both at Eastland and Chirnside has been poor .All care and no responsibility!!!! Do not buy this laptop and question return policies on all purchases from JB HI.
Worst customer service ever Robina Store
Had a faulty Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard that I purchased 3 months ago.
From the minute i walked in got treated like a leper.
Everyone turned their heads & ignored me.
After 5 mins went to front counter & girl at the front didn't want anything to do with it & said I needed to wait for sales staff.
I walked out.
I will never shop here again.
Credit card fees like its 1995!
Seriously, whats with your credit card fees?
You charge 2.**% for the use of an Amex.....American express halved the fees for merchants almost 2 years ago but you still charge the inflated amount....thats a $12 fee on a $500 purchase.... even most tiny cafes etc. dont charge an amex/visa/MC fee anymore...might as well go to binglee or officeworks etc. Not only are they pricematchers, but NO FEES on ALL CREDIT CARDS..
Oh and please dont say the whole 'we charge fees to keep prices low on goods'.... have you checked your prucing recently....oh i forgot....(keep shareholders happy)..... my bad
JB Worker Complaint
My Dad has been BANNED from JB at Forest Hill Chase. All for saying hello at the door girl over a month ago. It was that blonde woman who kicked him out. I want to speak to someone about this. I'm really angry about this. He did nothing wrong. My Dad has had 4 accusations made against him, someone said he had his arm around one girl, and they accused him of belittling another staff member. He is always friendly. Not one warning he received. This is really upsetting to our family. He said Happy New Year to that blonde woman over a week ago, she ignored him, and walked away. You should be ashamed of yourselves, JB-HIFI. He is 82 years old. He would never harm a fly. He is the most harmless and friendliest man in the world.

Total lack of customer service
Recently visited JB Hi-Fi's modbury store, firstly meet by aggressive security guard at front door who barked orders to everyone who came in. Lots of floor staff who were too interested in talking to their friends and comparing muscles. Then when came to check out the line was nearly out the door, only 2 registers operating but 5 staff behind the counter. I understand there are COVID restrictions at the moment but wouldnt you think that the staff on the registers wouldnt have to answer the phones as well while the other 3 just chat away. Nu...mber of people complained, staff just not interested and when voiced opinion about the number of people in the store the security lady at the front door just arked up and started abusing us the customer who just spent money in the store where she works!!!! Honestly serious training required for all staff on service and customer service.

This older guy at the section at JB HiFi Miranda where they sell connections and cable was exactly like this! I swore three years back never to visit the Tweed City store again after waiting an hour for service. Well, I weakened today and tried them again. Nothing has changed. They simply just don't have enough staff and those who weren't attending to customers were jovially talking to each other and ignoring those waiting around them. That's it for me.
