Disgusting Rude Store Berrimah NT
Disinterested female on main counter chose to break away from communication with myself mid sentence in order to use her mobile phone when I was asking her whether stock was available for a particular movie title. When she finished on her mobile phone (30 seconds later) she promptly handed myself a piece of paper and pen and asked me to write the detail down for her to look at it. She then looked at it and said to myself quickly “we don’t have that mate” and walked away.
Poor customer service
Went to Warrawong JB HiFi. Walked in the store. Most of the sale assistance were standing around talking to each other about their private lives, which was extremely loud, so loud you call here it through the whole store. After about 10min a sale assistant came up and asked if I need help. I told them what I needed. Replied “Sorry we don't have that. I don't even know what it is” news flash it's on your web page. Just had to leave and bought else where.
Very poor customer service
Was told on Saturday when I bought a 75” Sony smart tv worth $2500 my tv would be getting installed on the Wednesday, so took the day off to be home, then 4:30pm Tuesday get a phone call saying you won’t be getting it until Friday and there was nothing they could do, got told I could get a blue ray or DVD for there stuff around lol the way I was told was quite abrupt, so I asked for a refund, and was told I had to go to any jbhifi to get a refund! I was very unimpressed by the way I had been spoken to, like the manager didn’t give to shoots ...about loosing the sale or making the customer happy! Went and got price matched at Harvey Norman, got the same price with extras and being installed on the Wednesday! Just writing this review to let people know that jbhifi customer service has gone down hill dramatically, it was the go to store for me but not anymore, I’m glad they did not get my money, and they will not be in the near future! I again purchased a 4 port USB hub.
I found the item and noticed that there was a huge price difference from $30 plus to well over a &100 plus.
I made the terrible decision to ask the young guy with a pony tail does this item I purchased fit all USB's as the price difference was so large. He replied "I don't understand your question?"
I said well why is there such a big price difference,,,,,his reply "They are C's" (unsaid you idiot!and delivered in that way too) I am afraid I have NO IDEA what a C is? The whole conversation was condescendi...
Would not give warranty
Paid for a $240 Fitbit that they said I would have warranty on, 6 months later Fitbit not working and took it to Toowoomba store and was told not their responsibility. Don’t trust JB Hi Fi or Fitbit

Absolutely rude customer service over the phone from the Bundall store phoned up asking about ps5 stock got treated like dirt for asking she didn't even attempt to look anything up
Price match is no such thing
They do not match online stores only physical stores according to my local Jb hifi store. This is not specified on their website.
I paid for a TV with the Black Friday sales and was told that they did not have stock in store but I would receive it before Christmas. I phoned after Christmas and was told that I just missed out and would receive tv on 12.01.21. I phoned them after that date and was told that they still had no stock. I am still waiting despite contacting the national service line who referred me back to store that I had issues with!!!

JB HiFi Toowoomba city. Who says retail stores are on the way out? I went into this store looking for a simple bluetooth receiver. The lay-out of the store was wildly counter-intuitive and the six (yep six) sales non-assistants were masters at yucking it up with each other, looking the other way to avoid eye contact, trying to look busy, talking about fortnite / dungeons and dragons / chess club or whatever that less than fashionable demographic likes to talk about..., but no contact or service for me or anyone else in the store for the 15 minutes I was there. Needless to say, I went home and bought it online. JB = Just Bad.
Appalling 'service', rude and ignorant
Went to Rosny Eastland's store at approx 1210 Thursday Feb 5 to inspect and buy the new Nokia 5.4 as advertised in a full page ad in their latest catalogue. I had never been there before.
Guy who served me straight up asked which colour I wanted to buy as if that was all I should ask for. I asked to see both as I wanted to actually inspect the phone and its features. Well what an issue such a request became. He handed me a display mockup while he looked for another model.He said everything was sealed so I could not see the other colour. I asked...
Why in this day and age a huge retailer like JBHIFI doesn't offer Afterpay astounds me.
JBHIFI continues to refuse to offer Afterpay for whatever reason. Its ridiculous... I would be willing to shop more at jbhifi if they did offer it.
the worst customer service i have ever seen
i went into this store knowing what i wanted to but but they were locked up. I looked around for a staff member and couldn't tell who worked there so i went to the payment counter and asked for help there were two staff members there talking to each other and laughing so returned to the counter where the items were and waited after another 5 minutes my wife tried an old tactic and phoned the store from inside the store when they eventually answered they said they would send someone over straight away about another 3 minutes later my wife went t...o the register the two staff members were still having there conversation and said they would be over in a minute i set an alarm on my phone as if nobody had come over in the next 2 minutes i was going elsewhere just as the alarm was going off one of the two that i first asked came over so i asked him about the price that was advertised online and he replied that sale ended last night and the item was now $70 dearer( when I phoned the night before to check stock they didn't tell me that) so i figured that was the last straw i thanked him for his time and walked out the door will i return to JBHIFI what do you think !!!
Worst customer service ever Robina Store
Had a faulty Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard that I purchased 3 months ago.
From the minute i walked in got treated like a leper.
Everyone turned their heads & ignored me.
After 5 mins went to front counter & girl at the front didn't want anything to do with it & said I needed to wait for sales staff.
I walked out.
I will never shop here again.
JB Worker Complaint
My Dad has been BANNED from JB at Forest Hill Chase. All for saying hello at the door girl over a month ago. It was that blonde woman who kicked him out. I want to speak to someone about this. I'm really angry about this. He did nothing wrong. My Dad has had 4 accusations made against him, someone said he had his arm around one girl, and they accused him of belittling another staff member. He is always friendly. Not one warning he received. This is really upsetting to our family. He said Happy New Year to that blonde woman over a week ago, she ignored him, and walked away. You should be ashamed of yourselves, JB-HIFI. He is 82 years old. He would never harm a fly. He is the most harmless and friendliest man in the world.
How dare you.
Total lack of customer service
Recently visited JB Hi-Fi's modbury store, firstly meet by aggressive security guard at front door who barked orders to everyone who came in. Lots of floor staff who were too interested in talking to their friends and comparing muscles. Then when came to check out the line was nearly out the door, only 2 registers operating but 5 staff behind the counter. I understand there are COVID restrictions at the moment but wouldnt you think that the staff on the registers wouldnt have to answer the phones as well while the other 3 just chat away. Nu...mber of people complained, staff just not interested and when voiced opinion about the number of people in the store the security lady at the front door just arked up and started abusing us the customer who just spent money in the store where she works!!!! Honestly serious training required for all staff on service and customer service.
Is anyone home?
I swore three years back never to visit the Tweed City store again after waiting an hour for service. Well, I weakened today and tried them again. Nothing has changed. They simply just don't have enough staff and those who weren't attending to customers were jovially talking to each other and ignoring those waiting around them. That's it for me.
Never Buy From Jb Hi-fi! Terrible Experience
I bought my PS4 Pro from JB Hi-Fi, not even close to a year the console then crashes on itself destroying the entire harddrive so i sent it in for repairs 30th of November 2020. I was told by staff that it would take roughly less then 4 weeks. I call up on the 9th of January 2021 and i get told that JB Hi-Fi gave Sony the wrong Serial Number so my PS4 Pro wasnt sent to Sony a whole 17 days after i put it Playstation for repair!
This service is absolutely terrible and the woman that was talking to me over the phone didn't even say sorry, she didn't seem to care or to even try help me!
Im making sure none of my family, friends, relatives, everyone not to buy from JB HI FI EVERRRRR!!!!

DO NOT GIVE JB-HIFI YOUR DETAILS FOR SMS/EMAIL RECEIPTS. After doing so INSTORE I have been targeted by sms scams. Not a new thing but this time they know my full name
(not email name) phone number, suburb I live in and store i shopped at. The only way for this to happen is from INSTORE AT JB-HIFI I have never and will never give this info out online.
So do not give your information to JB-HIFI instore..
Not matching prices is poor business
Poor customer service. In this day and age JB is way behind the times, with not matching either Costco prices or online competitor prices. I was going to be at the Rouse Hill store today, so rather than duck down the road to Costco at Marsden Park (to which I am a member) I wanted to see if JB would match the $79.95 Costco had for an item, that JB was selling for $89.95... well they wouldn't match it, saying you had to be a member of Costco to get those cheap prices. Well I am a member, so I will go down the road and JB can lose my business oer...$10 (or I can even get the product online at Costco with free delivery - even other stores in Melbourne - Im in Sydney - have it for $80 with free shipping, which JB wouldn't match either as they were in VIC). Ok, then don't take my money. (Even Harvery Norman will price match Costco). Very inflexible practices when the days of store shopping are going by the wayside. If you want my business JB you really need to get with the times and actually either offer more competitive prices or actually price match, regardless of if it's Costco or an online store (especially when the difference is only $10).
Dont buy from JD HI FI their Lenovo tablets.
DON'T BUY LENOVO tabs from JD HI FI They refuse to bring in screen protectors. Not happy with staff "too bad" attitude.
