Not expected !!!
JBHiFi sometimes higher in devive stock and price comparing to other electronic retail store. Furthermore do not stock desired products though and a simple review of not having the right model in their stock is not published because does not meet standard. Actually, their rip off standard. That is so unexpected. Lucky did not buy too expensive devicd with refund and delivery problems.
First & Last
I have ordered 4 Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machines online as family presents & their Courier Toll Priority stuffed-up the delivery of my orders. First, they split the order (even though they were sent out together), being 3 orders were delivered to Botany Depot & the 4th, delivered to Bungarribee, NSW. The courier then sent an sms that they were going to deliver on the 26/11/20, then the 27/11/20. I wasted 2 days waiting, which did not arrived & spoke to customer service (3 times) & adviced them that I do not want them delivered home, but i...nstead, made arrangement to pick them up from the Botany Depot, which was 15 mins. drive away (next suburb). Today, they delivered them at home, good thing that my husband was home (otherwise, more wasted days). After all this, the items were not sealed nor wrapped. Not happy, JB HIFI, after paying $18.00 for delivery, you could at least made the effort to wrapped them in plastic, not just leave them as is (see photo).
Have purchased from Morayfield store before, last 3 relatively big guys for us anyway. Went in yesterday, Monday 26th Oct & got the worst service yet. Two girls at phone counter, one sitting on floor, 2nd at computer leaning on counter. Initially we said happy browsing, then said when you get a chance we've got a few questions, she kept leaning on the counter looking at the screen as she spoke. Ended up getting the answers & product we wanted, she took phone to register, whilst we went to find a new bluetooth speaker. There was a huge trolley b...locking one of the aisles & couldn't see the product. Stood their obviously trying to see our options, no assistance was offered. We had to get her attention to ask, even though she was right in front of us. Wandered through looking at options & then were standing in front of Marley speakers, we were told we had to move as he needed to put ladder up. We nearly walked out right then without buying anything. Ended up buying another brand away from ladder. Got to the pay counter, 5 staff behind counter but only 1 lady serving & training at same time. I kid you not 8 minutes later we got served & we were 2nd in line. 3 others behind us all voicing same concerns. When you have a line up, maybe take the lead from other more customer service orientated stores & open another register! I also work in retail & would never ask a customer to move whilst they were browsing.
Ordered online for click & collect
Ordered online yesterday Saturday afternoon for a Wifi Modem that would work for my NBN connection and after a few minutes it is ready for collection at a store here in Dandenong Victoria. Went to pick it up straight after and went home to try the said Modem I ordered, end up not capable to deliver the speed I have with my NBN 100/20 so I called asking to have it exchange for a better modem yet I spoke to the Manager of the said store and sad to say due to Covid they are not allowed to accept change of mind returns and have told to wait til restrictions are lifted. So I am leaving this feedback for people out there whose thinking to order online in considering your options if the product is right for you.
Overall a good experience
Click and collect has been great during COVID (VIC), with fast pickup times. Prior to this, I had good experiences instore including warranty returns / exchanges.
Pricing could be sharper on some items, but on occasion it's worth paying a few more $$ to get it same day.
It's like they expect you to already know the details.
You ask about an item and tell them your price point, what you want to spend approx, that you want fairly good quality.. They don't have the item that you want so you point to another one and they get annoyed.. Why because it's not as good quality.. However I'm there BECAUSE I don't know what's good, so perhaps be a little more patient and friendly instead of speaking to me like I'm an idiot for not knowing something that's not my job.. If you want me to do all the research online then I'll also buy it online from whomever has the best price.. They're there to offer a service, you go in there to buy, to speak to a person, to support local business.. Sheesh... And this has happened twice now.. Both at the Forest Hill branch.

Although products were limited ,products were genuine and there are lot of offers .Limited customer service staff so hard to get with one,i love JBHIFI but more products need to be add

Friendly staff and great service
Purchased a TV from here wanting it specifically for gaming. The salesman with honest and very helpful, from the first point of contact to the very end of the sale. Would definitely recommend JB Hi-Fi at Kawana, they helped with my latitude finance card and did everything that they could to make the transaction easy

Great product-kambrook rice cooker
I bought this rice cooker as recommended in-store, my 1st cook was so fast and easy with brilliant fluffy rice ready just before I finished cooking my curry...excellent product..great price .$49.
Joshua from the Liverpool store was patient and attentive to my need for having to purchase a Lap Top with special specifications.
He provided technical advise in a simple way for me to understand and provided me with multiple ideas on few products allowing me to make a sound decision.

Good product, lack of organization
Bought a pair of airpods from the store in Brisbane city. The product is great and the costumer service was okay! I had gone to another brand of the store the same day earlier and was told that there were no more airpods nearby... Maybe a lack of organization, but they were available in the closest store.
My local store has a fantastic team that work well together and communicate to match your needs, We have frequently been offered further discounts resulting in our return to purchase goods.

Great company and service
Always able to get help have a great range of music and games for very fair prices have always loved my experience with there staff happy and friendly easy to deal with
Staff to busy on their personal mobiles / chatting away in there groups blocking the mobile section
I wanted to look and purchase a new mobile but the staff are to busy in there little groups chatting away like a social gathering blocking my view to look at the phones. Im aware of the increased bad customer service culture growing in that store. They better review there staff policy and stop use of personal mobiles during work hours. Jbhifi used to be my favourite store to shop , 5 years ago they had well trained staff who are customer focused and beat competitor prices. I guess profit margins are finally getting to their heads.
Aftersales service is poor
Got sold an iPhone watch and they said it’s sapphire crystal. We got a scratch somehow without noticing and when we went back the staff said even if it’s sapphire crystal it will scratch and they can’t help.
Service at Doncaster Westfield is pretty good, staff always happy to help. Sometimes may be hard to find staff, but tgey are always very friendly. I enjoy shopping at JB.
Price matched saving me money
Went to my local store to get a phone printer for my daughter. After doing some research I noticed it was $40 cheaper elsewhere but the sales guy said they would price match to save me going to the other shop.
I was happy with the product I bought but felt let down when I realised I had been overcharged. I've been shopping there since they first opened and this is the first time this has happened but also the first time that staff were unaware of the deals jbhifi had for the item purchased. I made the staff aware of those deals when I saw I was overcharged. I would also like to add that it's not how it used to be either from products to staff knowledge of items been sold. Bring back the original jb with the excellent long lasting products.
