Totally Sufficient for the Price

Everyone can agree that the in-built speakers of flat screen TVs are never great. This budget sound bar (under $250) makes watching movies and video games much more enjoyable with very good depth and clarity, especially with film dialogue. It can get very loud before it shows any sign of distortion, with a couple of different sound modes accessible by the remote (albeit a bit fiddly). It's out of the box plug-and-play, with HDMI out (cable not supplied), optical out (supplied), AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. Make sure the device you're connecting it to has these inputs (the newer PS4s don't have an optical port, for example). It also has a "virtual surround sound" mode which is acceptable for this price. The design is sleek and streamlined enough, but you kind of have to be right in front of it for the remote to work. Overall, very happy with its performance and would recommend if you're on a budget.
