Good sound, mediocre build quality.
* Good sound quality for music I listen (various genres from classical music to trance). More pronounced lows when you enable Noise Cancelling module.
* Poor for teleconferencing - When using built in microphone for conference calls, people are complaining that I'm not that clear... Not sure what the reason is as I hear them well - this would indicate BT connection is fine. I've stopped using built in mic. Worth noting - there are two devices in one. One of them is for stereo listening, the other one overwrites the first one whenever you start...
Read more using built in mic. This way talk/chat module comes into play. Whatever device was sending musing over to stereo module, keeps doing so. Sound quality over "BT speach" mode is very poor. Since I've stopped using buitin MIC, I've also disabled the speakers part of that mode and I'm using Skype along with external USB microphone and connecting via BT to stereo speakers in the headphones - the ones for listening music. This way I get the best experience (quality, both ends - in and out). * Poor build quality. On one hand all used materials are nice to touch/handle. On the other hand their durability is questionable. 1) Left over-ear cup "leather wrapping" unglued itself inside the cup, now it isn't as comfy as before (attaching a photo). 2) I have a big head and plastic parts didn't handle it that well (see attached photos - attaching both left and right side) Overall, headphones are still working, but they seem to be on their last legs.Purchased in August 2019.

Poor Quality Product
Headphones are about 18 month old and have worked well. Now both cans are cracked where they join the head frame. Other reviewers have mentioned the same problem. Harman Lifestyle don't want to know. If you have a problem with JBL Headphones email their customer care department support.apac@harman.com

broken after 8 months of use
I quite liked these headphones, the noise cancellation feature is awesome, clear sound and very good quality.
however, after 8 months of use one of the sides of the headphones just broke and it's no longer wearable. I paid 240 dollars for them and having issue like this after 8 months it's not really good, meaning fixing them would be more expensive than getting a new pair, so I think quality and pricing don't make sense.
Purchased in August 2018 for $240.00.

Great affordable headset
Great headset, sound quality is very clear, it also has a outside noise cancellation function which is awesome and if you're not using it every day or even use every day for a couple of hours only, it will last you forever. I spend a couple of hours o the phone at work and it is great to have your hands free and be able to still type and be on the phone with another party.

Nice and easy
Good size headphones. Easy to use with gr8 sound. Battery last close to description. Active Noice Cancelling works gr8. Bluetooth range is good and it folds quite easily. Would love for it to come with a carry case or bag. Could do wif a tad bit bigger ear cups and longer power cord.

Terrible product, stopped working within 1 hour of use
I bought these headphones from Harvey Norman for $161 on sale, and returned them 4 days later. Took them on the train ride to work and at first noise cancelling worked fine, but i did notice that as i moved my neck and head it broke the seal and audio was in and out. Then after about an hour, the right earpiece stopped working, however it would intermittently work when i pressed it. These headphones are just a bit too small for my average ears, and are uncomfortable after long periods. I have seen many users report this issue, only wish i seen it before I purchased them, i would have not bought them then.
JBL needs to sort this production issue out, and it is unacceptable to sell a faulty product to unsuspecting consumers.

Very disappointed !!!!!
Warning don’t waste your money in those headphone!
I bought them before a long trip to Europe because I didn’t want to use the plane ones, after half an hour choosing from Bose and Sony, I pick the jbl based on the price- quality I thought it was the best option.
Once I was in the plane I try to use them and the plastic in the headband broke, after that I notice that the noise canceling wasnt working properly, as soon as I move my head the sound was distorted.
After that I try to connect with the computerwith the noise cancelling to wat...
Read morech some videos in you tube and for no reasons it was on and off all the time. I contacted the Harman customer services and after emails going in and out they have just told me that they couldn’t do anything with the product. one day I couldn’t handle all the damages (distortion, sound on and off) and just threw the device in the rubbish bin loosing my money.beebeegeeMelbourne, Vic

Excellent Bang for Buck. Nice Product
This headphone is bluetooth with active noise cancelling. It was purchased to replace an older Jabra wired noise canceller that was brilliant but not the sturdiest, for air travel and to replace a Creative wireless gaming headset we used for general purpose on the PC. Could not be happier. The fidelity is good, the microphone is good, they seem quite sturdy, the active noise cancelling is very effective and the passive noise attenuation very good. They fit my head nicely - snug but not too tight. The controls are a bit fiddly (small and so...
Read moreme think oddly placed) but not a worry for me. Purchased them from JBHiFi on a sale so the bang for buck is brilliant for my value system. You can find some nits, but in a practical sense they are usually nits unless you are an audiophile with excellent hearing and discerning of nuances. The battery is rechargeable non-replaceable. Runtime is about 20 hours with BT and NC both active. The single down side is they cannot be used whilst charging (standard microUSB charging). Worst case recharge seems under 2 hours. My partner auditioned mine and went shopping expecting to buy something else, but came home with E65BTNC's after in-shop comparisons. She loves hers also.Questions & Answers

I have 2 pairs, no problems. I have no idea why your might fail twice the same way. Do you play at very high volume? Are you possibly a bit rough when you take them on/off or fold them (they should be built to withstand that, but). If neither of those possibilities arise just deal with JBL warranty and the ACL.
I don't know why it happened. I'll use the headphone atleast 4 hrs in one day. I'm not a rough user.
Even I am facing this problem. I saw on other blogs... This is a persistent problem to these ones. Someone shower a video on factory reset. Tried, even that does not work. Pls. Help.
