A Great speaker.

A really good speaker for almost any situation. On its own it has plenty of volume and bass. I very rarely push this thing past half volume but even way beyond half it still sounds great. I like heavy metal/rock/grunge music and it really pumps. My wife listens to mostly top 40 and r&b and it is perfect for that.

Looks good, it's well built and is very sturdy. My only wish was that it had a longer battery life. It's still ok don't get me wrong, but once you have the volume up and the lights on, it chews through the battery quite fast. Seriously, that's my only gripe with it.

I am judging against the Sony GTK-XB5 (which I also own) and the JBL beats it in every aspect.

Purchased in August 2021 at Harvey Norman for $396.00.

This little thing is a beast

If you understand bass, if you appreciate bass, if you love bass and if you like Psytrance or similar genre of music, then this thing is God. Period.
The best thing about JBL PB 100 is that the bass doesn't interfere or spoil the overall quality of sound. This thing is a true genius. So good that I am thinking about buying a spare (just in case).

Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman for $395.00.

The best thing Ive ever got

This is the best product bluetooth speaker I've ever got .. the output is really crispy clear. The price is also fair enough. Best for a party indoors as well as outdoors .. worth buying.

Sounds larger than it is

Partybox 100 is a great piece of equipment.
It is Very loud, and sound quality is also excellent for a portable Bluetooth speaker.
It would be nice to have some sort of options to fine tune it to your preferences.
It is $100 cheaper than the jbl boombox, but its twice the size and almost 4 times louder. Bass is huge on this thing compared to the boombox.
Comparing it to my old sony, this is light years ahead in quality and sound.
Highly recommend
