Horrivble service

flight was cancelled 1year ago, had flexible fare would not refund eventually provided voucher, cancelled flight again then would not refund again despite waiting hrs on the phone and cancellation occuring one hour before next flight, eventually offered voucher same experience with domestic. Low quality and overpriced was able to get a cheaper flight with better quality elsewhere. Show details

I have just tried to book flights for 2 adults from Adelaide to Phuket return. It's like someone has set out to make their website and online booking system as difficult and confusing as possible. I booked the same trip with an Asian airline, done and dusted in under 10 minutes. Oh, at a better price than this pack of useless...

Avoid Jetstar

Flew on the A321 Neo BNE to Denpasar for 6 days holiday. Last time ever we will fly Jetstar! Nearly a six hour flight, crammed in. Paid for the exit row 29, oops...no window. 3 toilets for 232 passengers. What has happened to International Flying? Horrible experience! Freezing cold in row 29 but flight attendant laughed off my request to warm the cabin a bit... asked if I would like to buy a blanket for $15 AUD. Bought a hoodie for the return trip in row 9...guess what, it was hot up the front, so cabin zone temps are not good in the Neo. This route should be serviced by no less than the 787 0r A330. The Neo is very unpleasant. Never again! Show details

Worst airline ever avoid at all cost

I paid for four tickets and accommodation through Jetstar to Bali in 2022. About 7000 dollars. My mom got sick and hospitalized. I had to cancel the trip. We did not get refund. Instead 8 vouchers. 4 for flights and 4 for accommodation under 4 different names. I understood it was still Covid time and all airplane companies had difficulty to do refund. So I only contacted Jetstar in 2023 for a full refund or combine them into one voucher as it is too difficult to make bookings. But their answer is no. I am pregnant and have no plans to travel anywhere. It looks like this money is going to be wasted.

Reliability Woes: Jetstar’s Consistent Delays

Jetstar’s repeated delays have marred my travel experience, with a staggering seven out of ten flights being delayed. This alarming frequency of disruptions reflects poorly on the airline’s commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction.
Each delay adds unnecessary stress and inconvenience to what should be a smooth travel experience.I can no longer justify choosing this airline. Jetstar are absolutle disgusting should be closed down!

Stay well and truly away from this airline, they owe us over $1700 in flights after they had canceled our flights home from japan! We were left stranded with no help from jetstar for an additional 6nights (over $2000) in additional cost for accommodation at our expense and was forced to rebook on another airline the refund has taken 4months and minimal response now we have contacted fair trades and services and lodged a claim against them for our flights to be refunded, please cannot stress this enough book your flights elsewhere jetstar should not even be operating they should be shut down! Dont make the mistake me and my partner did by flying with this disgusting airline! Show details

Not allowed to board

Extremely disappointed! Was not allowed to board my international flight. Airline check in clerk denied my check in due to a 3mm tear on my passport. I booked a flight with City Link straight away next door with no issues through both airports. I will never use Jetstar again. I work for a company that books many domestic and international flights and won’t utilise Jetstar again for any company travel due to unhelpful staff. Show details

Very bad

TerribleOut ..the flight cancelled and they gave us flight aftee 24hrs...and gave only 10$ cuppon dor food...which food counter provide food in 10$ cost, ..this is my last time booking woth Jetstar... I don't recommend, especially if you need to be somewhere on time. Won't be using jetstar in the future. Show details

NEVER booking with Jetstar again

TERRIBLE experience every single time. Their customer service line is no help either, same [Content Removed] as what we can do online (the website crashed 2x and took the money out of my bank acc ut didn't send a ticket and on their side, it said I didn't pay), and online ins unreliable. After 1.5 ours of being left on hold every now and then they couldn't and didn't do [Content Removed]

Hopeless

Hopeless. 2h delay so far in Gold Coast to Auckland flight due to "engineering requirements" (like what?!? Didn't have time to maintain the aircraft in the morning?!) . Now missing my connection and need to stay overnight in Auckland, adding cost for rebooking and hotel , around $300. Hahaha, then they give you a refreshment voucher of $10... Does not even buy a cheese tomato croissant let alone a soft drink or coffee with that. Should have flown a quality airline in the first place, the $$ Jetstar savings have fully disappeared due to the long delay. Hopeless. I'll be checking out any other airline in the future before I book with Jetstar again. I suggest you do the same. Show details

Delays delays and no compensation

Trip to Bali return...delay to board of 2+ hrs extending to three before takeoff. I didnt opt for refreshments, and my extra 3 hours in the airport garnered no sympathy on airplane. Not even a cup of coffee
Coming home from Bali, again a selay of over an hour. Cabin was freezing cold. Horrble trip home. No blanket offered.
Cost $700+ for trip. ...yet nothing offered in way of refreshments except water.
Won' t be flying with them again. Show details

Terrible airline flight from Bangkok-Brisbane, Thailand to Melbourne was canceled my flight and have new ticket which not get any announcement then transit from Melbourne to Brisbane ,I got extra charged money because of over weight 2 carry on bags from international flight and the over charged bags charge from international flights which is nonsense. Dreadful airline

Dreadful airline. Staff are rude, obnoxious and arrogant. A staff member called [Name Removed] was aggressive, confrontational and [Content Removed].

When the airline cause damage to passengers' property or loose items, they deny liability. They damaged my laptop and refused to offer reparation. AVOID THIS AWFUL AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS. Show details

Feel like your in a rip off shop

Things you had to pay for.
Nothing was complimentry.
Paid $15 for entertainment package.
$20 for food and was terrible.
$8 fr half cup of black coffee.
Had to ask for water.
Really uncomfortable seats.
Had to pay $85 for suitcase on plane.
$130 extra on you ticket.
It was like being in a market with cabin staff selling food with there credit card reader.
Felt really cheap trying to get as much money as possible.
The food menu was tacky .

Slug you with massive fees!! Beware

Nothing good to say, we recently booked flights to Japan and wanted to fly into Osaka and fly out of Tokyo, to do this Jetstar slugged us with an extra $350 in charges. I rang Jetstar to complain and they hung up on me, so unprofessional. Show details

Terrible Experience

Booked 4 tickets to Bali which included a ticket for a friend of my son who can no longer go. Was on hold for almost 20 minutes to try and change the name. Eventually got through only to be told that the name change would cost $500 which is the same price I paid for the ticket in the first place. What an absolute joke!? Will never use jetstar again. I will be happy to pay more to fly with anyone else!!! Show details

Disgraceful

Jetstar have again let us down immeasurably, this time losing our luggage on the way to our overseas destination. Dealing with them has been super frustrating and despite the contents of our baggage amounting to over $4000, they have offered a paltry $800 compensation. The customer service staff are completely unapologetic. Disgraceful experience all over. Avoid this joke of an airline at all costs if you ever wish to see your belongings again. Show details

Recently flew back to Australia from Singapore and unfortunately was booked on Jetstar before I had time to object. As usual - horror story

let’s start with the Seats that crushed the very life out of you before making sitting for one second longer unbearable….

Staff that barked demands and ordered paying passengers around as if they were cattle who must be intimidated into obeying. Do Jetstar have a policy that staff must not say please and thankyou?

Jetstar - people pay good money to fly with you - they are not a ravening mob to be subdued, dominated and treated with utter

Bought 4 tickets to Bali $1300 each, and also I have paid for the seats.
One of my son couldn’t come with us, I tried to get a voucher but they said it’s not refundable… when I boarded the flight I saw they sold my son’s ticket and seat to someone else… so they made on 1 ticket double price!!! $2600

Performance that get worse

These guys keep surprising me with there terrible service and low performance every time its worse. This is my second time and seems to be the last. Even there employees have same bad attitude and rude behaviour just reflecting the airline as a whole. Absolute bottom of the barrel airline , flight delayed 9pm out of Adelaide to 11.25 pm , Rude counter staff with no information could not care less about passengers........then sms at 10.05 sorry your flight has been cancelled , frantic search everything else over booked to get back to Melb next day in time for work.... additional fees in long term parking.....ended up driving back next morning .... that was my Christmas Eve...will never fly with these idiot Clowns again....pathetic Show details

Delay delay and daley

Today 13/01/24
If I could give a zero star!!! Sydney airport to Phuket, we were going to take off at 15:05 pm but the captain announced that they have to return to the bay because of the technical issues. We were told to wait for the next flight at 9:30pm. Now 9:24 they announced that they will have to wait for another 15-20 minutes. What next ? If I can avoid and have another choices I will never ever flight with JetStar again
