Installed a scratched mirror in my new bathroom. Didn’t even bother to clean the mirror after installation. Not professional. Would never recommend, as it’s now made another problem for me to fix.
Refusal To Fix Issue An Issue Within Warranty Period -
My glass doors require a fix immediately, as there is an ongoing issue with the doors being affected by how it was originally setup. This issue has been ongoing for weeks, and when I reported it about a week ago, I was lied to about the fact that my warranty is no longer valid, and when I corrected them, then I was lied to on five different occasions about the fact that someone will be coming, however, to this day, no-one has bothered to come.
Your team at the contact centre keeps repeating their statement that someone will be coming the next...day, then having no-one show up, and the cycle then repeats itself when I try to contact them to follow-up. I haven't had their service installed for longer than 8 months, and they claimed that it's out of the warranty period - apparently their contact' centre definition of a twelve month warranty is 8 months and above? As you can imagine, no-one enjoys constantly being lied to and being provided with false information. I have emailed you the details about this - I would like someone to follow-up with this immediately.

So large Franchise company you would expect a better service experience. Went through their online booking form only to receive an automated response saying they are fully booked....That's OK, but fully booked until when? Tomorrow, next week, next year??? Rang their "customer service" line only to be told that the system only looks 7 days in advance, so I would have to resubmit my form every 7 days until I can be lucky enough to be graced with someone from Jim's Glass to call me back. Ummm...no thank you. Sounds like you either don't want the business or, more likely, don't deserve business.

Rang Jim's to get a quote but was told they don't have any one servicing my area. Did Google search and found Jim's Mooroolbark just within 5-10kms from my place. Rang Jim's again but was told that the area I lived in was not purchased so no one could provide a service. Franchise greed kicked in and was told by [name removed] can't help you.
I accidentally broke a reasonably large window in our bedroom on the weekend. I called Jim's glass to make an appointment to fix it the next day. They were very quick with their initial call back and quick to make a suitable time to get the window replaced. They said that they would come at 11am on Monday, which worked well for me as I had to go to work at 1:30pm. I was happy with the service at this point in time.
Then when it came to Monday, there was no sign of the workman at 11am or 12pm so I called the company and they assured me th...at the workman should be here at any moment. 1pm.... still no sign (I had to call work to say I would be running late). Still no sign by 1:15pm so I called again and this time the man on the other end of the phone put me on hold and called the workman to see what was going on. I was taken off hold, only to be told by the man that the workman forgot to come to my house. I understand people make mistakes so I was ok until I asked if they could still come the same day and I was told they wouldn't be able to squeeze me in as the house that they were at now will take too long. This caused me to be 30 minutes late to work for nothing. Then they stated that they wouldn't be able to fix it until Tuesday at 1 pm. This did not accommodate me at all. The man on the phone was friendly, apologetic and offered me a discount for a set price of $150, which was a positive for them. I was disappointed that they didn't call the workman the first time I called. I understand that people do make mistakes and this was undoubtedly one of them. Unfortunately, this really put me out.. I was late to work, had a security risk to my home and didn't even have an offer to fix the window on the same day.

Jim's glass came to repair our new babies room window, which was cracked. When the window was repaired i noticed that the sealing rubber was not properly sealed, with a 5mm gap in the middle of the window and water etc could clearly come in the room. The guy said he would only be able to put silicone over it to fix it and if i wanted the sealing rubber to go around i would have to pay extra. Spoke to his boss to whom i explained that i was paying for a job to be done properly, and was told that if i don't pay then he would get the window remove...d. As this was not what i was paying for, this was what i had to except. Or have a window with a gap with silicone or pay more. To my horror the guy from jim's glass came back with a hammer and smashed the window with glass now all in the babies room and shattered glass all over the side of my babies cupboard. I phoned jim's main office to have the so called boss of jim's company have an attitude and with that told that she would look into it. After about ten minutes she called back and said the guy said he didn't smash it as he had left and the matter was closed. Luckily enough i had a taken photos with my phone of the so called fixed window, then the damaged window with the jim's guy picking up his tools in the photo. I tried to call someone to fix this situation, they refuse to call me. Sooo what the!!!! Do not use jim's franchise for any thing. This must be the worst business i have had to deal with. What's more my two kids where there to witness this and when the jim's guy smashed the window they ran into their room crying and scared, and i am now having a lot of trouble ensuring them that the man is not coming back at night as their bedrooms are next to the babies room. So how is that for service and for the head office to even wash their hands off the matter. Big warning don't use jim's franchise businesses!!!!!!!!! Bad service, vandalism of my house. Terrorisation of my children.
