Felt head was poor communicating with car detailer with availability of days and times was unfortunate because [Name Removed] did his best to accommodate & great customer service was provided by him personally
I paid $155 for detail cleaning for my sedan. He did only vacuuming and seat cleaning, dashboard including windscreen left uncleaned, windows glasses just wipe, left stains. Back seats side left as it is, doors internal areas didn’t clean. Overall experience was bad. I want to go to consumer affairs to complain that I got ripped off by your company. And also car roof interior got few minor spots, he rubbed so hard and ruined it. He was unprofessional the only thing he knew was vacuuming and cleaning car seats. Car now is stinky don’t know what he used.
I booked my car for detailing a couple of weeks in advance via the Hobart branch. Friendly and helpful phone service. They gave me the number for the man they said does their detailing for Hobart customers and I phoned and booked it in for a set time. I verbally gave my address and he asked me to text it to him also, which i did straight away, also confirming the date and time for the detail. He texted back confirming.
When he didn't come at the set time today I phoned to see how far away he was. He advised me he thought I was booked in for th...

$300 For a full car detail that I didn’t get!!!
Price far to high for the result. I paid for a full detail and didn't get one! I used Jim’s detailing as another family members car a 4x4 that had serious bush scuffing, sand, Dirt etc was fully detailed exhaust cleaned, engine bay cleaned and immaculate, aluminium canopy cleaned inside out and polished, absolutely spotless and I saw it and was blown away it looked like a new car. The guy spent 9hours on it and my family member certainly got his money's worth. So I thought I would also try Jim’s car detailing, this being My first experience of ...Jim’s. Unfortunately I could not be more disappointed and would be unlikely to use Jim’s detailing ever again. There is grime still below the window rubbers, some dirt on the inside of the door window frame, grime behind the bonnet protector which can easily fit a sponge behind, The Canopy was not vacuumed out as discussed, the canopy door jambs not cleaned, under tray boxes not cleaned, mirrors still had bugs on it. The sills still had dirt. The engine bay wasn't detailed just washed. A full detail for $300 in my eyes should include cut and polish not just a polish. Invoice states cut and polish yet the retailer said he didn’t do it. Apparently it was clay barred but I can feel the imperfections grime, spots that it had before so I would doubt it was. Plus the very short time the car was completed in made me think before I even saw it how poor the job was likely to be. I will add that the interior was cleaned very well. I would be hesitant to ever use Jim’s detailing. Unfortunately I think I got someone that didn’t have the experience in detailing. I was time poor so needed someone to undertake this for me however I do a far better job myself and doesn’t cost me $300!
