Great service for a RAM device – I was hesitant to order from this place based an earlier review, so I wanted to give them credit for good service. I placed an online order for a RAM device from Perth on a Sunday and received it the following Tuesday. The item was a genuine RAM product, packaged well and it works great. 5 stars from me.

Don't buy RAM gear from them! – I placed my $500 order for RAM parts last week, and of the 27 parts, just one is listed as not being in stock and needing to be back-ordered. Fine. months." I kid you not. Why? It appears most items weren't actually in stock. Order cancelled and parts bought straight from the US. Don't buy RAM parts from these people - as another review also says. At least they did a quick refund of my money.

Very disappointed – Items advertised as being in stock weren’t . ( Ram mount items). After waiting for nearly two weeks with no word I contacted JA GPS and was informed items had been ordered from USA. Would have purchased elsewhere if I was aware of the delay. They did refund promptly on request however.

Inflexible – Be very careful what you order online as if you damage the box in any way you are charged a 10% fee. Product knowledge was not great with the salesman I dealt with. He was a very poor representative for the company. No effort was made to help me when I made a mistake. Probably buy elsewhere from now on. Show details

Unbelievably fast delivery, great price! – Purchased a Garmin watch from the online store at 2pm on the Monday, it arrived at my door at 11am the following morning. It was exactly as described with all documentation and accessories included. Price was the best I could find, so 100% satisfied.

Happy to sell not so happy to support – Purchased a RAM mount for my gopro to attach to my motorbike. Johnny Appleseed to source another nut as without it the mount would not attach. I told the sales “assistant” my problem and that I was happy to pay for the single nut and any postage. I was informed they did not carry or supply any spares and that I would have to buy the WHOLE UNIT again. Effectively another $40 plus postage for a 10 cent nut. They would not budge. Would be very careful buying from this retailer. There are other stockists in Australia for RAM products.

Click and Collect Fail – Click and collect is a fail. Purchased items on Saturday July 11 from Rocklea store as they're open from 9am to 1pm but it seems nobody processes click and collect purchases on a Saturday. With current covid-19 disruptions I'd have thought click and collect would be a priority. Very disappointed!!! Show details

Priority Delivery? After 5 days I am still waiting – I paid for priority delivery. After 5 days I am still waiting. I have been advised by the company that they courier does not deliver to my address. They were quite happy to take my money for that though. and requested a refund. Their response, is “can’t refund until they get the item back?”. So, what happens if the item doesn’t come back, then what? Their response “oh, you didn’t purchase insurance”. Now I’m expected to wait until they can locate the item. These guys are a joke. For the sake of a few bucks, they are blaming the customer for their courier reliability and purchase. I’ve purchased from their other store before without any issues. However, on this occasion, they have let me down. I’ll not be returning to these guys and will also make sure people are aware of the lack of service provided.

Johnny Appleseed should stop selling Garmin products - their maps are horribly outdated – I bought the Garmin City Nav Europe Maps Micro SD card, product number 010-10680-50 for $139.00. On purchase, I stipulated it has to be the latest version. Not so, as today I tried to enter the address of a good friend of mine, who lives in La Herradura, Granada in Spain. outdated map just would not accept the given address. My friend has been living there for 12 years. On Google maps, one can find his address in seconds. Added to that, one can also see his house - clearly. It is criminal, that Garmin charge such outrageous prices for maps that are clearly ancient - where did they get their information from - Christopher Columbus? I had called Garmin and warned them that if the maps they are supplying for Europe to me are outdated, I will be returning them to the dealer. As I am leaving in just a few days, I can only do this on my return, in July. If I encounter any issues returning this outdated Garmin City Nav Europe map, I will be contacting the ACCC as Garmin have gotten away with this for far too long. As far as Johnny Appleseed goes, no issues here and I would give them a 5-star rating. But Johnny Appleseed should stop selling Garmin products - their maps are horribly outdated.

Fast Service – I ordered a bunch of RAM X-Grip products online at 9AM on Thursday. I live in Cairns. The parcel was delivered by Startrack Friday 1pm. I made one online chat enquiry after ordering and Joel replied with tracking number and re-sent the confirmation e-mail (which my mail server was struggling with) In Short: Fast service. Reliable service. Friendly service. I will be happy to make purchases from here again!

Absolutely professional! – I got my husband a wrong model of a watch he wanted and when we dropped it off back to the St. Kilda shop, we got a new one ordered and delivered the next morning. Friendly and helpful stuff. Will definitely shop again!

have been price matched beforehand. On visiting the Annerley store I was told it was “quite rude” for asking for a price match where I had already been given one by another store. After paying, the store man refused my friendly handshake.

On returning home I noticed the packed had already been opened, with all the accessories lose, the black band missing and the expiry date on the battery almost 2 years less than the specified 7.

I returned it the next day to Annerley for a refund and directed to the Rocklea store for a newer one. Being close to closing time I rang ahead where the store man accepted waiting 2 minutes, not a second longer. I arrived 1 minute past to the store man walking out locking the door in my face telling me he waited.

This is poor customer service and not a good way to retain walk-in customers.

Ended up going to Whitworth’s Marine & Leisure and purchasing the unit for cheaper, with more than 7 years battery life left.

Good service & excellent no hassle backup – I recently purchased a Garmin Chartplotter/ Sounder unit from the Rocklea store. The price was the best I could find and the product was in stock. The guys also backed up my current waypoints onto an SD card to put into the new unit, at just the cost of the SD card. Now that's service!!

Easy as can be – I bought a drone from these guys today. Their price was very competitive and they had the Drones in stock. I went to a major chain starting with the letter J and asked if they would price match but they said no because Johnny Appleseed were more than 20km away. So i caught a train and saved myself $300. Very nice! – Picked myself up a Garmin Forerunner watch a few months ago as the price was quite competitive. Ordered it at 11am one day, and it was delivered to my office at 9am the next morning. Great correspondence, fast delivery and competitive prices so I can't fault these guys and will defiantly consider buying from them again.
