I was after a new fridge in a hurry as mine had broken down. Online was a nightmare as no delivery before August, 3 months away. Lovely lady at JM went out of her way to track one down then arranged for it'd delivery the following day plus removal of old fridge. Now that was service with a smile.1
Every time I go into this store, I am greeted with a smile and asked if I need help. If I don’t need help I am able to look around unhindered.
Awesome! Fantastic service.
Went into Joyce Mayne Sth Nowra NSW store to buy a Fisher & Paykel 8.5 kg washing machine 14 Apr 2022. Was assured by the salesman none were available and no one could advise when one would be. He advised the 10kg LG washing machine was the best one, that his family own them blah blah, so I went ahead and paid for it. Got home and checked reviews and they weren't very good so went back on Saturday and tried to order the 8.5kg but, as it was Easter, different salesman said he would phone F & P on Tuesday and let me know when the next order was p...
Read morelanned. I switched from the LG to the F&P 10kg but changed the day of delivery to Wednesday to give some time for finding out about the 8.5kg. No one rang so I rang them Wed, 9.13am 20/4/22, to be told F&P had no idea when 8.5kgs would be avlb. Sales rep said tried to phone me twice. I have no missed calls registered. I spoke to the new manager/proprietor on Wed 20/4/22 @ 9.22am who told me the same thing. When I said I would cancel the order and regroup he suddenly noticed 6 had been loaded Tuesday at about 7.25am. Told @ 12.11pm machines had arrived, delivery Thursday ( 21/4/2022) Text advised delivery between 2 and 5.00pm 21/4/22. No 2nd text. I rang at 4.17pm and was told all deliveries will be done even after 5.00pm. At 5.14pm was advised tree had fallen on truck in the morning and warehouse had been calling everyone. But not me. I will never buy another thing from Joyce Mayne Sth Nowra. I will collect my $200 credit and buy all my kitchen appliances elsewhere.Update. Its now 12.17pm 22 Apr 2022 and I have not received a text from Joyce Mayne Sth Nowra to advise what the ' delivery window' is today. I have rung Harvey Norman Head Office and spoken to the ' ...
Read moreCorporate' spokesperson LOL. who told me there has been no abuse, that they told me a tree fell on the truck yesterday and that's why there was no delivery and that its scheduled for 3 to 6.00pm today. Talk about miss the point, but no surprises I guess. Another day wasted. It is no wonder customers get treated like this and stores profit from it when Head Office is like it is. Maybe they just want our money???? Last time I deal with Harvey Norman now as well.Still no text at 3.15pm 22 Apr 2022. I have waited in all day and Joyce Mayne Sth Nowra has failed to meet its own pathetic standards. After a lengthy phone call with the Manager, I was assured the tr...
Read moreuck would be here at 6.00pm. It is now 7.35pm, no text, nothing. Truly disgraceful. I haven't been out for 2 days because of these ?people?and its the long weekend and still no washing machine. Sick to death of being on red alert for nothing. This is abuse of a very high order. I am now locking the gate and going in search of dinner since I haven't been able to do any shopping.- Physical store

Australian Consumer Law means nothing to Joyce Mayne ... they treat customers with contempt.
I purchased a Samsung 43” 8 Series UHD 4KTV from Joyce Mayne Maroochydore in mid-May 2020. The TV was less than seven weeks old when it unexpectedly shut down mid-movie and began an endless 13 second cycle of trying to restart. I did some basic troubleshooting before contacting Joyce Mayne Maroochydore to request a replacement. Under Australian Consumer law the TV had clearly suffered a major failure. Joyce Mayne Maroochydore insisted that the TV be taken to a service centre for repair.
Joyce Mayne Maroochydore then contacted me to say the ...

I was having a problem with a manufacturer over a warranty. This went on for 2 months, so I went back to JM and spoke to Bella who is the managers PA. Within 24hrs the problem was fixed and my stress level went down quite a few notches. Many thanks Bella.

Bought a computer with from Joyce Mayne only a couple of months ago and it has had issues. Thanks to the store manager for replacing the computer so I could complete an assignment deadline.
My husband and I bought a brand-new washing machine from Joyce Mayne just over 2 weeks ago (after shopping around between Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Joyce Mayne at Domain Central) and settled on Joyce Mayne as we were guaranteed REPLACEMENT rather than REPAIRS if the machine is defective or faulty. This was extra peace of mind, and paying that little bit more for replacement was what won us over.
Not even a week and a half later, the washing machine is not working. We contact Joyce Mayne and are told they will look at doing repairs, whi...
Read morech could be scheduled anytime in the next week, leaving us without a washing machine for this whole time. After a full day of going back and forth and arguing that a brand new machine shouldn’t be faulty, we basically get told to wait and they’ll see what they can do. Waiting a day may not seem like a lot to some, but it is a long and stressful time when you don’t know what they’re going to do, and if you’ll be without a washing machine for potentially a week or more. On the second morning, after contacting Joyce Mayne again for an update we are told they are going to replace with a new machine, ONLY because they’ve been told that getting parts to do repairs will take too long, not because we received a defective brand new washing machine. This is absolutely ridiculous and just a joke to us – bottom line, you buy brand new, you expect brand new and working! We have since found out that the guarantee of Product Care Replacement is after a 2 year period… so it doesn’t matter if you’ve just bought a brand new item, if they can repair, they will. This was something that was conveniently left out on the date of purchase too! It’s especially not right or fair that the strongest point of the sales pitch was the replacement guarantee. To add insult to injury, we were told the replacement machine was to be delivered on Saturday morning first up (before 10am). We changed our whole morning around to suit this and after no delivery before midday, we called and were told they had no notes to suggest this, and no idea when it would be delivered!!! Just another nail in their coffin! We get told they will call half hour before and even then, cannot give us an arrival time or try to redeem themselves and deliver our machine right away. So here we are again, changing our afternoon plans to suit Joyce Mayne. They called at 2:30pm to say they were half hour away but delivered our washing machine at 3.30pm. Go figure! No sorry no nothing - it’s contractors that do the delivery, absolving Joyce Mayne of any responsibility. Very unhappy customers to say the least. I am also 7.5 months pregnant and having to deal with this whilst my husband was away for work.. well in all honesty, I should never even have had to deal with it – they should have replaced on the first word being that it was only purchased days before AND brand-new; common sense is supposed to prevail. I’m sure Joyce Mayne wouldn’t put up with this either if they were in my shoes! If they could have just been straight with us from the start and apologised maybe we’d feel differently – it’s all just been lies. We have shopped at Joyce Mayne for over 5 years and have a household full of Joyce Mayne items but no more, we are so disgusted with the service and lack of professionalism that was displayed… and just basic common sense and decency. We hope everyone will keep this in mind before shopping at Joyce Mayne Domain.Related Articles
I am not an easy customer, I'm quite demanding and hard to please. I was looking for a washing machine and I've experienced the best customer service ever by Dan, the Manager, and his team.

I really like shopping at Joyce Mayne South Nowra. I find it an easy shop to find products, and the staff are always helpful. If they don't have what you want in stock they are always happy to order it in for you. And buying online and picking it up from their warehouse is so easy. I recently bought a freezer online and was able to pick it up within a few hours at the warehouse. There are always enough parking spaces as well

I needed an extra fridge for the festive season and Joyce Mayne at Maroochydore provided me with fantastic service (Daniel Clarke) and a great price on a 120l Hisense bar fridge...
I would recommend this store for service and value for money.
My Son went to Joyce Maine Garbutt to buy a 144hz monitor. That was his 1 requirement. Not being a computer expert he trusted the salesman who sold him an LG 32MP58HQ which IS NOT 144hz! Due to no recordings of the sale I can not prove anything but My Son was clear! 144hz. The 32MP58HQ is only 60hz. Do not trust sales people at Joyce Maine Garbutt!!
Quality of the monitor is actually great but NOT WHAT MY SON ASKED FOR!
