Zero customer service
If I'm going to be ignored for ten minutes and then perfunctorily acknowledged as they went past me to answer the phone, I might as well buy online.
Went into Joyce mayne Maroochydore to buy a laptop and they only had one more available which happened to be in the back. After purchasing and returning home I turned it on and it had been set up and had a password and everything. Took it back and was told to my face it would take 2 days max to receive a new one but now they are saying it will take a week. The staff member that I returned it to was extremely rude.
do not trust
appear friendly but lie directly to your face and laugh when caught out whilst trying to continue their lies. They don't price match either so be prepared to pay top dollar

Pathetic customer srevice
Ordered a freezer online to be delivered. Heard nothing for two days, rang to complain and was told that there was non in stock locally and it could take a while. Heard nothing for another week - rang again and was told that there is no stock in Australia and they could not provide an ETA when this may change. I would not have ordered this in the first place if the website had have said out of stock. They have charged my CC too. TERRIBLE! Do not deal with this company!
worst customer service EVER!!!
Bought a queen mattress. We sank into it during the night. The indentations stayed in the mattress all day. Went back to the store to ask what we could do about it and they were so rude I ended up in tears. Absolutely useless. I have never set foot in their store since.
Spent $2000 On Order For Dishwasher And Washing Machine Then They Forgot About It.
Ordered a dishwasher and washing machine from [name removed] at Joyce Mayne Warrawong paid for it and was told they would ring me the next day. A week later they forgot about the order and now claim that it will be delivered next Tuesday. What has happened to good service. Last time I bought from Joyce Mayne unless they are nearly giving it away. Nov 11 - went back looking for a Epson printer, they were $100 cheaper than everyone else, brought it home.
Sales staff need training in AV
Sales staff sold me wrong equipment for what I required. Then found the correct equipment.
Returned to Joyce Mayne for a refund they hit me with in store credit and not a refund. Well if your salesman had a clue and knowledge I wouldn't have purchased this product so therefore should be granted a refund. Manager obviously has no regard for customer service just pointed at a sign by front counter. Some ridiculous indoor policy procedure about no refunds. Then ranted about policy and procedures. Then once I found something at counter he wanted to carry on with argument. I would strongly suggest [name removed] you find a new career as customer service isn't a strong point of yours

We purchased a Toshiba lap top, with extended warranty. 14 days later with regular intemitten use we opened it and a crack had appeared at the top right hand corner of the screen which quickly spread. The lap top was never dropped and was only opened for normal usage approx 20 times in the 2 week period. No excessive force was used to open the screen , a lap top should withstand normal usage without screen cracking. Joyce Mayne refused to cover their warranty obligations stating it was a physical break .The staff at the Chancellor Park stor...e where we purchased the lap top were very unhelpful, condescending andrefused to accept responsibility for selling an inferior product. The product has no external damage. After 2 weeks of normal wear and usage a crack should not appear on the screen of a laptop this is obviously an inferior quality product we were sold. Other comparable retailers would back up their products and honor their warranty obligations by providing a replacement or a refund without question.and would consider customer satisfaction as a main objective.

Item stopped working within 12 months. Joyce Mayne would not replace or even arrange repair.
Don't buy from them!

Thanks a lot Joyce Mayne Townsville for nothing. A few years ago our family purchased an expensive coffee machine and on top of this purchased what we were informed by the sales rep at the time was a 'new for old replacement extended warranty' . Well, the coffee machine goes U/S the other day, we call Joyce Mayne Townsville who inform us the policy is only for repair. So today we finally speak to a manager who also informs us the same saying ' that staff member was wrong and no longer works here' and that the warranty extra cost is still cheape...r than having to pay for repairs ourselves !!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG. There is a thing called principle here that JM Tsv overlooking . Over the years our family has purchased $000's worth of goods from them......so they've just lost a customer for life. We hope they are happy !!!!

I visited Joyce Mayne last week with all intention of buying blender and fitbit or smilliar. Firstly I asked a lady about the blenders they had on sale the differences etc. She wasnt really listening as she got me the one i wasnt interested in said her daugters had it for years and loved it, i said i wasnt a fan of the layout as it wouldnt suit sitting on our kitchen bench, however the lady picked up a boxed one wrote something on the barcode and handed it to me asking if there was anything else she could help with? Being slightly confussed by ...what just happened I said i want to know about the fitbit and other finess watches, she said she couldnt halp me and to goto the sporting section... which there is not one of. Anyway after hunting around Ifound them YAY i really wanted a fitbit flex howver was unsure of its overall functions and if it would suit my needs after 5mins of waiting around staff serving other people (it was quite busy) a young girl asked "your right" (stroking her side fringe constantly sorry this comment doesnt need to be here really however for the whole time i was with her this was happening continusly and the obnocshous open mouth gum chewing it really goton my nerves) however the iceing on the cake was when i asked the difference between the fitbit flex and another watch she repetably said "fitbits are cool you can invite your friends to join and stuff you know" I explained i didnt know and that i was after the functions it performed/tracked, again was told i could verse friends. The result i didnt purchase anything there, i will not be returnig to that store and I will do research before i go in, it was a spare of the moment thing i new i wanted and i was travelling past. However I will recommend Joyce Mayne Sippy Downs Ive been there many times made many purchases and always get more information then i expect when asking the staff there questions! There is another store at Sippy Downs, Lots of undercover Parking Lack of knowledgable, helpful, friendly staff
