I am trying to descale my machine and I can not find the 'de scale' any where The manual is not clear at all.
I removed the filter. filter setting was changed to 'No'
. go back to ready, press hold the maintenance button and it does not work. So I have the tank prepared with the three tablets ready to go and I can not complete the process.

I buy mine from grocery store in Australia called woolworths. It's not jura descaler just an all purpose coffee machine descaler

I have a ENA micro 9 and the cover close message will not self correct even when all covers are closed.

Hi Wendy, Thank you for your question.

The "Close Cover" display message means that the aroma preservation cover for the bean container is not fitted or not fitted correctly. If the cover appears closed it may be that the cover is damaged as there is a part of the cover which slots into the machine which alerts the machine that cover has been inserted.

how do I manually de-scale Ena3. I follow the instruction manual but the de-scale function does not appear??

Hi Tom, Please see instructions below:

When the display shows READY, press and hold the maintenance button until RINSE appears on the display. Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme step. RINSE appears on the display. Now turn the Rotary Switch until DE-SCALE is displayed. Press the Rotary Switch. EMPTY TRAY appears on the display. Now follow the instructions on the display.

If DE-SCALING remains displayed for a long time, this means the descaling programme was started with too much liquid or water was topped up before the water tank was empty.
Our tip: Restart the descaling programme with 0.5 l water. All the water in the water tank is sucked out during the programme. Please do not replenish water until the display prompts you to do so.

If DE-SCALE is displayed even though the CLARIS filter cartridge is inserted, this means the filter was not activated in programming mode. Our tip: Remove the filter and run the descaling programme. Then insert a new filter and activate it in programming mode.

Depend how many shots in each mug. I have 3 shots in my mug & have had 620 mugs of Coffee in 18 months. Just make sure keep the milk line clean.

Hello... Our machine (Jura ENA 9) is a few years old. Nowadays, when we want to make a coffee, it's just steaming a lot and giving little coffee.
The cappuccino still works, but the machine steams a lot when we turn it on.
I was wondering if you could tell me which seal to replace?
Cause we don't want to get rid of the machine, we love our Jura coffee...

Hi Glen, Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, on this particular model you can't check the cup count on the machine yourself. If would need to be plugged in via one of our service centres to run the diagnostics on the machine to obtain this information. Let me know if I can assist with anything else. Have a lovely day. Thank you for your help, I’m thinking of upgrading so will be having a service on my ENA9 Micro, would the cup count be available if it’s done a a jura crevice centre? And secondly where is the nearest Jura service centre to the Gold Coast in Queensland

Hi Glen, depending on the age of your machine we offer a trade in discount on machines. You wouldn't need to get it fixed either!! The cup count and all the diagnostics are certainly made available to you through our JURA service centres. The closest one to you though is in Brisbane, Enoggera. Took the cover off my Jura ENA 3 to clean the inside. Put it back together and now when I turn it on it says heating for a couple seconds then goes blank like it’s completely dead. Any ideas?

Figured it out, the power button was stuck inside the top cover hole, I re-aligned it so it moved freely and the problem was solved. Thanks!

I have a Jura ENA 5, she's been perfect for 10 years! Lately, it constantly needs us to open and close the tap. Before every shot. Is there anything I can do?

We've done filter and blue white tab maintenance pretty consistently.

Ena5 trapped in an open tap/close tap system filling loop. The pump makes no sound work the tap open or closed. I’ve checked all electric panel connections and they’re fine. Help!

My Ena9 the coffee grounds will not dispose right inside the coffee ground container. Coffee grounds ends up on the outside at the back of the container. No error message showing on display. Please assist

My Jura Ena9 is giving me empty grounds error. I have tried the method where you insert the tray without founds container but it didn’t help. One more bit of information that when I pull out the tray, it does not give me missing tray error, it just keeps stuck at empty grounds error, please help!

Hello. We have Jura Ena Micro 9. The machine reported Error 8 and could not be turned on. I cleaned the entire brewing unit, replaced the seals and used silicone. The machine turned on, the water was flowing, but it still says "close the cover". I also tried to attach a magnet, as I read here on the web. He's still reporting it. Please advise me? Hi, How do I access the menu to see how many coffees my Jura Ena 5 has made over its lifetime?

Hi Yetiboy, this function is only available on some models - unfortunately the ENA 5 is not one of them. The only way to see how many coffees your machine has made is to bring it to a JURA authorised service centre where a technician can extract the coffee machine's data, including how many cups it's made over it's lifetime. Actually it is available on the ENA 5 as I have checked it before, just wish I could remember the procedure, last time I checked a few years ago it had made over 17500 coffee's

hi. my ena micro 9 has started to do this. When I start the clean ,after inserting the tablet it stays on add tablet sign and won't start the clean. Any advice? also the close lid sign is on. my cover is broken for months now but its working fine with cart in the hole.

Sounds like the switch that senses whether or not the ground coffee flap is open or closed is sticking or broken?

Yes. Gore some reason The magnet on The lid has gone dead. Solution was a fridge magnet on top of The machine.
