Wrong fittings backed, but no response from the store after 2 emails and waiting for a week
Received cabinets assembled with wrong hinges. Sent an enquiry through their website and an email, but no response how to solve the problem. Still have their "Canberra" cabinet that supposed to be with 4 doors only with 3 doors.
My order number is 2700 in case the owner would be so kind and could finally respond to me
I guess I should have been cautious of the company that has no phone number only contact is online enquiry or email were you receive your order, but read some very good reviews.

TV Unit and service met expectations
I have just taken delivery of and assembled a 'Melbourne' TV unit from Just Modern Furniture. There are mixed reviews on this site but my experience was a positive one.
Online purchase -- no problem, charged as expected. I am happy to show proof of purchase if required for this review so that gives readers confidence it's a genuine review.
Delivery -- I opted for a 3 month delivery to secure the discount offered. The product was delivered as expected without me even chasing up JMF, they emailed me to say it was despatched before I asked....Assembly -- I'm no DIY expert so it did take me several hours. No parts were missing. No parts damaged and it assembled well although getting the drawers together, into place and sliding smoothly was tricky. Removing the protective vinyl on the outer surfaces is really fiddly because its hard to find edges to start peeling but I am sure this is what keeps the surface looking good. Value for Money -- The finished product is as per the site photos, good high gloss white finish and the build quality is ok. I think these units on the high street are overpriced for what the material actually is but given I could get an exact custom fit for my room it justified the price.

A big mistake
Honestly, this was the worst experience buying an item online. Not only is there a black mark in the gloss finish under the high gloss coating, the back piece wasn't cut to the correct size, we were missing screws, the wrong sticker on one of the doors. We needed up asking a chippy to come and re-cut the back piece so it fitted. Now both my partner are very able to put together furniture, we've done this many times without difficulties like this. Sorry but it is terrible and we are so disappointed that we spent all this money, waited so long (...weeks over the expected delivery date). When I sent this feedback over a year ago... I never had any response from the company. We paid $899.00. We could have gone to Freedom or any store, paid a couple of hundred more (at most) and had a piece of furniture that was good. A year on, out TV unit has the same black mark, the hinges are working okay, but the push magnet is broken. The 2 center draws don't fit very well, so you have to open the top one so you can open the bottom one. I can't help but think the positive comments are fake, because when I looked further into it after we had all these issues, I couldn't find a happy customer. The biggest issue being no customer service after payment. After fully renovating and furnishing our house, we always say, the only thing we got ripped off on was that unit.
Good Quality Great price!
After spending weeks looking in stores for a TV Unit & not finding what we wanted. Found Just Modern Furniture online. Ordered the 2.4 m Canberra Unit in White Matt. Arrived 4 weeks later. My husband didn't find it difficult too assemble thankfully. One of the front door panels was slightly damaged. Emailed Michael & he responded straight away & we had a replacement door in a week. No hassle!
So we are very happy & paid half the price we thought we would have to!
So i can highly recommend this Aussie Company from my experience.

It's very hard to give an opinion as I don't think that these people really care what you think of them or their product,
and if you give a negative one there not going to listen or answer as there uncontactable I sent several emails re my order and tried to phone them many times but no reply then I got a email telling me that my order was ready for shipment but it took several more days untill they sent another that it had been shipped with a traking No which was useless as all that did was tell you that it had been shipped. ...

Good looking unit and good service recovery
After a rocky start and some delays, I received my TV unit. The service improved and turned out to be really good. The unit is great, exactly as described and pictured and of good workmanship. I would buy from them again.
Ready to assemble furniture is likely to be incomplete and with missing parts. You may need to employ a cabinet maker to get the article completed. There is no customer service after you pay for the goods.
Questions & Answers
I have been trying to contact Just Modern Furniture regarding my order but have received no replies to my emails.
There is no phone number to ring so it is very frustrating as it appears my order is ready to be shipped but I have been given no details about how to make payment and allow shipping to be done.
Would appreciate any advice as to how to make contact to finalise delivery of my order. (Order No # An order you recently placed on our website has had its status changed. The status of order #1198 is now Awaiting Shipment).
