Was a bit of a mess, but they did try to fix.
Ordered a TV Cabinet. Initially took over 4 weeks to arrive. When it did arrive holes were drilled in the wrong places, screws were missing, and the instructions were fairly terrible. JMF did contact us to apologize and offered $100 partial refund. We did get replacement boards eventually but we ended up having to get a chippy to trim back some of the panels and even when it was put together there were visible gaps, the doors didn't close cleanly and there was a slight lean. Mounting was a nightmare.
The final finish was very cheap looking a...nd overall we didn't think we got what we paid for. The unit was very weakly held against the backplate (which was bolted to the wall) by a number of small screws and eventually fell off after a small amount of weight was put on top of it. Have since replaced it with a better unit. Good service but was not happy with the quality of the item nor the time it took to arrive.

TV Unit and service met expectations
I have just taken delivery of and assembled a 'Melbourne' TV unit from Just Modern Furniture. There are mixed reviews on this site but my experience was a positive one.
Online purchase -- no problem, charged as expected. I am happy to show proof of purchase if required for this review so that gives readers confidence it's a genuine review.
Delivery -- I opted for a 3 month delivery to secure the discount offered. The product was delivered as expected without me even chasing up JMF, they emailed me to say it was despatched before I asked....Assembly -- I'm no DIY expert so it did take me several hours. No parts were missing. No parts damaged and it assembled well although getting the drawers together, into place and sliding smoothly was tricky. Removing the protective vinyl on the outer surfaces is really fiddly because its hard to find edges to start peeling but I am sure this is what keeps the surface looking good. Value for Money -- The finished product is as per the site photos, good high gloss white finish and the build quality is ok. I think these units on the high street are overpriced for what the material actually is but given I could get an exact custom fit for my room it justified the price.

After spending weeks looking in stores for a TV Unit & not finding what we wanted. Found Just Modern Furniture online. Ordered the 2.4 m Canberra Unit in White Matt. Arrived 4 weeks later. My husband didn't find it difficult too assemble thankfully. One of the front door panels was slightly damaged. Emailed Michael & he responded straight away & we had a replacement door in a week. No hassle!
So we are very happy & paid half the price we thought we would have to!
So i can highly recommend this Aussie Company from my experience.

Good looking unit and good service recovery
After a rocky start and some delays, I received my TV unit. The service improved and turned out to be really good. The unit is great, exactly as described and pictured and of good workmanship. I would buy from them again.

Could not assemble the product due to missing parts!
I just had a similar experience with this company. A total of four parts (comprising of two shelves and two dividers) were missing from the two packages I received from them. The sad part is that after failing to completely assemble the product, I just realized there was no contact number published on their website (except for the 1300 number that has already been disconnected) when I was looking for ways to contact the company. I tried posting messages on their website's internal messaging facility and also via their firstname.lastname@example.org...om.au email address but have not received a word from them yet. Update: A representative from Just Modern Furniture emailed me within the same day that I wrote the above review and was told that they had been trying to contact me via the mobile number I provided in my email (which at that time had not been activated yet) but could not get through so that I admit was a shortcoming on my part. After a few exchange of emails, I agreed to the offer of a free return of the product and full refund of payment. That part was coordinated smoothly and completed well, as they arranged for a transport service to pick-up the product from our place and my payment has now been refunded back to my account. Not the ending I had hoped for but nonetheless, I was happy by the way in which the transaction has concluded.

I have been trying to contact Just Modern Furniture regarding my order but have received no replies to my emails.
There is no phone number to ring so it is very frustrating as it appears my order is ready to be shipped but I have been given no details about how to make payment and allow shipping to be done.
Would appreciate any advice as to how to make contact to finalise delivery of my order. (Order No # An order you recently placed on our website has had its status changed. The status of order #1198 is now Awaiting Shipment).
