I recently contacted JustOvens Melbourne to clean our BBQ, expecting a professional service based on their photos and Facebook presence. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The technician arrived in a standard domestic car with what appeared to be basic, off the shelf cleaning products, nothing like the specialised equipment you would expect from a professional service. He then asked to use our laundry, which immediately felt intrusive and inappropriate.

Throughout the process, grease and debris were spread across my home. Grease scrapings were dragged over the tiles, benches, and floor, leaving a significant mess. Although he said he would clean up, he did not have his own equipment, no vacuum, no proper cleaning tool and instead used my Dyson vacuum, which was left coated in grease.

After the job, I was left with grease throughout the laundry, along the floor leading to the alfresco area, inside the sink, and even on the fronts of cupboards. There were also grease flakes lodged in hard to reach areas between cabinetry. What should have been a convenient service turned into a much larger and frustrating cleanup task for me.

A professional BBQ cleaning service should arrive fully equipped, contain the mess, and leave the space clean, not rely on the customer’s home, tools, and time to complete the job.

I would not recommend using this company for BBQ cleaning.
