WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER JVC PRODUCT AGAIN DUE TO THEIR LACK OF INTEREST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE - THEY JUST SIMPLY FOBB YOU OFF. JVC USA were taken to court in a class action over the Digital Video camcorders over known faults & it was settled however because it was settled out of court no info is available:( JVC DV camcorders in general aren't very good in hot or cold conditions (I only find this out after purchase) it will go into safemode & has lens cap issues & condensation probs, not great at all! Very tempremental in my opinion & lots of other peoples (found on the net).
Small compact unit, not too complicated, light in weight, looks great
Not great in humid or cold conditions, battery doesn't last very long unit gets very hot
