This is my 4th JVC camera, and the second HDD one from them, and they have come a long way in 12 months. The quality is excellent, and it comes with cut-down versions of Power Producer & Power Director so you can create your own DVD's without needing to buy anything else.

Overall its a great video camera
Nice weight, easy to use, unreal screen, excellent sound, AV in plus the cable is included
No low-light Light, just a flash, the menu system is a little hard to fine some items, the standard battery is 1hr but for the price of the camera, a larger one woulnd be nice. It uses its own files which not all software likes to import

Overall a high quality product and well worth the money. If you want a affordable product with a great build design and feature packed all in one device, This is for you. Highly recommended.
Great camera to purchse. The first thing about it was the affordable price. At the time it was on special at Harvey Norman and the features is what helped make my decision. This camera has such smooth recording abilities and the frame rate of the recording is mind blowing, it is super smooth with high clarity. JVC is my recommended brand over the others, their unique build and design is unbeatable. Very happy with the 2mb still images it takes.

Finnaly a tiny DV cam that isnt a toy like the rest. Its a must for anyone wishing to make quality home videos, for the consumer it may even be too sophisticated but nevertheless a great introduction to real digital camcorder technology...
Great little package with ephesis on the requirements brought forth by professional camera operators, the large aperture, HD quality and 3 chip pickup and large hard drive capacity for storage technology makes it the standard for all pocket cams available today. The price is slightly high but compared to other brands well worth it.
All though they are pioneers in innovation JVC isnt regarded for reliable long lasting equipment
