A 'Real' Tech Store Like JW With Real People Is Still The Better Option.
We buy all of our tech needs through JW at Castle Hill. Years ago we decided to have JW our one-stop shop to save any hassles dealing with overseas tech companies or even far-flung Aussie 'online-only' retailers of various quality or commitment to customers - I've seen them all! It has paid off very well for us. Our latest issue with an expensive Corsair keyboard is a good case in point. Rather than deal with Corsair (a logistical nightmare overseas and shipping nightmares) we simply spoke with our local JW store from whom we bought. They took ...care of the claim from start to finish. Andre and Robert were our contacts and I was very happy with the updates, assistance and resolution. I had dealt with Corsair years ago for memory modules/RAM warranty and although they honoured the lifetime warranty just fine, dealing with them overseas by email was unwieldy to say the least. Knowing JW Computers is local and has my back is why I will continue to buy from them. Their prices are quite competitive and they generally have very good stock levels too. Highly recommended!

I forced to accept an unfair treatment from JW
My HP Envy x360 laptop unable to recognise Simplecom CH381 USB 3.1 Type C (USB-C) 4 Port Hub. The store refused to return. It is a disappointing experience. I was forced to have the 1 sided 'conclusion'.

When I had my new system delivered the graphics card was DOA. The service team sent me a return voucher for the card, tested the faulty product and returned a replacement swiftly.

Do you replace a PC Power Supply to a new one?
Yes, we can replace a Power Supply Unit (PSU) for you. The cost of replacing a PSU with basic cable management is $65, and needs to be booked in at your nearest store.
I bought a Radeon 5700XT last week from Blacktown store but now have changed my mind to buy a Nvidia 2700 Super instead.
How do i process the return? Do I just take the item to the store or do I need to do it online?
I tried calling the store yesterday and today but no one is picking up.
You'd have to return the product in it's original packaging with all contents, undamaged, to the store. From there, upon inspection, the return will be processed with a 15% restocking fee as it is a change of mind return.
Apologies that you weren't able to get through on the phones; we have multiple lines ringing consecutively, and it is difficult to attend to every call whilst the stores are busy. However, we are implementing a new phone system which will assist with this matter.
