Extremely unhappy with the delivery process, it has been a nightmare!
It has been around a month since I have ordered a laptop, still haven't received it. The courier service (Aramex) they have used to deliver my laptop kept on lying about the fact that they were being unable to deliver because there was no one home. Both me and my wife are working from home and no one from the Aramex rang the bell or gave a call on the days they claimed to have tried to make the delivery. I have spoken to both Aramex and JW Computers customer service multiple times to resolve this issue and still nothing is happening. Each time ...I talk to the customer service they have no idea about the previous conversation that I had as someone new picks up the phone and they don't bother to keep a note of the conversation in their system. Extremely unhappy, they have lost a customer.

Ordered 21/12, Customer Service Team Lied About Dispatching
I would upload a product picture, but I don't have the product in my hands yet to even be able to upload one. On 21/12/2020 I ordered a Creative Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 USB Sound Card from JW Computers, via Kogan's Seller Marketplace, along with a set of speakers from another seller. The speakers arrived from the other company on 28/12, but my JW Computers order was still marked as not having been sent. I contacted their customer service team and asked them where my item was, 24 hours later on 29/12 they responded to me telling me that ...they had been closed over the xmas break and as such my item had not been sent yet, but that it was now ready for dispatching and I should have tracking information within 24 hours. That was pretty annoying, considering nothing during the order process let on that they had no intention of dispatching anything ordered before xmas until after xmas, but I was willing to let it go because they said it was shipping and I expected it not to be delivered until 28/12 anyway like the other one was due to xmas day/boxing day holidays. 2 days later, I still had not received any tracking information, so I emailed them back asking for it, pointing out it was now 10 days since I had paid for the item. They emailed me at 11AM NSW time with the tracking number. That tracking number shows that they lied to me via email on 29/12 and they only shipped my item 30 minutes after they emailed me back on 31/12 to give me the tracking number (proof of this lie attached in pictures). As of today, COB 06/01/2021, I still do not have the item that they were paid for 17 days ago. After having been lied to and messed around, my opinion of this company could not be lower. EDIT: As of COB 07/01/2021, I have finally received the item, which was packed incredibly poorly and arrived with a roughness/damage tear in the bubble wrap bag it was sent in. Luckily it doesn't seem to have been damaged.
Long delivery time, not worth the wait.
Placed my order on 26/12/2020 as it would only take 5-7 business days to deliver. Called a week and a half later only to be told that they are ordering it to their warehouse which will take 5-7 days, once JW has it, they will ship it out to me which will be another 5-7 days. It's gone from 5-7 business days to potentially a 4 week farce. Seems other reviewers who ordered on Boxing day received their product promptly.
Disappointing, not worth the wait. If I knew it would take this long I wouldn't have bothered & won't be ordering anything from them again.
Left in an unsafe spot
Item is in good condition, however the item was not left in a safe place. This is not something that you would want when ordering expensive items such as computer parts. Furthermore, the box is not subtle, as the box itself was a recycled box with Sony branding all over it (the item was not a sony product btw). With so much branding and visible to bystanders, it is extremely concerning
7+ days to process?
I was buying some PC parts on Kogan, and some of the parts the seller was JW computers. I ordered on 29th of November and all other parts have been delivered, except the ones sold by JW. I have emailed and have had no response...why is it that it takes a week and (almost) a half just to process payment?. In this time other sellers have processed and delivered. You better not blame covid-19 for the delay as all your competitors have done much better! Even during a pandemic!
So definitely making sure i don't buy from you again.
Low Profile GFX Card without Low Profile Bracket = USELESS PURCHASE!!
I purchased a low profile gfx card that has no low profile bracket making the purchase pointless.
Delivery was quick however it was pricey.
Technicians didn't follow the work instruction. Built machine wrong.
Despite the work ticket being correct, the techs installed Win on the wrong drive. Didn't check. No quality control. I asked at the store during pickup if there was anything different in the build compared to the ticket. They said there wasn't. Started installing applications and configuring, then found out there was a space issue on primary drive. Check the config and found it was wrong. Call the store to confirm and they apologised and offered to correct it but I have to drive back in with the machine and drop it off, then return later to pickup again. Hours of wasted time.

Will not be buying from them again.
Ordered a refurbished laptop from them Feb 2019. Had problems with it in the first 3 months and contacted them. Was told to reinstall Windows to try and fix problems- i couldn’t be bothered with this as I had downloaded my games and set it up already ( I expected a laptop I had paid good money for not to break in the first couple of months). I didn’t get back to them letting them know what I ended up doing but there was no follow up from customer care. I had cut back on playing games in about July 2019 and the problem was bearable while watchin...g Netflix. Started playing games again this year(Around May)- still the same problems. Got fed up with the problem mid end of July/start of August, took it to local PC tech to get fixed ( I couldn’t be bothered fiddling with a product that I had paid to be in working order) find out that some of the hardware if fried and was the problem. Customer care didn’t get back to me, I have had to call them every single time to get an update. Unfortunately due to my leaving getting it fixed they have told me warranty has expired and I will have to take it up with the manufacturer. Although the guy I spoke to on the phone today was nice and understanding (name was Jason), I Will never be buying anything off them again. Lesson also learnt to myself to getting onto issues early.

Placed an order 4 days ago... they took payment but haven't dispatched.
Their website has supposedely been recently updated. Can't even cancel the order. Had to call to cancel, no explanation for the delay. Asked for a refund.
This was my first time ever using JW. Won't be attempting to use them again.
They obviously don't need the business - which is a bit of a suprise given the current climate.
Negative star if I could
Have ordered 2 parts off them through Kogan because I was able to use my points for the order. Did not realised that order coming from them will be fulfilled for the period of "3 - 7 days". Had to call them multiple times for an update. First update, 1 part was coming from a different store. Second update (yesterday), was advised that tracking number will be provided end of business yesterday or early today, no tracking number last night and had to call them again for an update. Just received tracking number @14:32 and saying it is on it's way....7 days to process 2 items? What makes it really frustrating is that they took their time to fulfil or process the order. Your company should not make COVID-19 as an excuse to provide quality service as the components that I have ordered through your company were the very first on my list and after a day or 2, the rest of the components needed to assemble a PC were ordered through different providers, a couple came from NSW. 1 item I have paid express shipping, the others just normal or free shipping. Most of those components have arrived 2 days ago, yesterday and 1 today. And guess what I only need 2 more components to assemble our pc and unfortunately it was ordered through your company. Now, since I am from Melbourne and there is a good chance that we can go on a stage 4 lockdown, it is uncertain as to what it means? Will everything get suspended? Will I receive those parts next week? Who knows? Thanks for fulfilling the order for the period of "3 - 7 days". I am never dealing with your company again, consumers you had been warned. Not even an apology is going to cut it, extremely disappointed with your service. Order placed on 10/07 through Kogan.
Uncommunicative and long processing times.
Ordered an item that was ‘in stock’ and waited for the order to be shipped. Checked a week later and the order had only just been created, and sent an email asking what had happened. They said that new stock was going to arrive at the end of the week! It didn’t and I waited for another week until I had to ask them again - then my order was finally processed.
Stock wasn’t accurate and lack of communication about my order, despite them telling me they’d keep me updated.
Delivery hasn’t even come at all and it’s been 3 weeks.
Worst online delivery
Their online delivery system is a joke. In stock items which are supposed to be delivered within 2-3 business days, take almost a week to be shipped between few suburbs. Also you do not get any notification if your delivery is delayed. It will remain open with the status “created” for 2-3 days and you have to call back, only to be told that it will take few more days. Thanks for ruining my weekend, a mistake is a learning. I do understand the current Covid19 situation. However my issue is with clarity. Everyday I’m being told it will get deliv...ered tomorrow. The more I try to get it acknowledged, the more it gets delayed. Also, I’ve been assigned one of the worst couriers in google reviews history - Fastway. What an ironic name for a courier with an overall 1 star rating. I didn’t want to mention it in my initial review, but I do strongly feel I should’ve gone for an alternative option in JB-Hi Fi. It may have costed me more but atleast it would’ve saved me some time and all this hassle. I know it’s unfair to compare any business with the level of JB-Hi Fi, but I bet even if I made an order today with them, it will get delivered way before my current order.

No customer service STAY AWAY!
Customer service is non-existent. I tried to contact the store on multiple occasions via phone, email, and left numerous messages. I am still waiting for a response. Every time I try to make contact over the phone it just rings out. Is it really that hard to return a phone call or to respond to an email? They have no issues processing your payment at breakneck speed. If i could give zero stars I would. You are better off spending your money at one of their competitors who value their customers.
Ordered online, no update of the service online, no one answers the phone, no one answers online enquires. Patheric. its amazing how other people are getting their gear, and I cant even get someone to answer the phone. absolute joke

My HP Envy x360 laptop unable to recognise Simplecom CH381 USB 3.1 Type C (USB-C) 4 Port Hub. The store refused to return. It is a disappointing experience. I was forced to have the 1 sided 'conclusion'.

Do you replace a PC Power Supply to a new one?
Yes, we can replace a Power Supply Unit (PSU) for you. The cost of replacing a PSU with basic cable management is $65, and needs to be booked in at your nearest store.
I bought a Radeon 5700XT last week from Blacktown store but now have changed my mind to buy a Nvidia 2700 Super instead.
How do i process the return? Do I just take the item to the store or do I need to do it online?
I tried calling the store yesterday and today but no one is picking up.
You'd have to return the product in it's original packaging with all contents, undamaged, to the store. From there, upon inspection, the return will be processed with a 15% restocking fee as it is a change of mind return.
Apologies that you weren't able to get through on the phones; we have multiple lines ringing consecutively, and it is difficult to attend to every call whilst the stores are busy. However, we are implementing a new phone system which will assist with this matter.
I would like to purchase a Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce RTX2080ti but prices are all over the place. Of course it has to be new. Can anyone help me out?
