Good price, quick dispatch, overcharged for shipping and no email reply
Can't fault everything up until the package was sent...I paid $18 extra for "courier" shipping only for it to be sent regular parcel post with Aus post. I replied to the email as instructed and have not received a reply within 72 hours as to why I was overcharged or why the item was not sent via courier.
I have placed my order 5 days ago and still processing. Their staff told me will notify me when the item arrive from partner warehouse. So basically they source products from the others.
Item arrived quickly.
Component itself is working and appears undamaged.
Component (including original box) cost $1099.
Component was sent packed in its original box with no additional surrounding box.
Component was wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap. 2 layers. That is all. Why not put it in a larger box with several layers of bubble wrap inside to provide ample buffer?
Outer shell component box was severely dinted. Inner box was also very creased and dinted and damaged. I was planning on keeping the box as a collectors item.
Also a damag...
Delivery courier was bad
Everything from JW was fine, but CouriersPlease the courier company wasn't. Was quoted ETA of 25/11 item only arrived on 2/12. Contacted them on 30/11 to find out where my item was, response was great within 24 hours, was told they'll contact the driver and find out if they've seen my parcel. Also asked for more details of what my parcel was and will be back in touch within 24 hours. Never heard back from them at all after more than 24 hours. So i emailed them again, and was told this is now with internal department and please allow 24 hours for them to look into this and they will be back in touch. Never heard back from them again, but my monitor was delivered the very next morning.
"They had us in the first half not gonna lie"
Well I can't speak for the entirety of the company seeing as though 9/10 people are happy with it, I just happen to be the 1. I just don't understand why when I went to purchase my graphics card for my computer that the item i was looking at said "In Stock" then I bought it and money was taken out of my account, then I was waiting until Monday or Tuesday to hopefully get an email that it was being shipped or processed and I received an email saying that "our supplier said it was not in stock and now have to wait 3-5 days until the money comes back." I just am a little let down that i had to wait 4 days to be told "yeah look we actually don't have it" when the website told me you guys had it in stock.
very bad customer service they managed to put the part in thats all they did right i had to go back 3 times and call them a bunch of time with no reply back from them. goto scorptec
Worst Delivery Service
This has got to be one of the worst delivery services in history, it took 2 weeks to deliver my parcel when i couldve got it in 2 days, Jw computers, change your delivery service to Australia Post instead of letting us deal with Fastway which they dont live up to the name, im getting a refund because i got my ssd way before they could deliver to me so never ordering from this service again.
Fastway is a poor choice
First time order and it took over a week to deliver within sydney metro. The supposedly new item has arrived but did not have any signs of sealing. Definately been opened before and packed back. The store needs to reconsider offeing Fastway as a shipping option, even if it is a free delivery, look at their reviews since 2009
Good price in comparison to other offers. Service from purchasing to dispatch prompt and accurate. Unfortunately, tracking of the parcel is inaccurate and stressful due to wrong tracking number and message that goods were delivered. Had to call Fastway to find out where is the parcel that 'has been delivered' and got info that has been delivered in Queensland!? Checked the tracking number on the original invoice and found that is not matching one in the delivery message. Checked again with Fastway tracking and the parcel is still in transit from Sydney depot since 3rd October.

The automated system you have has much to be desired. I ordered 2 parts online using store credit, it took 2 days for the system to acknowledge payment, even though it was store credit, never ordering with you guys again

Order incomplete, delivery issues
I have ordered ex-demo monitor, it came without some cables, contacting JW was a little bit difficult, though after reaching them missing items has been sent quickly. First delivery (with cables missing) was good service, second one (cables) was provided by Fastdelivery company and it was terrible experience. I was going to change the rate for service, after receiving missing items, but Fastdelivery is the worst courier company I have ever experienced. About product itself, it has one issue, menu buttons are hard to operate, especially one of them, it is a little bit frustrating. Image is very good quality.
Poor processing or order and delivery
2 days after ordering from JW online, got an email indicating that my order wasn’t being processed as I need to send them a bank statement proving its my Visa card (?!). An email followed a few hours later stating that it was now resolved. Then it took 3 tries and 4 logs by me with the courier company customer service to get then to deliver to my apartment. Won’t order from JW again.
Would not recommend online purchases from this company as communication via phone was non existent on many occasions. Order was eventually supplied
Great people, great prices, Public Service-style online shopping.
The people here are very helpful and knowledgeable. But whatever you do, don't order online with delivery as the process appears to have been set up by someone who never shops online.
If, like me, you just like to order and be done with it (like most online shopping), forget that. First you MUST create an account. If you hate email spam, forget that, because you MUST receive and look at the resulting email, even after you've entered your card details and actually made the purchase. No product will be coming your way to compensate for the deb...it from your account until you do. That email asks you to verify how much they have taken from your account. If you think that's what you just paid, forget that. You enter that but get locked out because it's not the right answer. In fact the answer is a different amount which you wont have because your bank hasn't put it in your online statement yet. So, you need to wait, get the amount and then find some way of verifying the amount (which cant be the email that you didn't want in the first place, because it says you have made 3 wrong attempts). Or, you can always ring your bank, be put on hold, go through a verification process and see if they can get the amount for you. My ordering process spanned 3 days, 4 phone calls and a total of 14 minutes talking to people or on hold.
Still does not work
The only thing they have is nice people to talk to on the phone other then that they are crap. Bought a pc last year and it still is not working we sent it back and after 2 months. they did not look at it for a long time. Rubbish !!
Questions & Answers
Do you replace a PC Power Supply to a new one?
Yes, we can replace a Power Supply Unit (PSU) for you. The cost of replacing a PSU with basic cable management is $65, and needs to be booked in at your nearest store.
I bought a Radeon 5700XT last week from Blacktown store but now have changed my mind to buy a Nvidia 2700 Super instead.
How do i process the return? Do I just take the item to the store or do I need to do it online?
I tried calling the store yesterday and today but no one is picking up.
You'd have to return the product in it's original packaging with all contents, undamaged, to the store. From there, upon inspection, the return will be processed with a 15% restocking fee as it is a change of mind return.
Apologies that you weren't able to get through on the phones; we have multiple lines ringing consecutively, and it is difficult to attend to every call whilst the stores are busy. However, we are implementing a new phone system which will assist with this matter.
I would like to purchase a Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce RTX2080ti but prices are all over the place. Of course it has to be new. Can anyone help me out?
Sure, we can help out.
At the moment, due to the economic affect, and global supply shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been a few price changes on certain items, though not everything.
We do have RTX2080Ti's in stock.
Send us a PM and we will contact you to discuss.
