6 day time frame for installation that started on Oct 6. Now it is Nov 17 and no finished kitchen. The benchtop was installed with a fault on Oct 8 and we are still awaiting another benchtop having been given an undertaking that it would be prioritised (7-10 days). The kitchen design was flawed so that a set of drawers scrape open onto a door. This is waiting to be rectified at the same time as the benchtop.
I would like some help to be valued and respected as a customer and get the job done. Thank you.
Cupboards wonderful but very disappointed with the quality of the worktops they mark easily and one has chipped. We have only had the kitchen a couple of months. No children in the house.
What a great Job.
We had only part of out Kitchen updated but it fits in perfectly with the existing and the colour match is just right
It Was all left very clean.
Thank you Chris
Very good value for money.
We installed the product ourselves to reduce our overall costs. Everything went together well and there was a high level of accuracy in the manufacturing. Most possible issues were solved by measuring as accurately as possible and working around our older house where some of the walls and the flooring was a little out of shape. We also had to be careful moving all the panels etc up a flight of stairs and avoid any scratches and bumps, but we are very happy with the result.
Measured up wrong by bunnings
Paid to have kitchen measured up by bunnings but apond delivery the kitchen bench was to long.we paid 6000 bucks for our kitchen..there's no follow up from bunnings to leave any feed back.kaboodoo must be rubbing the hands together..no service great parter bunnings.
Our kitchen was measured and supplied by Bunnings. Assembly was done by myself. Overall very happy with the experience and end result. Only negative was a problem about 12 months later with the soft close drawer runners. Contacted Kaboodle and they resolved the problem immediately by replacing the drawer runners. No argument or confrontation they couldn't do enough to help. Very happy with end result and the way I was treated by service team. Good value.

Great Quality Products
I built a kitchen from scratch using Kaboòdle everything went according to plan with the help of the kitchen specialist at my local Bunnings store i would highly recommend this to anyone with a small degree of diy skill.
My parents had a problem that this company didn’t hesitate to rectify.
Trey was genuine and the service was fast. Thank-you.
Great warranty support
Our vinyl wrap kitchen started to change color approximately 9 years after installation but was otherwise in as new condition. I called Kaboodle about the problem and they acknowledged the problem and confirmed that they would replace the entire kitchen and pay for the re-installation. They provided a catalog of all the new colors and kitchen finishes that I could choose from and asked me to get 3 quotes for the install. I now have a new kitchen and it looks great! Thanks Kaboodle for the great support!
More than happy
I designed and installed my Kaboodle kitchen cabinets with no experience and no help. The result was beyond my expectations.
The online kitchen design app was easy to use and helped me plan, budget and visualize my kitchen. Bunnings staff helped the process along beautifully.
I managed to put together my dream kitchen, despite having had no experience assembling or installing kitchen cabinets.
I'm writing this review because I think it's important to give credit where credit is due. I'm pretty sure that installing a Kaboodle kitchen myself, saved me about 10k and added around 30k to the sale price of my apartment.
Looks great NOW but we've had our problems.
There are too many faults to go into - dicky hingers, laminate lifting at bench top joints etc. However the Kaboodle service guy was excellent to deal with and all is now fixed at their expense. Bunnings were hopeless and hand balled the problem very quickly to Kaboodle.
The cost saving was worth the disruption but take care!
She'll be right mate!
Kaboodle kitchen kits highlight everything that's wrong with Australian built products. She'll be right mate, it's close enough. I had to use Kaboodle as part of a kit home I owner/built. The kit looked promising to start with. Good design process and finish choices were broad. I can see how someone can easily be convinced they could save money with this kit. Here's the problem however. From an installation POV these kits are problematic and builders will need to charge more to install as a result. Pre-drilling tolerances are poor so panels don...'t always line up meaning I needed to pre-drill replacement holes and realign. 3 out of my 4 end panels had scratches and markings that wouldn't come out with cleaning. I ended up taking 2 back for replacement and used one where it wouldn't be seen. One cabinet kit had a broken panel even though the box looked fine so I can only presume it was broken before packing. There are numerous little 'chips' found across the panels and these needed a water proof adhesive applied so they wouldn't cause problems later on. Ironically all of these kits had a 'quality check' sticker applied to them! What are they actually quality checking for god's sake? And don't try and remove the sticker as that is just a PITA to clean up. There are so many areas where you (the installer) need to do most of the work - fitting front panels on drawers for instance. These could easily be pre-drilled along with handle holes but aren't, so you need to carefully align everything and do a lot of drilling to finish. The oven cabinet includes two strips of metal that appear to be a last minute addition as they do not install nicely. The only way to have them hold properly is to use a high strength heat resistant epoxy. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to coat the bare particle board ends with a water-proof adhesive to stop water destroying the cabinets. I'm yet to find out how the kitchen will fare long term but from some of the other reviews I'm not holding my breath. My advice would be to check how much an equivalent Ikea kitchen will cost and if it's less than 20% more expensive, go for it. You'll save the money on the install.
Only Excellent things to say about this company
We bought a self install kitchen from Bunnings. After almost 10 years two of the hinges of the corner cupboards failed. We went back to Bunnings to try to purchase. Absolutely showed No interest whatsoever, no help. One of the team members after our 3rd exasperated visit looking for a similar item to buy, mentioned the hinges and fittings etc (maybe the complete kitchen?) came from Kit and Kaboodle. We emailed them. We didn't expect much after the Bunnings experience...Not a bit of it. The lovely man there, got onto it and within ten days sent new hinges. Wait for it...gratis...Brilliant Brilliant service. Who offers this level of service these days?? No one. Well these people do...
Questions & Answers
Hi, we are getting a new kitchen and we are struggling to make a decision on the finish of the cabinets/draws/under bench panels. At the moment we are just going for white through top and bottom in a modern profile. Do we have it down to premium thermoformed egg white gloss or macaroon silk finish or meringue gloss finish. We are having a wooden look floor so I think we are not going two tone on the cabinets. We think the bench top will be think solid and also a light colour like frost or similar. Any suggestions please or personal recommendations from using any of these finishes.
I have just installed a Kaboodle kitchen
The draws do not close all the way (Issue is with the 900 draws)
Is there an integrated dishwasher you recommend? I already have the panel. When the dishwasher door opens it must not hit the kick board. Appears to not work with Bosch?
Heat deflectors keep sliding down even after attaching oven cabinet to side cabinets very tightly. Do I need to drill through the heat defector and screw my cabinets together through them? Am I missing something? Thanks
