6 month ongoing saga
Original order for thermal lined laundry cupboards and draws June 2021, original delivery time 4 weeks however due to covid restrictions in VIC took 9 weeks which we had no issue with, unfortunately absolutely no quality control check done as every single panel, draw and cupboard front were faulty with the thermal wrapping having a very visible wrap line down the front. The saga of trying to get someone from Bunnings to acknowledge and respond to us took another 3 weeks of calling and driving 200km round trips twice a week to the store. Final...ly had the communication issues resolved and the the laundry was re ordered in September. Unfortunately for us the person who promised us the world and it would never happen again didn't re order correctly, so once again after delivery on the 6th December, 2 draw fronts still missing and guess what again no quality control the laundry pantry door has big bubbles in the vinyl wrapping and one of the panels has that unmistakable wrapping fault. You guessed it the waiting game again. Over 6 months and still no laundry. This is not all the fault of Kaboodle as Bunnings also have to wear some of the responsibility for incorrect ordering and not following the proper procedures by re ordering everything and not doing as a warranty claim. I would like to acknowledge the help from Mel, Bunnings Midland who has been fantastic sorting everything out for me and also Tre from Kaboodle warranties who I contacted myself and was fantastic in the follow up of my re order. As a final note after the re order of the laundry was done we ordered a kitchen and pantry from Kaboodle thru Bunnings who swore we were a one off case so in good faith we ordered the raw panels, doors etc and although there was a lot of painting the final result is stunning and so glad we didn't go with the vinyl wrapping again and that we did order the Kaboodle, unfortunately the same person who re ordered our laundry also did our order for the kitchen and pantry and forgot to order one of the cupboard fronts for the pantry, once again fantastic Mel to the rescue. So my conclusion would be save yourself a few thousand dollars and purchase the raw and paint yourself or get a panel beater to spray. Fingers crossed I get my laundry completed soon!!!

When I contacted Kaboodle to notify them of their rubbish, they wanted me to do all the leg work.
Un-special Order - 5 months before Xmas
The main kitchen was ordered on 19 August 2021 and the Special Order for top up parts on 12 October 2021. I waited an additional 8 weeks for my Special Order, and every part of the Special Order was wrong. The cutting measurements were up to 30mm out and the wrapping is as per the pictures. Bunnings has been amazing in terms of the order and my complaint, unfortunately quality control and the 'warranty department' of Kaboodle does not exist. I will now express my thoughts to Fair Trade NSW and the management team of Wesfarmers as Kaboodle s...houldn't be associated with Bunnings/ Wesfarmers and they should be held accountable for their defective products and lack of quality control and consequential loss. I advised Kaboodle of this complaint (as did Bunnings) more than 10 working days ago by phone and by email, but they are yet to respond. Please spend your money and time elsewhere, rather than looking for a quality product from a defunct retailer. Wesfarmers and Bunnings should be ashamed of endorsing this brand, time to move on.
Over priced cr*p! Costs about 2-3x the price of ikea and the quality is inferior. Two of our doors ($180 each) that we custom ordered and waited 9 weeks for came out the box splitting at the edges! Where is the quality control?? But the worst bit is Bunnings doesn't want to know about it and just say they've forwarded my email to Kaboodle... I'm still waiting!? Save your money. Go Ikea or save up & get a proper kitchen.
Never again order is easy but delivery and actual product :-(
Oh boy never again!
Ordered at Bunnings Alexandria and was promised delivery in 7-14 days as everything in stock!
2 weeks later no delivery date so emailed Bunnings who advised Kaboodle stuffed up and delays with delivery.
3 weeks later more delays but was advised delivery of cupboards maybe this week or early next but not the benchtop!
Delivery of cupboards was finally received 4 weeks later but still no benchtop. No delivery date confirmed yet so unable to install kitchen...
The quality of the cupboards is not great either, Polyurathane finish looks very thin and ordinary
Gee organisation and customer service is shocking... So difficult to phone Bunnings and actually speak to someone :-(
6 day time frame for installation that started on Oct 6. Now it is Nov 17 and no finished kitchen. The benchtop was installed with a fault on Oct 8 and we are still awaiting another benchtop having been given an undertaking that it would be prioritised (7-10 days). The kitchen design was flawed so that a set of drawers scrape open onto a door. This is waiting to be rectified at the same time as the benchtop.
I would like some help to be valued and respected as a customer and get the job done. Thank you.
The cheapest nastiest chipboard possible. 1000s of dollars wasted on this kitchen. Looked nice in Bunnings though! Buyers remorse is a real thing...I have it now.
Cupboards wonderful but very disappointed with the quality of the worktops they mark easily and one has chipped. We have only had the kitchen a couple of months. No children in the house.

Very good value for money.
We installed the product ourselves to reduce our overall costs. Everything went together well and there was a high level of accuracy in the manufacturing. Most possible issues were solved by measuring as accurately as possible and working around our older house where some of the walls and the flooring was a little out of shape. We also had to be careful moving all the panels etc up a flight of stairs and avoid any scratches and bumps, but we are very happy with the result.
Kaboodle push to close drawers
Designed to fail !!!
I have replaced all push to close runners 4 times now over $1500 worth of runners they last about one month before they drawers stay open and don’t close !!
A steel striker runs over a plastic mechanism and the rear and wears down in no time !!!
causing you to buy a new runner and same thing !!
Now I’m at the point where the chipboard carcass are stripped due to replacing the runners so many times. ...Never buy kaboodle absolute rubbish
Measured up wrong by bunnings
Paid to have kitchen measured up by bunnings but apond delivery the kitchen bench was to long.we paid 6000 bucks for our kitchen..there's no follow up from bunnings to leave any feed back.kaboodoo must be rubbing the hands together..no service great parter bunnings.
Our kitchen was measured and supplied by Bunnings. Assembly was done by myself. Overall very happy with the experience and end result. Only negative was a problem about 12 months later with the soft close drawer runners. Contacted Kaboodle and they resolved the problem immediately by replacing the drawer runners. No argument or confrontation they couldn't do enough to help. Very happy with end result and the way I was treated by service team. Good value.
Never buy a kaboodle Kitchen
We paid for a kaboodle Kitchen to be installed. Never again. Scratches and paint runs all over cabinets and drawers. We paid for a pattern on draws. One cupboard with no pattern., 6 Parts missing. After we have contacted them & all parts re ordered twice. We still don't have our Kitchen completed.

Questions & Answers
Have just installed Kaboodle 2 x 31L Side-Mount Pullout Bins. The bins strongly resist being pulled out for the first 30-50mm, then there is a clicking sound and suddenly the bins slide out as I would have expected them to do. This happens every time. Bins have been installed according to directions. Measurements are accurate and runners are level. I have inspected the parts and they all seem fine. What do I do?
ow long is warranty on discolouration of the white cupboards
Don’t know sorry we have had ours installed a couple of months really disappointed with the finish and quality. Kaboodle said that they would contact us weeks ago to discuss still waiting ☹️
Hi, we are getting a new kitchen and we are struggling to make a decision on the finish of the cabinets/draws/under bench panels. At the moment we are just going for white through top and bottom in a modern profile. Do we have it down to premium thermoformed egg white gloss or macaroon silk finish or meringue gloss finish. We are having a wooden look floor so I think we are not going two tone on the cabinets. We think the bench top will be think solid and also a light colour like frost or similar. Any suggestions please or personal recommendations from using any of these finishes.
