Intermittent non-response, then total death.

published

Same as everyone else here. Battery doesn't hold charge, switches are intermittent, then it dies completely.

Kenwood should have died out like their car stereos. Product not fit for purpose at all.

Purchased in July 2020 for $69.00.

Good idea, faulty product

published

Great idea but product is not fit for purpose. It doesn’t hold a charge and barely works for 30 seconds. So in the end, not just substandard, but totally useless (my knife, don’t know whether this is an isolated problem).

Purchased in August 2020 at Peter's of Kensington Online store for $79.00.

Broken after 9 months

published

Got the knife for father's day last year. I use it cut cut fresh bread before school and work, maybe 3 times a week. Began intermittent fault about 2 months back, now won't cut at all.. Loved it whilst it worked. My wife can't figure out who she bought it from so... down the drain goes some money.

Purchased in October 2018 at Kitchen Warehouse Online Store for $74.00.

Agree with all comments posted "Great / Fantastic" product when working.
Unfortunately seems to be a design flaw or absolute "Lifespan Cycle" that renders the product useless within (12-18mths) hmmmm.........what do you know, that's just outside of the Warranty Period!!
Shame on you Kenwood - Once such a trusted brand!!

How do I know when knife is fully charged?...does the green light change colour?...doesn.t seem to be charging properly as it only works for a few minutes after charging...

It doesn't change, always green. I just charge it overnight. If it still only lasting a few minutes, might be a faulty battery.
