Motor faulty for 2nd time! Now it stopped spinning!
So many problems with this machine. First time the motor did some strange sound. We gave it back and waited for one month to repair. But the sound was again bad. Next the processor was broken and now we can't use it, cause kenwood can't take back this equipment. Now the motor stopped spinning suddenly and when it does i saw many metal shaving around the machine, don't know why.. And my guaranty has expired after 2 years, cause i forgot to activate it within 60 days of purchase, and i throw away the receipt also. All went so wrong. I am not a ri...ch guy and i was paying this machine for 2 years with by installment. Here is a video that shows metal shavings while the motor is spinning. And today the motor stopped spinning. https://streamable.com/8avyr

I've had this machine for a year now. Having done exhaustive research this seemed to be the best available. Cost nearly $1000 which took me some time to save up.
I've not had much confidence in the machine from the start.Always seemed to labour when making pasta/ pizza dough or anything a bit heavier.
The motor failed completely around September and I had to take it in to a repairer some 100 km away. About two weeks later I was able to pick it up. Motor had had to be replaced.
Today I made a biscuit dough and the machine worked its way off the...

Mistake buying this after being a Kenwood fan !
Bought this machine in May , 3 months from Harvey Norman Highpoint . First cake we made with first batch it mixed smoothly , second batch we put it up to 5 and it shakes and vibrates quite a bit on a small mixture. Second time we used it , was shaking again and was hot and then it was sent back to kenwood and claims are there is no fault , although their technician admitted it does shake but claims it’s normal .. new products shouldn’t shake . they claim “ it’s not running across the bench ! “ We are not claiming it’s crawling along but it do...es shake quite a bit , how can a machine shake be normal ? No report to show what tests were done when asked HN. . Be careful if you have this problem when buying this machine as denial will be their response & not interested on whether we agree or not and our experience is using this product . we had a kenwood for 20 years before this and this is why we trusted the product .. no more . we now have to pursue further action to recover the costs as Harvey Norman customer service is appalling . They are only interested when selling a product and only concerned about the $$. No concept on providing exceptional customer service when addressing the issue. This is when their customers don’t matter .

Questions & Answers
Hello, am asking this question about the Kenwood Cooking Chef XL. When kneading dough using the pre-set cycle the bowl comes loose and starts to shake around somewhat during the kneading process. The bowl does not ratchet into place, I can only tighten it into its holding brace and no matter how much I try tighten it, it comes loose and starts moving around. Does not affect the end product, of course, but is quite noisy and annoying. Is this normal?
Your bowl should lock into place by placing the bowl on the stand and turning it to lock, if your bowl is coming loose after you have locked it in place, can you direct message us with your contact details and we can have someone from Kenwood Customer Service ring you to troubleshoot or you can ring them directly on: 1800 126 659
We would like to buy 2pcs for trial, and would you show me the Certificate of Quality (CQ) and if yes also show me your sample of Certificate of Origin (CO)? My email: email@example.com, and contact +84985247768. Thanks in advance!

What reviewers liked about this stand mixer:
- By far, the quality that reviewers appreciated most was the durability of their Kenwood stand mixer and the Kenwood brand name in general (many were using the Chef XL Titanium to replace Kenwood stand mixers they’d used for decades)
- The generous bowl size, which means you can make extra-large batches per mixing session
- Additional attachments worked effectively, with special mentions going to the blender, spiraliser and ice cream maker attachments
- Although this mixer is a little on the pricer side at $1299, reviewers rarely mentioned this, and the few who did also said they believed the Kenwood Chef XL Titanium was worth the price.
