Ozsale has passed the buck to NoniB for some reason & after many emails I’m still nowhere to resolution. Ozsale doesn’t care about resolving this problem.

Strong, Dependable and a 5th of the price of a Pelican case! – I have three of these Kinchrome boxes, one for my personal goods (medium) that gets lugged with me mostly everywhere, another that my fishing reels (large size) are stored securely in, and another that goes out kayaking with me (medium). Made from a strong UV stabilised plastic and the boxes have a good quality waterproof seal and a pressure valve that you can set manually (weather pressure change or if the box gets hot), these boxes are identical copies of the famous Pelican boxes however at a 5th of the retail cost!!!

These are exactly the same design and quality to be honest, however these boxes dont have the metal loops where you can lock them up, however if these are used in general for the out doors orientated person, these keep your, phone, navman, GPS, cash, camera's, batteries and a myriad of other items safe from moisture (I also use silica gel packets inside the boxes for excess moisture), immersion (IP68 or higher) and can / do take very hard knocks and drops.

The foam that comes inside these boxes is both the egg shell type and the pick apart foam, where you can literally pick out a shape of the item so that when closed the item is securely nestled in the foam and protected really well from long drops or hard knocks, a great investment for DSLR / video camera users!

Other points of interest is the high quality stainless steel pins used in the hinges and the handle, none of which have shown any form of rust growing even after the constant use I give my boxes? A slight coating of silicone spray on the hinges helps the 'break in' where the lid and latches are easier to open and close the box single-handedly.

The lid's retainer clips are fantastic, these two clips are somewhat hard at first to open and close, but with time they are easier to, however maintain that assured 'clump' sound when closed and have never unexpectedly opened when dropped!!

These boxes only come in high vis yellow, but can be spray-painted with a good quality non aggressive paint to a camo pattern or fish scale camo. I would personally like to see more variations in colour built in. Very impressive build quality, manufacturers guarantee and overall size (three sizes available from Bunnings). I depend on these protecting my valuables and they have done so faultlessly! Some places are selling these at double the price of what they should be, so buyer beware! Otherwise there are no cons at all... A great Pelican case alternative for those strapped for cash, or those that buy cheaper without compromising on quality.
