Delivery no show
Had delivery booked for today between 12-4. Rang despatch 4:38 to see where it is. Despatch contacted driver and left message for them to call us to advise a rough time. No call back from driver. Reached out to King again thru ‘Chat online’ to be told to contact despatch. Rang them again at 6, person tried contacting driver again no answer said she would look into it tomorrow.. (2nd call to despatch said it wouldn’t be coming now, first call to despatch said they wouldn’t return to dock with item on board) reached out again thru ‘Chat’ to get C...CO’s email to lodge formal complaint couldn’t help me have passed on my request. Still waiting for delivery to show now 7:50pm. I must say service has dropped off completely we have purchased in Sydney, QLD and now thru Canberra (this our 3rd delivery) wouldn’t recommend given the lack of service/communication . Told despatch under extreme workload in first call but not too much to get you to pay for your order in full only to not give you the courtesy call of saying your delivery isn’t going to happen. Will not be a repeat customer again sorry King you’ve lost us.
The store in Cheltenham Victoria was superb A gentleman called [name removed] was extremely polite and helpful.
The product range was excellent.
The Quality of the products we bought was varied.
However the delivery service and after sales service is unacceptable.
The first delivery was early March a round glass ding table was delivered and very badly damaged by the delivery guys in their work boots by standing on it whilst assembling it.
The Office table was made inoperable due to one of the guys hammering one of the legs in unsuccessfully and...
$8000 sofa that takes 9 months for delivery
This is a complaint regarding the worse services we've received from King furniture.
First our order got delayed for 2 months and therefore the lead time for our new sofa became 5 months contrary to the usual 3 months. When the items arrived, the delivery team realised that the sales person in Southbank had taken the wrong order for one of the piece and therefore can't be connected to the end of the sofa. We have since been living with half a sofa for 3 months.
So we were promised the correct piece that had to be re-order but they need anot...her 3 months at least to have this made and delivered...but of course the same thing happened again, that delivery was supposed to occur on the 7th of Oct and I've checked with your showroom few days prior and was promised that there was no delays...nevertheless, a call came advising that this will be delivered on the 27th of October and today I received another call that we should expect our delivery on the 5th of November. We made this order in February 2020, received first part of the order in July and the last piece of the order to be delivered in November (if by some miracle there are no further delays). Of course we have tried to be understanding that these delays are due to shipping, etc which is outside of their control...however, if you were to purchase an $8000 sofa, you tell me if having to wait 9 months to receive the entire order and living with no sofa for 5 months and then half a sofa for another 3 months is reasonable. We made all payments on time and the mistakes were all from their end and we were provided with no compensation...when things go this bad, it comes to a point where just providing apologies is not sufficient to rectify the issues. This is the most appalling service we have ever received from a high-end furniture store. I will not be recommending King Living to anyone and if i could have provided negative stars I would have.
My delivery has been late for a month and I still haven’t been given a delivery date.
I am very disappointed with Kings Living. I ordered a sofa on 4th April for delivery on 17th July.
I got a msg 2 days ago asking me to call them urgently! I called and they told me the sofa is delayed again! ETA maybe 7th Sept. they will call me on Sept to discuss. What a joke!?
I ordered furnitures from other places and have been delivered in schedule. Why only yours cannot deliver?
I won’t buy again from King livings again!
Lounge Delivery Delay - Customer Service Not Responding
Ordered sofa and was assured of a delivery date early April 20. Due to COVID-19 delivery of the sofa is unknown... We have received generic updates and phone calls stating that the sofa is in Australia but not available for delivery? I kindly asked for a refund (was willing to pay an admin fee) of our deposit in order to purchase an alternative sofa as we had already sold our sofa and was told to "read the fine print". I am not entitled to a refund. I also raised the issue of bio-security measures in place and was specifically advised by the ma...nager that they have "more trust in the Chinese government than Australian govt" when it came to bio security measures in place. I'm yet to receive a response from Customer Service or the manager. I've had to follow up correspondence myself - with no resolution to date.
I bought a lounge in December 2019. I supposed to deliver on late January 2020. I still haven't received it and they said wait another month. They ripped me off. I wish I bought my furniture from IKEA.
