Initially had an issue with our order which was rectified at the Fortitude Valley store in a way that was highly satisfactory. The quality of our furniture is excellent and I highly recommend their products
Terrible customer service
Went to the Fortitude Valley store over the weekend and was appalled by the customer service. We walked in wanting to buy the Delta III and after looking at other couches were very keen on the Japser. We couldn’t sit or look at the leather one we were interested in as a salesperson and customer sat there choosing fabrics and configuration for over an hour. In my opinion this should be done on a designated table. Not one salesperson acknowledged us in the store over the hour and a half we were there, despite making eye contact on several occasio...ns. Salespeople walked straight past us. Other customers walked in and were served straight away. Perhaps it was my husband’s thongs and shorts that threw the salespeople off? Lost sale - we were ready to purchase the next model up from our initial choice.
Atrocious customer care
We have paid a $2000 DEPOSIT... to have our King sofas re-covered by King. We paid this in November. We were told to expect a longer process because of Covid and that we should have our new covers at the end of January. We were contacted to say longer delays would see us pushed back to mid February. We have heard nothing since. My husband rang the person who organised the original quote etc and he no longer works there. We rang customer care last week and were promised service on Friday or today.... Still nothing!!!! Very concerned about our deposit, the complete lack of communication and the likely outcome of us getting our $8000 sofa re-covering service.
King Living Furniture - you really need to improve your customer Service
On the 20.Oct20 we purchased a Lume Smart Light , sales order BRIS20100529 The estimated delivery was 13.01.21. Come Mid February I still had not heard back from King Living Furniture . So I find myself chasing King Living Furniture - when THEY should be informing me of the delay. I finally received an email stating " your light will be coming into the showroom on Wednesday 24th February", hubby went to collect it on Thursday 25th (we live 35km away) and long behold "So sorry the light didn't come in yesterday. I have checked and they put it on...the truck for next Wednesday without advising me. I will keep a closer eye on this and make 100% sure it comes in next Wednesday" Next Wednesday came and went - still no light. After leaving a negative review I was contacted by Debbie from the customer service department in Sydney, who was very helpful in resolving the missing light problem. She assured me that King Living Furniture is in the process of addressing their customer service issues by recruiting dedicated staff. As for the light she managed to source one, waived the remaining balance owed and promised to post it to me. Although things didn't go according to plan I am grateful King Living Furniture has done the right thing by me. I hope their new dedicated team will be a success and wish them all the best.

This company has no regard for customer service.
Sales team "seemed" great, paid a deposit on a couch on 04 Oct 20 and told there would be a longer wait time, due to COVID (which is understandable) we were told the couch would be delivered on the 18 Jan 21. After paying the complete $6k plus a hefty delivery fee, we were left in the dark.
Everytime we had called the Fortitude Valley team it felt like we were a burden on there and couldn't wait to get us off the phone as it wasn't there problem, they had already made the sale. Now nearing the ...

Brisbane has always been the same.
Wife and just walked out of the store in disgust. Went there to check over the new Jasper to replace our old Jasper. We waited and waited for over an hour. After being ignored the attendant walked past us and served someone as they came in. Hope you sold that fold out bed my friend. Because you missed a definite sale from us.

Aaron is fantastic!
We love King furniture! There are a number of items in our house. We have kids that jump on the lounge with dirty hands and feet - although not suppose to! The quality of the fabric is incredible and has managed to remain stain free for years from using the fabric cleaners. Even red wine has wiped straight off.
We were seeking to update our lounge room with some more furniture and wanted it to match nicely with our existing setup. Aaron was so helpful, he sent pics of how things could, he provided honest advice on colours, and even the price! We are so happy and cannot wait for the additional pieces to arrive. Thank you!
Genuine Passion for Customer Service
I just wanted to acknowledge the customer service of Richard at the King Living showroom at Fortitude Valley. We had some delivery issues that were outside of anyone's direct control and when I contacted Richard he went out of his way to remedy the situation and ensure we were happy with our purchase. He understood that we, like many, were making a sizeable investment in King Living furniture as we had a passion for the quality they produce. The great news is that Richard matched that quality in his approach to helping us work through the deliv...ery challenges. He took ownership of the issue and worked with the back office teams to bring a speedy resolution to the matter. Thanks for your attention to detail Richard and ensuring that our King Living experience has been an exceptional one !!
We purchased a large/ slightly complex sofa. Aaron had all the patience in the world to explain the various options and find the perfect solution for us. Can't wait to see the beautiful sofa in our house.
We have just recently placed an order for our new couch. The service provided by Megan was exceptional. Megan was more than happy to run through fabric swatches on more than one occasion until we were confident we had picked the right fabric. Very responsive to emails and always willing to help. Very poor quality product and customer service
We have recently purchased a bed from King Living.
Obvious issues were:
- upholstery were made of poor quality, not to mention the wrong colour that we have ordered.
- the bed frame was damaged when delivered
- our property (curtain in the bedroom) was damaged.
To top it of, the customer service was appalling. Our concerns were ignored. Regret ever buying what thought to be Australian made product in view to support local businesses. In hindsight, not worth paying $7k for a poor quality China made goods.
Excellent Product and Fabulous Customer Service!!
I've been buying King Living furniture most of my adult life and love how durable and comfortable the furniture is. I've just replaced the Jasper sofa with another Jasper after having the first for 12 years, chose the same material as the Kingcord is so long lasting and wonderfully comfortable to sit on. The customer service is incredible, Ben from Emporium showroom was so helpful and lovely to work with (thanks Ben!) and overall I'm thrilled with the results. I've found all of the staff at Emporium to be very client focused and responsive. ...The rug chosen to go with the sofa is fantastic, thanks to Ben's advice :-). I'm a lifelong customer and wouldn't go anywhere else. Yes it is a little pricey, but if you buy in the sales, it's well worth it. Thanks King Living (Emporium - Valley) another satisfied customer.
There called "KING" for a reason...........
This is our second lounge purchase with King Living and you pay for what you get. First class service from sale right through to delivery. Their lounges are high quality and i'll never buy anything other than a King moving forward.
Miranda Trost at Fortitude Valley goes well and truly above and beyond the call of duty. Her customer service is amazing. Nothing is ever an issue and her follow up is amazing. She went out of her way to in put our lounges on our building plans so i could get a visual for how it would look in the space. We purchase...d the lounge for our Sydney home while we were on a holiday in QLD and Miranda was so amazing i emailed her to place an order for another lounge rather than going to my local store. I didn't want to deal with anyone else. Sam and Karl delivered and installed our lounge and they were so polite and professional. They took plenty of time to show me how to take it apart if i needed to. The legs on the lounge and coffee table are faulty and Sam went out of his way to take photos and email the service team for me, saving me the hassle. Can't recommend King highly enough.
