Far from impressed would not recommend
After quite a few mishaps in the initial design process, which lead to some confusion, design flaws, to then having to chase receipts for our payments. we understand things happen and we were happy to overlook this however we have just renovated our house completely after saving for ten years to make our home our family dream home and having just installed brand new timber flooring two weeks prior the installer dropped a cupboard and damaged our brand new flooring devastated to say the least however his care factor was zero, was rude to us in ...Read more
the process and also insulted us saying it’s only vinyl. Which alone is terrible thing to say however after spending $10,000 On our news floors, plus then spending a few hundreds dollars to protect them and they are ruined within two weeks of being installed. We also had our laundry fitted out with custom Cabinetry with a different company the whole experience was completely different they were fisdidious with every aspect. In hindsight we should had them do our kitchen but hindsight it’s a beautiful thing and we thought kitchen connection being a renowned company we couldn’t go wrong however how wrong we could be!!! Oh and we haven’t received a sorry yet either. Just trying to move us on... extremely disappointed!Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Do not use this company.
My last review was 14 May 2020 and guess what I still do not have a kitchen. Absolutely appalling service, communication and the tradespeople are useless. The company does not care as long as you have paid your money as they will not do anything until they get money but don't expect any service for the large amount of money you pay.

NL00992-01 I was not going to write a review as the thought of Kitchen Connection gets the blood boiling... However as we received a generic email that encourage customers to write a review... here i am.
The experience and end product certainly did not live up to the stress-free sales pitch given to us at the North Lakes store. The Kitchen that should have been finished in January turned out to be May. Once the trades-persons have your money, there is no interest in assisting with any concerns re quality or defects. Lack of ownership or int...Read more
erest from Kitchen Connection when there was no resolve with us raising concerns with trades-persons directly and avoids answering the questions. It was a constant battle. The stone bench had faults / debris in the stone. The stonemasons drilled and filled the major faults twice themselves. Caesarstone advised that these repairs voided the warranty as Caesarstone did not inspect or authorise the repairs, so we were left without a 10-year warranty. After numerous phone calls and emails over weeks between KC, Caesarstone and the Stonemasons, Caesarstone finally agreed to cover any repairs under a warranty. The Kitchen sink was scratched by the plumber when installing, KC on inspection agreed to cover a replacement. When the replacement was finally installed, the plumber then scratched the black Oliveri Tap while dragging it out. KC provided a $300 Credit. We purchased the same Oliveri Chrome Vilo Pull Out Spray Mixer for $1199 from the Good Guys and replaced ourselves just to get it done and move on. The tiler was booked twice to re attend for repairs to a tile that was cracked \ scratched. The 2 nonattendance's by the tiler were blamed on COVID-19, however the tiler was fine to book over and attend new paying jobs which seem to take priority. KC finally agreed to send a new tiler out which attended and replaced the tile on the first request. The cupboards above the oven were not measured or made properly. It’s either we have a gap below or a gap above. The resolution was to have it somewhere in the middler and 'not look at it'. The Bin Draw keeps coming off its tracks. The electrician(s) were very pushy to use their own PowerPoints as the Clipsal Iconic we bought were ‘too hard’. Then while installing our chosen PowerPoints they winged about other customers difficult switches etc. There are other issues, but we simply don’t have the time or energy anymore. A very unprofessional show for the money spent.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Disappointed Once Again - Customer Service Fail
After much going backward and forward we have again been disappointed by the customer service from Kitchen Connection. I have heard several negative comments and wish I had researched better before spending $50,000 on a kitchen that is sub standard. We still have had no luck in resolving our issue with the Corian benchtops and several other problems. We will now have to spend thousands of dollars replacing the top at our own cost. Please steer clear of Kitchen Connections, they do not offer any follow up service and simply do not care once they have received their payment. No responsibility taken at all.

Save your money and go else where!
I posted a review here some weeks ago but was asked to remove it by kitchen connection as they wanted the opportunity to fix our kitchen. I removed that posted in good faith they would compete all the defect listed. This simply has not happened, their contractors returned to the job and while trying to repair items they simply created more damage to the point where paint and plaster has been removed from our stair case. Not to mention the damage to the balustrade on one of our balconies where an 80kg machine was banged into during the prep of...Read more
our floor. Kitchen connection were so kind to pay the cost for a plumber to attend the job to install some duct for the range hood that was missed, however as I am a plumber if with nearly 20 years experience I can tell the job has not been done properly as it not vented through the roof or vented out of the eves with a snap vent. I questioned kitchen connection on this however I was assured it was done correctly, which it isn't. The flooring still has problems, we still have glue and primer on walls and kick boards and the trims in the doorways are all peeling off along with the flood coat that is smeared across our balcony that still hasn't been cleaned up. The direct employees from kitchen connect try to be helpful however, the company is so busy I get the feeling customers get forgotten about. Our kitchen was set for completion in early November, it is now December and it still isn't satisfactory. I would not recommend kitchen connection to anybody or use them again. kitxhen connection are supposed to make the experience convenient, not an absolute head ache. However the work for our kitchen is under contract with the QBCC for non complete or defective works, a complaint will be lodged along with a detailed list of defects repaired and outstanding will be attached.Similar opinion? Beware
Got wardrobes installed by this company through out my house. I cannot put a timber coat hanger or suit hanger in any of the bedrooms. I have been advised that these are not a standard size item. I would have thought that a master bedroom would have the requirement for at least one man suit jack to be hung and that clothes don't have to be hung on a plastic coat hanger. Also you don't own any wide legged pants that require a slightly wider coathanger.
When made them aware of the issue was only offered ONE day that they would be able to come and...Read more

Hidden Surprises.... Thumbs Down.
I'm writing this review after receiving an email from Kitchen Connection asking me to provide feedback on ProductReview.com.au. :: I chose Kitchen Connection to undertake my project based on their TV commercials, brand recognition, good reputation, and quality. However, it was a disaster. Time frame was meant to be six to eight weeks, it took seven months to reach 90% complete. The last 10% took another 4 months of arguing. The staff took measurements and got them wrong, twice. 15 cabinets were the wrong size. 3 of the 4 benchtops were too smal...Read more
l, needed to be re-ordered, then the replacements arrived too big. The electrician they used quoted $600 and then charged me $1742. The painter only painted half the room then left and never returned. Shelves were missing. The bar fridge they supplied didn't even fit in the space under the bench. To make everything even worse, the office staff refused to acknowledge their mistakes with measurements etc and threw the tradespeople under the bus. The only bright spot was the cabinet installer [name removed] who saved the day by rescuing $14,000 of pre-built cabinets from the skip and re-sizing them by hand. If I could have hired Glenn for the whole job on his own, it would have been much better. Do not buy from Kitchen Connection.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

These guys have now been working on my kitchen for 5 months. Cupboards don't fit, wrong draw systems provided and needed replacing, wrong colour draws and kick boards, Fridge wouldn't fit between overhead cupboard and they supplied the appliances. Ceasarstone joints have split apart and now the benchtop have to be removed and re installed, wrong taps and sink supplied as they tried to cheap me out of the requested as quoted, we paid $47K for this kitchen 1 month prior to deliver as required by kitchen connection and it’s still not finished. Elder Abusers
This review is posted on behalf of my 85 year old mother who was the customer.
Pre-contract negotiations were fine with staff supportive and patient in dealing with an elderly person’s natural slowness in choice and design. Installation was also on time but things turned sour at the end when my mother’s choice of a couple of clear glass cabinet doors to display her memorabilia were not supplied.

ract) her calls were not returned and on one occasion the staff hung up on her. On hearing this I became involved and after contacting the branch CSM my complaints were ignored resulting in me now having to take legal action on behalf of my mother with the Office of Fair Trading. The whole situation has caused undue stress detrimental to my mother’s health at 85 years old. For this reason along this company should be avoided for their abysmal treatment of a person in the latter years of her life.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Never again
100% would never get another Kitchen Connection kitchen again. Would have to be the worst quality cabinetry I’ve ever seen. Bunnings & IKEA produce a higher standard cabinet for well under the price KC charge.
To all potential KC customers, don’t do it!!! Go elsewhere. If you do decide to use KC you’ll be so very disappointed as we were. Save your money and get a decent product elsewhere.

Such a transformation. A space for all to use and entertain in.
From the showroom to the final measure and building of our kitchen we where very impressed in the professionalism of the whole team. They made it very streamline with the trades schedule and keeping us informed all the way. It was a project that was a longtime dream which has been brought to fruition. We have no hesitation to recommending [name removed] and all the staff from Kitchen Connections to our family and friends.

a phone call from Customer Service Manager to give a review which I was asked to mention his name as part of this. At the time I did mention to him regarding an issue that we had with a gutter that had to be cut into the concrete to which the plumbing and electrical where layed, this ran across the floor to a island bench. The gutter wasn't cut deep enough so when they covered this it was so shallow that it crumbled. The floor covering specialists stated that it wasn't really up to standard. I bought this to the attention of the Customer Service Manager at the time of his call and once since then as yet have not received any follow up. Our kitchen was installed in February 2018.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

The most painful Reno experience to date!!
So kitchen connections were chosen as their design and showroom staff were fantastic and they worked with us to get to our budget, so they were off to a flying start.
The check measure went well, there was a trainee that rocked up 45 minutes late but the main consultant ([name removed]) carried it through.
Install day came and 7 panels were damaged and the rangehood didn’t get installed. Sent an email to confirm that this and after some back and forward got on the phone with [name removed] who was extremely unprofessional, started the p...Read more
hone call with ‘I’m starting to get annoyed with this situation’. After about 15 minutes I left the phone call frustrated without solution to the rangehood install. 2nd install day - The installer called to set up a time to install the rangehood (not [name removed]), got that in. 3rd install day - Stone install, the stone installers majorly damaged my brand new timber floors, they have agreed to pay for the repairs but as we need to get them resanded we are out of pocket 3 days accommodation and kennel costs for the dog plus the major inconvenience of having you unpack half the house then back in once the floors dry.Similar opinion? READ FIRST! Suppliers only - Extremely unethical, happy to take $$$ for nothing.
It is clear to see Kitchen Connection is a struggling business, since they are more than happy to take your money for nothing in order to prop up their bottom line.
DO NOT sign any contract after having that all exciting meeting about designing your new kitchen with their sales consultant. Whilst you're emotions are on a high going through all the possibilities of your beautiful new kitchen, and you end up signing because 'they were so convincing and trustworthy!', this is all they are here for - to get your signature on the contract before...Read more
they leave. Once KC have this, they will hold you to it 100% and will wave it in front of you when you decide not to go with them a few days later (because you have had a chance to read the contract properly and consider all options, and realise their underlying business model). Even after you kindly and respectfully advise them of this and request the return of the deposit, they will point you to the fine print that you have 'agreed to' stating that only KC can terminate the contract on their terms and any deposits will be retained, or may be returned if it is KC's reasonable opinion you wish to abandon. How kind of them to include this part... since it means nothing to the customer (legally). KC appear on face value as a 'one-stop-shop' to having a brand new kitchen. This is certainly not the case. They SUPPLY ONLY, a point in their fineprint that can easily be overlooked during that 'exciting' discussion with the salesperson, or as an in-experienced customer in these type of works. Not to mention the real meaning behind including this in the contract, and having you 'agree' to this... This means once you pay the required full amount immediately upon delivery, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. They state in the contract that you must use one of their nominated contractors for the install or you will not be covered should you use anyone else. In this same clause they strongly advise you enter into a separate agreement with this contractor. In other words, if you have any issues it will be up to you to sort out (they already have your money). The 'advice' to enter into a separate agreement only re-affirms their 'confidence' in their contractor and removes themselves from any possible conflicts with the install down the track.Similar opinion? Would not recommend them to anyone
I dealt with Kitchen Connection at Kotara. After the kitchen design was approved and the deposit made it went down hill from there. First we were not advised that the person we would be dealing with would be on holidays, we found that out from the installer. The person we finally found we had to deal with wouldn't return calls. The installer was rude and I ended up organising some of the trades myself. When a cupboard was damaged I phoned, emailed and texted photos because the stone was to go on but they didn't get back to me (they had ...Read more

Unethical, unprofessional, non-recommendable.
I contacted kitchen connection in regards to installing a new kitchen and laundry while renovating my house, I had my consultation before demolition of the existing kitchen, I was really only investigating a quote. I was advised it would be vital to pay a substantial deposit then and there, feeling pressured i forwarded a $2000+ deposit. Two days after payment was made, and still without ANY contracts sent to me, I had second thoughts about going ahead with the job; considering my old kitchen and laundry had not yet been gutted, in addition to ...Read more
time frames and budget projections all still tentative, I decided to contact kitchen connection to cancel my order; expecting there would at minimum a 3 day cooling off period to a job i still had no paperwork to. I received a reply stating in no way were there any options to exiting the commitment made not EVEN 3 days earlier -I could understand this notion had progress been made, however nil had be, as mentioned above, I hadn't been forwarded any paperwork. A contract was attached to my reply email with apologies for the tardiness. I read through the terms and conditions myself, I found it increasingly frustrating that while the client (me) could not terminate the agreement, it did state kitchen connection maintained right to withdraw; given the 48hours in which i had contacted kitchen connection regarding my regrets, with zero invested into the job by kitchen connection, i found their response highly unethical. I did realise that while kitchen connection refused my cancellation, there was nothing in the terms and conditions stating i could not amend the contract. I emailed and advised them I would be deleting the kitchen and progressing with the laundry only. After some time, I received a reply agreeing there were no existing objections outlined to amendment. After the entire saga, once the laundry was installed, the cabinet maker advised me he had been short a handle however assured me he would organise to retrieve it. Hearing nothing about the missing handle, I made 3 phone calls to the office regarding it, each time assured it would be sorted out. finally on my last call kitchen connection promised to deliver the handle however could not facilitate time to install it. I found this very poor in professionalism. I was ecstatic to see the end of their business and would not recommend nor use again, for any reason.Similar opinion? Is there a half star option?? Dodgy company masquerading as a high street store
December 2018 update:
the quality of this product is not impressive. The very expensive doors slide open about 2 inches each side and the glide on the floor is coming up. No point letting Kitchen Connection know they never even bothered to come back and install the soft close for the drawers that they had forgotten in the original build.

Questions & Answers
Rickyasked
Are there any clients of 'Kitchen Connection' who had purchased the Blum Soft Close Blue Motion Drawers and are experiencing issues with the draws not always closing properly despite numerous attempts with adjustments by 'Kitchen Connection'? 'Kitchen Connection' installed the 30kg version of the drawer slide, we think they should have installed the 65kg version Blum Soft Close Blue Motion Drawer-slide for the size of the draws that we had purchased. We believe that the weight of the items [steel pots and heavy glassware], may require a stronger drawer slide. We have 17 draws... 11 of the 17 are working fine, 6 of the 17 are problematic.
This question is aimed simply to gauge how many other clients are having similar problems.
1 answer
Hi David. Thanks for your prompt response. Fortunately, or unfortunately, it is not the Blum Draw Slider per se that is at fault. If the 6 drawers were empty or half-full, the mechanism works as it should. The issue with the loaded drawers had been reported to Kitchen Connection almost straight after the kitchen was installed and twice thereafter following 2 x site service visits. I've also gone in personally to the branch in Maroochydore, was promised in vain that someone would come out. You may go back to your records to concur. Even then, we suggested that Kitchen Connection consider the 65kg version in place of the 30kg of Blum's product. I will admit that I am not an expert, it just seems logical to deduce that it appears to be a weight problem as the drawers work when empty. I must stress, I am not in any way looking for a hand-out or freebee. Even now, I am willing to pay the difference between the 30kg and 65kg versions if that is what is required. All I am after is a working solution. These drawers never worked as they should from get-go.
David, to recall. We have 17 draws. 11 are working as it should. 6 are not. The 11 all have lengths between 85cm to 93cm. The 6 problematic draws are all approximately 120cm in length.

nd staff. My kitchen journey commenced in March 2020 and not surprising I still do not have a kitchen. All the trades and people I have employed myself have done an exceptional job and the house was ready days before expected. Kitchen Connection staff decide what they want to do and do not consider or communicate with the customer. If you complain and want an explanation you are told too bad. Tradesmen do not turn up to do the work and when they do arrive they leave again after a couple of hours and just move he cabinets around without installing anything. Tradesmen don't even know what needs to be done and then do the job incorrectly and have to corrected by my separate builder. They insist on being paid before any work done and then do not care about the job once they have received their money. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the conduct of this company and will never recommend anyone use this company. I am sure they are not going to cover all the additional costs that I have incurred due to their incompetence.
