Great product, could be built better
I purchased this Kitchen Aid food processor around August 2020. What initially attracted me to it was that all the pieces stored with in the main canister, which saved me on cabinet space. The higher end model has a case for all of the pieces.
During time owning it I have used it for fixing vegetables, kneading dough, blending soup and pestos, just to name a few.
While this machine is built well for the price, it doesn’t feel like a traditional Kitchen Aid product. The main body is built from plastic rather then metal. But this can be expect...
Read more at the sun-$300 price point. So far the most annoying thing is the lid and feeder. Anytime you open the lid you need to be weary that the feeder could go flying across the room. It’s too loose and my feeder has several chips from bouncing on my tile floor. My other grievance is grating cheese. Following the manual I freeze my cheese for 10 minutes before. However, it is often still too soft for this machine to grate it to good effect. By the time you get to the end of the block it gets stuck between the blade and the lid near the feeder. Not ideal.
