Purchased in august, machine performed really well. Was kneading bread dough recently 1/2 the quantity I usually do - machine stopped spinning. Have reached out to Kitchen Aid they have failed to reply.
Purchased in August 2020 for $630.00.
Not happy..still waiting for response
Recently bought KSM150 from Kogan 04/Aug/2020 however the paint is chipped with a deep hole in its body after 3rd uses and it always been cleaned with dry cloth gently. Have contacted customer service on Mon 31/Aug from KitchenAid regards the machine vibrates when at speed 2, and at speed 5 it vibrates more and when machine at speed 8 it shaked. However the customer service advised we should only use at speed 2 only. Didn't questions further. However the machine has 10 speed, why this customer service asking to just use at speed 2 only?
Purchased in August 2020 at Kogan.com.

My Kitchen Aid broke within the warranty period and no response for months after many mails and calls. They simply do not know the meaning of a warranty. Why promise if they cannot respect ? Really disappointed.
- KSM150 Artisan
I am very disappointed with this product.. it doesn’t work properly the top part of the machine keep jumping and making funny noise.
I went back to kitchen warehouse from where I’ve purchased it and they told me I have to deal directly with kitchenaid company. I feel just frustrated.. I still don’t know what will happen next. Tomorrow I will call them and I will see...
Bad customer service with no return policy
Horrible, arrogant company that does not allow you to return their product under any circumstance to the store you bought it from. A consumer needs better security when buying a product, we need to know we can return it if we're not happy with it. The mixer looks great and has a solid motor, but things break on it just like many of the cheaper models from other brands. It's not at all worth the high price tag. Go with a kenwood or sunbeam, they are starting to make some better quality models.
i also purchased one of their food processors and it was a piece of garbage. It did a terrible job of slicing things. Luckily Myers was kind enough to give me a store credit.
Don't buy directly from kitchenaid
My mixer rattles like a shanty in an earthquake, but it gets the job done. My gripe is that if you accidentally buy a product from kitchenaid directly they won't return it under any circumstances - seriously is there any other company that does that! Do yourself a favour and if you go crazy and feel the need to buy one of these do not do it via Kitchenaid.
Terrible customer service
While cleaning my mixer I noticed a slit in the power cord down to the electrical wires, I searched for replacement cords and found one, but would cost over $70 to replace, they suggested I contact customer service as the mixer was still under warranty. Bad mistake, after waiting days they said it was NOT a 'manufacturing' fault so basically tough luck. I believed it happened when the item was packaged with the weight of the mixer on the cord. I am left with forking out more money after spending over $700 or risk electrocution from a company that doesn't care about their customers.
never again !!
Bought a kitchen Aid in 2011 , have had nothing but trouble with it ! stops with a singe mix , noisy , & has smell of oil coming from it. now has stopped & have found Kitchen Aid people not good to deal with . other words i am left with a mixer that does not go ! & now using my 22yr old hand mixer that has never stopped & still goes like brand new!!
Terrible Quality and Worthless Warranty
I brought my mum a kitchenaid for christmas last year, in white.
within a year, the hinge portion of the kitchenaid failed and was not locking/unlocking properly.
contacted kitchenaid for warranty, terrible customer service but that is besides the point.
no pick-up service, and the service center is a hours drive away.
it was a simple none electrical problem and required 2 weeks to fix.
did not contact me when it was fixed, i only found out it was fixed when i did a follow up call.
a hour drive to go pick it up during service center's opening hours as stated on the card. IT WAS CLOSED. ...
Not worth the money
First thing made was pizza dough. The dough goes over the hook and gets stuck. The dough does not mix well and does not come out smooth or elastic. Then I tried to cream butter and sugar for a cake, the butter just spreads up the side of the bowl and the beaters don't even touch it. Third time I used it the lock that holds the head in the down position broke, so when mixing dough the head lifts up and the dough mixes even worse. I also have a sunbeam professional mixer. It was cheaper and it is sooooo much stronger and can mix 4 times the quan...tity of dough that the kitchen aid can. Looks nice on the bench but not at all what the promote it as. Myers did just swap it for a new one when I was telling the sales assistant how crap it is. But the new one is exactly the same. Looks nice and comes in many colours Not strong or powerful. Only useful as a bench decoration
Overpriced junk - sorry I bought it
Finally got the beautiful stand mixer I'd wanted for years, and after making 2 spongecakes, a nylon gear stripped and had to be replaced before the mixer could be used again. It was still under a 3-month full replacement warranty so I contacted the company. KitchenAid's response? 'Well if you wanted a heavy duty mixer you should have bought a commercial model.' Apparently, so they tell me, the nylon gear is to prevent burning out the motor when it is placed under stress. Really? Making a simple sponge cake is too much for a $700+ mixer? They a...lso cautioned against making dough with it (despite supplying a dough hook as standard, and advertising making dough as one of the machine's selling points), because that too frequently causes this so-called 'end user issue'. Now they have an 'end user issue' of a different sort - a disgusted customer who warns others not to be duped into wasting their money on a mixer that can't stand up to even basic household use. Next time I will take their advice and buy a commercial mixer - but it won't be a KitchenAid. Will make a beautiful door stop someday. Needed repair after only minimal use; warranty not honored; advised by company not to use it for it's advertised and intended purpose
should have bought a magimix
So disappointed in this product! The small bowl throws everything up the sides so you can not make things like pesto or curry paste. When making crumbs, the force jammed particles into the ridge in the lid, and left huge chunks while pulverising the rest. Batters, dips and more liquified mixes dribble through the centre cavity particularly when transferring the contents in to another bowl. When blending soups, mixing egg whites etc in the bowl with the attachments provided and using their recipes mixes often spill in to the middle under the bla...de or whisk and on to the bench which seems to be a design fault for a machine of this cost. Being able to process liquids such as these was part of the reason I purchased the KitchenAid. When grating cheese, carrots or other vegetables, large chunks get stuck under the domed lid, wasting product and time. You can not put the bowls etc in the dishwasher as they crack even though this was one of my queries when purchasing the machine. I have already had to replace my large bowl 3 times. My mother has had her magimix for more than 20 years, puts everything in the dishwasher & it is still fabulous. The KitchenAid mixmaster however is a great product. the colour options expensive for the result

I have a KSM150 Artisan. Will a 4qt bowl fit this mixer? If so where I can I buy it?
Kitchen aid ksm150
Should the attachment shaft be spring loaded?
Our kitchen aid came without it .
I bought KSM 150 mixer from mighty ape a couple of week ago. Last weekend opened package and try to remove wire whip from beater shaft it was so tight and couldn’t come out easily. I notice that there was no spring on beater shaft. Is that normal or any defect?
