Very gorgeous but didn’t last long...

Very nice looking kettle; water tastes fine and boils in a timely fashion.
About 3 months in, kettle starts leaking water from where the glass and plastic meet just below the uselessly designed spout. It’s just been replaced with an all-plastic kettle.

Purchased in April 2020 at Kmart for A$35.00.

Works ok but....

Bought it because i liked the visibility factor. Easy to see water level...obviously. works fine and fast but that dripping from the spout is doing my head in. Every time i use it i have to sponge the bench. For this reason cannot be recommended.

Purchased in July 2019 for A$25.00.

Quieter than my old kettle, but they didn't test the spout

Looks nice, love the lights, heats water well, quieter than a normal kettle. All plus points.

The bad though... you can't pour it without spilling it everywhere. Yes, hot boiling water, all over the place. The spout is just too wide. How this made it through safety checks is beyond me. I have never considered the shape of the spout before, but will now and can't recommend this kettle.

I replaced my old stainless steel Kmart kettle with this one and it had a nice pointy spout.

Purchased in November 2019 at Kmart Retail Stores for A$27.00.

Worst kettle ever

Pouring water from this kettle is a masterclass in spillage and disaster. The spout is appallingly designed and you are 100% guaranteed to end up pouring BOILING (obviously) water not just in your cup/pot, but also on whatever the cup/pot is sitting on. How this thing made it to the shelves is beyond me.

Everything else is just fine - water heats, it's quiet, reasonably quick, and the water tastes OK but the spout should be cause for a product recall in my opinion.

Purchased at Kmart Retail Stores for A$25.00.
