Kmart 2400W Bagless - Not worth the $
Had this vacuum literally 3 days and that is how long it lasted.....motor burnout! Was only using to vacuum carpets and obviously it was too hard work for it. Extremely disappointed as I had people recommend this vacuum cleaner to me. Guess I won't be purchasing another 2400w from Kmart.
This thing works like a charm - Be sure to check the inside barrel as sometimes things can get stuck in there.
[This a complete edit of my original 1-star Review] I would've given it five stars but the design flaw still means you have to be careful about things getting stuck in the inside barrel. However, for $100 from Kmart, just wow!
But the honeymoon didn't last. Within 1-month, the vacuum randomly stopped exerting the level of suction it used to. I cleaned the thing from top to bottom but still no cigar. I was really frustrated and gave a 1-star review.
That's until my inner Engineer kicked in and I decided to take a closer look. I had cleaned ev...erything, but I forgot to take a look at the inner barrel. And there it was - a stupid sock had got stuck in there. So this thing is too powerful for its own good. One of my kids might have 'accidentally' picked up a sock while they were vacuuming. However, it was near impossible to get it out. Once done, wow - the thing worked like brand new. 4-Stars for absolute performance but 1-star retracted due to the difficulty in cleaning that inner barrel. But for day to day cleaning, its really easy to do.
I am pretty disappointed with this vac constantly clogs, I was planning on returning it but because of quarantine I’m stuck with it. It does have powerful suction but having pets , it needs emptying constantly .
good suction bad everything else!
I've owned for about 1 year. brush head useless, cord button never worked, and too short. Now it squeals so loud i can't use it.
I could go on with other issues too. in the bin it goes.
Purchased in May 2019 for A$90.00.
Can’t live without it.
I’ve been vacuuming my very small kitchen that is a type of rubber, also carpet. It works so well and transitions smoothly from the two... for the price I payed I am so impressed and hope to get a long life out of it. Kmart, you’ve done it again!

Don't waste your money
Like the other reviewer said, pet hair and fluff gets caught in the inner barrel and have to remove manually (you get covered in dust & dirt). Seal falls out everytime you empty. The catch broke on the barrel not long after purchase and now hardly any suction. The cheap piece of sponge that acts as a filter was stuck to the machine the first time I emptied it and ripped in half. I wouldn't recommend buying.
Purchased in November 2018 for A$99.00.
Questions & Answers
Not familiar with dust interceptor can you let me know what to do with it or forward a link to user manual please
the roller on the head has stopped spinning i pulled it apart and now it won t go i think ive put it back togther wrong
Try pulling it apart again and fitting the parts back in. It can be as simple as a plastic holder put back in the wrong way. Also while its apart just check there is nothing stopping the belt from rotating. If this doesn't work, it can be easy to buy another head or one of a different model and an adjuster, but for this machine I wouldn't bother wasting the money.
