Just. Perfect.
Upon visiting my family interstate and my sister singing its praises, I returned home and went straight to K-Mart and picked one up. I'm a single-person household and its still a bit small, but that's mostly because I'm trying to fit in a bunch of chicken wings and a serving of chips at the same time. But it works!
I chuck this stuff in and the default setting is 180 degrees/15mins and by the time I've wound down from getting home from work it beeps and ready to go. You might need to shuffle the contents around a bit (lamb chops I usually fli...
Read morep half way through), but otherwise its super easy to use and more importantly easy to clean. For someone living on their own it doesn't make sense to buy a fridge full of groceries which go bad, or make five days worth of pasta, and meal prep is not in my genes. I can make steak and chips in 15 mins and only need to clean one thing. It does take up a lot of bench space but so does a toaster, which only toasts bread and occasionally singes my arm hairs.Purchased in .

Great, but non-stick coating needs improving
Purchased around a year ago and its been working well since. Cooks well, does everything expected of it. Only recently replaced with another unit (different brand) as the inside removable tray was loosing its non stick abilities and looking quite shabby. The new unit we purchased has a higher quality non-stick lining and is easier to clean, yet it too cost around the same price point. So whilst I would recommend this unit I think the non-stick coating needs improving.

Best buy in years with a well-earned 5-Star plus rating.
Had I been sucked in by the negative CHOICE review by their supposed "experts" who saw fit to provide a deprecatory, low 64% "Expert Rating" for the ANKO 3.2 litre Air Fryer, I would never have touched this product. But it didn't end there - CHOICE went on to label this as a "cult appliance" which performed poorly. Well, in the first instance, CHOICE charge for their reviews. And the fact is, I'd rather rely on say 10 real-life, owner user experiences than take at face value, a single incentive-driven review. And precisely why I am not a subscr...
Read moreiber. But In fairness to CHOICE, I also tend to prefer known brands as in Philips, Tefal, Breville, Sunbeam, etc, and that is precisely where I started when I went shopping for an air fryer. And this is what I found: Disappointingly, most of the known brands were overstated, overrated and overpriced. I read review after review, and went from shop to shop to explore the brands and models I was contemplating on buying. In conclusion of my travels, I conceded that build quality of the ANKO 3.2 litre Air Fryer was on a par with that of the so-called reputable brand names. But it didn't end there - I also scrutinized consumer feedback. I found that some big-name brands had an appalling track record of pathetic, non-existent after sales service. With consumers being ignored or treated with outright contempt by these giants of the industry. I can vouch for that due to my exact, same negative experiences. So not surprising, consumers often had to wait for months for parts or repairs while being fobbed off - often without resolve. That scenario was a big factor when it came down to my personal and final choice. And that in itself is telling - if the well known brands were so good, why the disproportionate number of failures and complaints? With the ANKO 3.2 litre Air Fryer placed alongside the supposedly "premium" brand names without price or brand disclosure, one would be hard pressed to ascertain which was a budget unit and which was premium. My viability investigation placed it in the same if not better build quality category than that of well known brand names. Over and above, it would appear that ANKO is a progressive company that is consistently improving its products - I have the new version with controls strategically placed on the side. It is well made, and most of all, does a superb job of its intended use - air frying. It's a fantastic value-for-money product that exceeded all our expectations. In short, it cooks beautifully. My partner is a gourmet cook and she cannot believe the efficiency of the ANKO 3.2 litre Air Fryer - that we use our in our kitchen - not a lab. It's one of our best buys in years and without a doubt, it gets a well-earned 5-star plus rating.Purchased in for $59.

Best little air fryer.
I have had this air fryer for 12 months now and didn't write a review earlier as I thought it wouldn't last.
How wrong I was! It does oven chips, pastries, pizzas, and anything you can put into your oven. The size does restrict the pizzas, and I use the little rounds and build my own.
I don't know how I lived without it and it saves on electricity as you don't have to wait for the pre-oven heating time. Also very easy to clean.
I would recommend this for up to two people. The price is now $89.00, but well worth it.

Happy with my purchase!
Purchased this air fryer during the air fryer craze of 2020, and I'm so glad I did. A year later and our air fryer is still going strong. It is so easy to use and food turns out crispy and delicious with just a spray of oil. For 2 adults plus a toddler the 3.2L is an adequate size. We enjoy cooking homemade chips and nuggets for a quick lunch for the little one, or a large pork roast for the whole family (with the best crackling ever!). It is also super easy to clean and still looks brand new. Would definitely recommend as a budget air fryer for a small family, however a large family would definitely need a bigger size!

Good but not perfect
I have been pleasantly surprised by the results so far. I found that it was quite easy to use, and the basket was not that heavy for me. As it is my first air fryer, I have nothing to compare it to. I would recommend it so far. I found that it was simple and easy to use, and the basket was not that heavy.
The only feature I would have liked is a mid-cycle reminder to give the basket a shake. This minor shortcoming is easily overcome by shortening the cooking cycle and adding it to the end after giving it a shake. Also, I would imagine that ALL air fryers would require a shake during the cooking cycle.
I got mine for $49 as it was on sale, normally they are $59.

Awesome Air Fryer for the price
Been on the fence for awhile so reading other review's here & a FB group I follow decide to jump in. Especially with a run out model at a slightly discounted price. Love the ease to make my own wedges & chips using regular potato & Sweet Potato simply peeling, chopping, tossing in 1-2 teaspoons of melted coconut oil and salt. Preheat for 3 mins, then pop in. Shake about half way through - it's so easy.
Very easy to clean, had a bit of trouble figuring out how to separate basket but got it worked out. Watching a few videos on Kmart Airfryers group was very helpful. Much easier than conventional oven wedges & chips plus now in control of any additives you get from shop made chips or wedges.

It’s wonderful
I use if zucchini chips, regular chips and meatballs mostly. I’ve used it for fish also
It convenient over using my oven - I just quickly was out the basket after use and pop It all away. I wouldn’t consider a more expensive brand as this one has not kissed a beat.

The Future of Cooking
Wow what a product.
Air Fryers are taking over and I’m here for it.
This kitchen appliance has changed my life and made cooking not even more convenient but it’s made my food taste 100X better than it would when cooking with an oven.
It’s a fantastic piece of equipment and so easy to use!
For only $89 I believe it’s definitely worth the value for money.
PS, do a roast chicken in it and thank me later.
