Was told my purchase was available for collection only to find out they cancelled my order
Purchased items from the Kmart Website. I was notified via email that purchase is ready for collection.
After driving 20mins to the kmart store, i was notified by staff member that my order was in fact cancelled. However, i have yet to receive an email that my order has been cancelled. I hope i get my money back.
Shame on you Kmart.

Microwave, looks like a designer one!
Ok, I'll admit i was sceptical because the price was so cheap but once it arrived and I unwrapped it the microwave looked like a designer one. Sleek and shiny and on top pf that it's quiet and runs smoothly! I paid for regular postage so it took a few days to arrive but arrived safely and in perfect condition.

Wont Ship Unless Local Store Has Stock Only-- Don't Bother With Online Store
Love Kmart. But the online store is just terrible. I've been trying to buy these drawers, but my local was sold out. I checked their stock level online and it clearly had stock in my state at some stores a bit far away from me. So I did home delivery, bought some other things, expecting to receive my item. Easy right? Wrong. Within a day they had cancelled the order. Why? They cited lack of stock. So I check the stock levels again. There is clearly stock in the remote stores, and there's also stock in other states. Moreover, the item is able to...be ordered online-- the site itself says it's in stock still, despite their cancellation. I am able to order it again. So I do. Not 24 hours later, they cancel it again. This time they have the foresight to mark the item as 'unavailable online' -- but I've been checking stock levels in other states, and the item is clearly in stock there. In fact, if I changed my postcode, suddenly the item is available again. So basically, despite paying 10 dollars for the privilege of delivery (considering many other sites, including Target offer free delivery over a certain threshold) they basically don't bother checking stores that are further away from you for stock (including in the same state!!) but they also won't send items from other states, period. I looked into their terms, and it states that they basically "we try to source your items from up to three stores. If we can’t secure stock after these attempts, [...] we'll process a refund" So basically, they just check your three closest stores for stock. That's it. That's the only stores they even check. What the heck. If my local store had stock, I'd just buy it from the local store, Kmart. The point of buying online is to be able to source something from a store that I would have difficulty getting to otherwise, etc. Moreover, you gotta pay for the shipping, so them checking the closest stores makes no sense beyond them being pretty lazy and maybe greedy about shipping items out of state. Pretty sad and disappointing and I would not recommend the Kmart Online Store to anyone, unless your local store has stock and you just can't be bothered going there, but event then. Save 10 dollars and just go to the store. And another thing, their cancellations say 'by customer request' -- every time. This is erroneous and pretty annoying. No, you cancelled my order. I didn't request it. So it appears they don't even have a way to put a legitimate reason on the cancellation, they have to put it under a bogus 'customer request' flag, maybe because if they flag it as cancelled by Kmart, it looks bad to the higher ups or something? Seems bizarre to me that their reason for cancellation is to blame me, when its clearly a problem with their stock management and website. Avoid at all costs.
Bad Online Services
FIRST ISSUE: I went to place an order online for delivery. It was mainly back to school stuff - nothing big and bulky at all.
Even though Kmart advertise their delivery at a flat rate of $10, unless its big and bulky items, I noticed my delivery fee was increasing with every item I was adding to my basket.
During checkout, the delivery fee crept from the initial $10, which was fine, to well over $20!!! Now I don't know what Kmart class as "Big and Bulky" but I do not believe that basic school wear would be classed as that.
I ended up...getting a friend to pick up the order in store for me instead as I wasn't going to let Kmart get away with robbing me of my money. SECOND ISSUE: Serious lack of product availability online - too many times I have put items into my shopping basket only to find that during checkout, there is only one or a couple of items available.
Do not use their click and collect service if you don’t have endless time to waste on the phone being passed around from person to person trying to understand what has happened to your order. I received an email stating my order had arrived and was ready for pick up in store.
Thought I’d call the store before going in to make sure the order is there for certain as the email was from their head office and not the actual store. No one in store could track down where the order was. They don’t seem to have an effective system for their click and collect service. Days later i received an email from their courier company asking me where I wanted to my order delivered as it was still in their hands. I’m yet to receive my order!
Kmart took the money, did not deliver the goods then only refunded the delivery charge
I ordered an item with Kmart and the money plus delivery charge was debited from my account. I received a notification say that my order was being processed. After 5 days I went online to try and find out when it would be delivered, only to get a message saying it was out of stock and my money was being refunded.
They only refunded the $10 delivery charge and not the total amount ($79).
I emailed customer service and complained. I have now received a generic impersonal letter saying they were out of stock and money would be refunded.
Kmart has such a great range of home decor that is not only stylish but good quality & great value for money. I’m Never disappointed with my regular online purchases and delivery time is super quick! Featured in my picture is the Kmart tee-pee play tent, koala comforter, table and chair set and the bamboo pot holder.
Able Bodied Customers Only!!
I am truly devastated with my attempt to make some purchases with Kmart online as so many things in my shopping bag all of a sudden after being there on their own, I'd come back to them and then they're 'no longer available online'!!!

My order 39866019 was duly despatched on 30th January with the accompanying text message telling me it was on its way. Tracking shows delivered but it wasn't. Rang Kmart to enquire but all they could tell me was that it was in the hands of the courier. Courier also obviates responsibility. Be wary of Kmart and their inefficient couriers. Beware of Kmart and its poor service recovery. Their Courier is a company called "Couriers Please." Believe me when I tell you there is nothing pleasing about this courier company. I rang them to enquire ...why my order was showing delivered when it wasn't. They had no response. I asked for other options now I had waited in all day for a delivery that didn't show. Nothing could be confirmed as to where is the packages might go and what my responsibility would then be to retrieve it should I not be home when they turned up. Again, no confirmation could be given. Plainly, Kmart has never heard or DHL or Fedex. An important component of the on-line service is the timely and competent delivery, others online merchants do it well - Kmart doesn't!! Once a problem develops their attitude is basically "you are on your own!" Never, ever again, will I give custom to this business, nor their useless courier. I am waiting to see what prevails tomorrow when this order is mean to be delivered - reviews for their courier indicate I may well just get a reminder in my door and no attempt at delivery - even if I am plainly at home.
8 cube unit white cheap & nasty
I tried to put this 8 cube together & the instructions were hopeless. The pictures didn’t match the pieces of wood & the stickers on pieces of wood to identify them had fallen off. This is the first time in 30 years I could put a piece of furniture together. I had to throw it in the bin.

Sure wouldn't buy again - old story ' you get what you pay for'. Very cheap plastic -& I had purchased to complement my stick vacc. This doesn't pick up HALF of what my stick vacc (Electrolux) does. Very poor quality & I'll be giving to nearest Op SHop (& will feel bad even doing that). Never again.....
Click and collect - terrible!
I ordered 15 items through click and collect, website said all items were available at the store. When I received my email to collect my order there were only 3 items in it! It said the rest would be delivered, however I receive an email the next day all would be refunded. Feels like the staff member/s couldn’t be bothered sourcing my items!
