Bad very bad service
Purchased a Trampoline for my kids birthday and they told it will be there by the birthday and it never arrived.
They have a pathetic service provider in Allied express who do not know what's happening with orders
Online shopping is terrible
Stop advertising products that aren’t available. I made an online click and collect order because the stores never have stock. They take the money out of your account and then email you saying it’s unavailable. Kmart never has stock which is annoying. This is totally unprofessional
It's 2020 and Kmart can't sort it out
Half my order was refunded a week after ordering as it was out of stock. 3 weeks later the other half was refunded as they never bothered to send it. You would think online sales are easy. Pack and ship. But apparently that's too hard for Kmart in 2020.
Sad thing is Kmart is a huge store, well presented on the commercials and everywhere but online service is a FAIL :(
I recently ordered some things from Kmart online this would be my second time. The first time was good but the second time was awful :( so I spent a fair bit on the Kmart website due to the COVID-19 no stores were open in Vic so I had no choice but to order online. Process was quick etc.. but it wasn’t sent around Melbs it was sent to Adelaide . Two orders on there wasn’t processed because they didn’t have them in stock over there but then they said it was sent to Blacktown somewhere in Sydney then when I rang them they said something different...every time. So apparently they said it’s been cancelled without notice and there were going to give me a full refund on it. Nothing happened after a couple of days so I rang them again same story you need to wait 2-5 business days for the refund it’s been sorted! Nope!! Didn’t believe them they said they will send me a confirmation of the refund nope! :( FFS .. frustrating ,, 10 days later... still chasing them.. I had to ring the actual Adelaide store to sort things out or else I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere.. so the lady was so nice she rang on my behalf then crap got sorted. So now the waiting game... 2-5 business days to get my $50..(finally just gotten my refund Nov 3rd this happened since 20/10/2020). please save you a huge hassle and pain to get your shopping done do it in store EASIER! Please don’t go through crap that I went through.. at the end of the day it’s your money! Fight for it till end ,, well till you can’t take it no more.. KMART SHAME ON YOU! Train your staff better ,, maybe put experience staff on in the future.. it’s 2020 everyone shops online so bump up your services online and in store.

Goods returned at point of collection but never refunded
This was paid through PayPal. When I went to Broadbeach Kmart to pick up the click and collect, I saw the child’s shoes were not suitable and choose another 2 pairs. The man at your customer service where I picked up the parcel, took my money for the newly selected and I returned the online purchase to him. He said he couldn’t refund direct to me and had entered the return into the computer (but Kmart never refunded). The shoes were $8 (the amount an honest Kmart would refund me) and $3 for shipping charge. I’m only asking for the $8.

Orders are taken more than two weeks to be processed, even when the policy time is same between 48-72 hours. In addition, the online call center is not helpful at all, they can’t provide any solution, not even speaking to a higher employee who can provide better customer service enquiry.

I was wanting a refund on a click and collect item before I even picked it up. I was told it’s couldn’t happen because it was “TOO MESSY” to do a refund on an online order... not good enough
Good arrive damaged.
I bought two clothes airer racks from KMART online.
One was faulty and could not be assembled to stand up firmly - this was a production line problem. When I phoned up, customer service was fine, and told me they would refund it, but they dont take returns. Great, now I had rubbish to get rid of.
Then I started opening out the next one, and it was damaged. It was an extendable dryer, and one of the rods had been bent and crimped. So not extendable any more.
Then I noticed that the faulty one had also been damaged similarly. Both had metal tubes.
KMART has just packed them in bubble wrap and taped it up in a plastic bag. So a second piece of unusable junk.
worst customer service, cheap nasty products
Worst experience and terrible quality products. I purchased appliances from Kmart about 3 months ago via afterpay. I paid the account in total within 3 weeks of purchase. Within 4 weeks all the appliances had broken. I took them back within the 3 month warranty period and I'm still awaiting my refund!!!! Unbelievable! I will never deal with this company again. Kmart was bought out and is now run by a completely different manufacturer and in a completely different country to what it was. You can't speak to anyone Australian to rectify issues. Another great company lost to offshore cheap nasty corporations seeking to maximize profits, all in all, Kmart has the nastiest range of stuff I've seen and I refuse to shop there anymore.
Absolutely appalling disgusting customer service
Paid for an order online & the couriers that they use “Couriers Please” which are just as bad as K-Mart!!!
I have rung K-Mart to get issue resolved as I have paid them for the product however they have washed there hands of the issue. To get to even speak to a manager takes a call back that could be days later (if your lucky) & still no outcome.
Do not use this company or order online as they have no customer service or care about there customers.
Waste of time
I bought a mirror online and went thru click and collect I get home to find the mirror is in fact Cracked. I called obviously FURIOUS and they told me there’s a weeks wait and that I’d have to pick it up. As though it was MY fault they gave me a faulty product. Would not Buy again
Just purchased some items online the products are ok for the value the of the product, the issue here is if you purchase online there is no return option and if you do choose to return via post, it would be at your expense not Kmart, will never buy from them again online, best buy elsewhere
Received Damaged items, Received no refund!!
Received damaged items, when I asked for a replacement, I got Told they can only give refunds. Been over a month now and I still have no Refund. They even stopped replying back to my email. Honesty from a big business like that would be recommended. Very disappointing.
Placed an order for 20 items. Over the next few days most of the items were cancelled by Kmart one by one. I got the gift bags but not the gifts. Returned one faulty item almost 2 weeks ago, which I had to physically return to my nearest store. Still waiting for my refund. Avoid at all cost! Complete waste of time. Very stressful experience.
Avoid Kmart online - Horrible communication and customer care.
Ordered online during COVID lockdown.
We were told the order was cancelled, but we were still charged. The item did eventually arrive, but after when we needed it (we had to purchase another).
The customer care team was very unhelpful, taking weeks between replies. No resolution, no refund. Nothing.
Kmart online is useless
Ordered a vacuum cleaner and a few other products. Other products arrive but no vacuum cleaner. When we rang we were told non available but could get our money back. That was 2 weeks ago and still no refund not even a reply.
Negligent packaging & appalling customer service
I purchased multiple items online for home delivery. This is the second time that disgracefully poor wrapping & packing has resulted in smashed items. In addition the surviving coffee mugs were different colours. All of my attempts over the last FOURTEEN (14) DAYS at making contact online, via Facebook & via PayPal have been met with silence & ‘undeliverable’ messages. Just the most disgracefully inept, inappropriate & unacceptable behaviour by a retailer I have ever come across. It is not worth the cheap prices or ‘in’ products. It is a waste ...of hard earned money, time & emotions. KMart needs to be ashamed of itself. UPDATE: Kmart’s poor behaviour continues, with PayPal enabling them. They have given me 3 choices - nothing, a 20% refund or a 100% refund but only if I return all items unused, which isn’t possible because they have ignored me for so long, I just binned the smashed items & have made the most of the remaining rubbish. They forgot my 4th choice - all 3 of the ACCC, AFCA & ASIC.
Order delivered to another state !
Ordered Easter gifts 28 March - received email on 30 March saying items had been sent. When nothing had been received, logged on to find that delivery had been attempted however incomplete address had been provided (I provided full and correct address so was either a KMART or Australia post error). Tracking stated item was returned to KMART and advised I should contact KMART. Which I did. No response. A week later, I contacted KMART again. A week after my 2nd contact attempt, received a curt email stating that the item had been delivered....I re-checked my front door, front yard, neighbours' front yards ... and Aust Post tracking (which had been updated since I contacted KMART initially) and Aust Post stated my package had been delivered to a suburb in a different state to which I live! How insanely lax of KMART customer service to declare the item had been delivered to me, when in truth it appears its ended up in an entirely different state. Everyone is facing challenges at this point in time, however there is no excuse for this - this is just plain and simple ridiculously lazy customer service. At a time when everyone should be pulling together, companies with lousy customer service appear to be at their absolute worst. I hope the recipient in the other state who received my goods enjoys the easter gifts that never made it to my family.
Unresponsive Customer Service
I placed an order for a couple of items including a marble tumbler which arrived damaged. I immediately contacted the customer service stating that the Item arrived damaged and is not save to be kept at home with kids around. It's been 4 days and nobody has replied to me.
Terrible Click and Collect experience
I placed a click and collect order on the Kmart website for collection at their Top Ryde store. On the website, all products were shown as available. When we went to collect the order, two products were not in the package. I was told they would be delivered to my house at no extra cost. This would be ideal if the product was not at the store but the missing two products were on the counter next to my order bag. The man working behind the counter refused to give it to me, telling me I had to wait for it to be delivered. They didn’t even make an effort to help out.
I thought Kmart was awesome, but....
I love to hate Kmart. Awesome stuff, great price etc etc but when I wanted a particular item and the website said my closest store was in stock I traveled the hour long trip to buy it. But no. All stock was on hold and I left empty handed. At least update your website otherwise what point of having it
I had purchased an "Industrial 4 tier bookshelf" from Kmart online. On looking at the product it looked perfect for what I wanted to use it for. Purchased and had the bookshelf delivered. Received the product delivered promptly by Kmart, how ever after an hour or so of getting the bookshelf together I found that the holes were not drilled in the correct places to screw the inside retailing sleeves into the turing of the bookshelf. After contacting Kmart online I decided to return to the nearest store and take another home with me, which I did. ...I found the second bookshelf was also poorly manufactured, due to holes being drilled on the wrong side of the tubing to screw the cross brace onto the back. Not a complaint about Kmart customer service I received a refund, however I had spent 2 days messing around with the same product and received two faulty items. My suggestion to Kmart is to monitor your suppliers for quality of products. I think to get 2 faulty products one from in store and one from online, leaves some unanswered questions about your suppliers. Unfortunately you have lost me as a customer.
Tried to palm off damaged goods
Purchased a large kitchen playset for click and collect. Received email and SMS notifying me the next day it was ready for pickup. When I went in-store the employee brings out a badly damaged box and a letter taped to it stating the playset was not damaged. When looking through the ripped cardboard you can see that the wooden panels were completely smashed. Pointed this out to the employee who then simply stated it's the last one in stock as if that made it acceptable. Waste of a trip to a store and then having to wait for the money to be refunded. Worst service by uncaring staff.

I was initially impressed with how smooth the ordering process was, but I then realised the only quick part about this whole process was giving them my money.
Unsure why they use Allied Express as their couriers , my order was split into two deliveries as I ordered large items. The first delivery was fine , however the courier marked everything as delivered. I contacted them regarding my missing items and they were delivered the following business day however I advised the driver on the spot the consignment number was different & when I open...ed it I showed it was not my order. Driver refused to care or help, marked as delivered and left. (I did not sign) I contacted Kmart regarding my missing item as it turns out the driver left it at another persons address (probably the person who’s order I had) I was advised by Kmart customer service team “were still within our 3-5 business days so you just have to wait” which firstly annoyed me a lot as I work and was hoping to get the house set up. When I asked how I can go about returning the order that doesn’t belong to me so the other customer isn’t let down , they said it didn’t matter to just keep it if I like ? (If they said that to someone regarding my order I’d freak, especially since the incorrect order I received belonged to a child) that was my first online ordering experience with Kmart and is DEFINITELY my last !
Wash & soak jar fail
I Ordered the wash and soak jars that were released but out of stock in stores. Online said they were available so ordered 3 of each for my gf’s and I. When the order came there was 1 wash and 2 soak. 1 wash and 1 soak were smashed to bits. Took them to my local Kmart they returned my money but couldn’t get me anymore. The items where wrapped in a plastic bag inside a box bigger than the items. What a waste of time, product & postage. Very disappointed with the service.
