Terrible online experience and delivery
I did read the reviews before I did a online order and they weren’t good and now I understand why. The website is really poor especially when you get to the checkout then it shows you the items that aren’t in stock which for a large company I’m surprised how bad the online website is. I’ve done my online order and I received a email saying when it was been delivered with a tracking number, I’ve been checking the tracking and my parcel has not even moved or left and now I receive a email from Kmart saying that there has been a hold up with my or...der and if I don’t have it by a certain date to contact them and they will look into it. I can’t understand how bad their logistics are compared to all the other online orders I have done with both large and small companies and I’ve never thought Kmart delivery service would be so bad. I tried to do click and collect but the website wouldn’t allow me that service. Very dissatisfied, disappointed, unhappy, frustrated customer and I know there is heaps more customers feeling the same way. Get your act together Kmart as it wasn’t that many years ago that your business was struggling

Bad product quality and horrible experience while returning
I have bought 20 glass cannisters from kmart in both small and large sizes. I thought quality will be good. Visually it did look nice, as per instruction I washed 2 of the small containers and 2 of the large containers.
The wooden lids reeked of badly after washing. I can't explain the smell but it is not something that you want to store food in. Washed it around 4-5 times and still it smell persists. More so when it is wet. Finally decided to return the rest of the unopened ones.
Lost my whole order
After 3 weeks and 2 complaints they told me that my item's were lost,, not sure where. I ordered something on 13th Sept and received an email saying I will receive a tracking number in 3 days. it didnot happen. After I enquired on 20th Sept about my item's, they provided me a tracking number which was not working. They told me that they shipped my item's half and hour ago so may be that's why the tracking number is not working but will work after few hours. I received another email saying the items will be delivered at multiple times- fair enou...gh,, the store might not have all the items i ordered at s same time. after another 2 weeks i received only 1 item and my other 12items gone missing. When I made an enquiry, they said it's lost in transit and told me that they will refund. Of course they have to refund because I didnot receive anything but I don't need refund I need my item's. When I asked them to provide me replacement items as I still need them, they said I need to repurchase them. What a customer service. First u lose my order and second after 3 -4 weeks u ask me to order again and ask me to wait another 3-4 weeks. Never had such experience before.
Ordered a couple of packets of mosquito coils and an electric mixer, coming from a kmart just outside of our LGA, about 10kms away. Two weeks later, the mosquito coils finally arrive, but without the mixer, it's supposedly being delivered next week. Why they couldn't send these items together is beyond me. Last time for KMart, wouldn't use them again if my life depended in it.
41 days later and still waiting….
I ordered items from the on-line store on the 21st August. I am still waiting for it to arrive despite at least 5 inquiries from my side. I receive a generic email apologising for delays and saying it is expected on the 1st Sept. We are now in October. Beyond disappointing.
Blocking refund requests
I've usually shopped in store and been aware of the low price for zero quality trade-off, however this is the first time I've noticed their sneaky blocking of returns.
Received a defective product so lodged a return request which they advise will be 2-3 days. Two weeks later - no response. I go again to their form and hidden in tiny writing is an implication that they will not accept refunds without photos, but not explicitly stated so they can hope that people just give up without a response. I attempted to upload photos of the issue but all...the file types I tried were not accepted! It says "refer to file type list" with no list anywhere on the page. A very sneaky way of refusing to accept any returns at all. Won't be shopping there again at all - a huge gamble if you get anything resembling the product at all.
Kmart doesn't deliver
Placed the order on 6th of September, today is 28th and the order is still not even packed. Staff bluntly refused to refund the money till the PayPal claim has been lodged.
Kmart face masks, where are they ?
Tried ordering click & collect for a box of face masks. What a mistake that was, it’s been a month and still nothing.
Went from click & collect to a delivery way back, can’t remember!
Annoying do not reply’s from Kmart and Australia Post, no way to contact anyone.
Some businesses can operate this online model and others can’t, Kmart should not offer this service as they just aren’t any good at it.
The absolute disdain with which they treat customers is abysmal.
I demand a refund as you can’t deliver on your promise.
Kmart delivery fail
It took 25 days to deliver an item I could have got from my local store if not for Covid. Items were left outside in plain sight when it was about to rain. Unboxed to find glass jars shattered, clothing without any packaging entangled in the glass. Contacted customer support who offered to only refund the glass jars even though clothing was covered in glass. I advise not to buy online from these guys.
Worst online service
Always have a poor experience when ordering online for delivery. It takes so much longer than the time they say to even get the order out the door. Been waiting a week with no updates, and am still waiting 8 weeks for a missing piece from an order from months ago. Thought I would try click and collect, ordered prior to 12pm for pick up by 4pm. It’s the next day and still no update as to when the order will be ready.

online item damaged NO HELP FOR REPLACEMENT OR REFUND
I purchased 3 bicycles online and a few other items to the amount of around $600, when they were delivered i assembled all 3. I noticed when i took of the 74cm everest bikes out of the box it had a flat front tire. I thought it just needed air so i pumped it up but it turns out the tube was punctured for an unknown reason around the valve. I tried to contact kmart through their phone number, i was left on hold nearly an hour only to speak to someone who couldnt come up with a resolution. I contacted them through their sms service and provided p...hotos, yet every time a different person would respond and had no idea what was going on. I emailed their online service team 3x and still no response. I called again and finally spoke to a lady who said she would talk to her supervisor and call me back within 5 minutes. That was 4 days ago and i heard nothing. As i live in a locked down LGA i am not able to leave to take the bike back to kmart, which shouldnt have to anyway as the first person i spoke to told me they could arrange frieght to have the faulty bike picked up and replace it for me. This did not happen. So i purchased another tube from big w, wasted more money on an item that should be in good condition, only for it to puncture aswell which means the rim must be faulty. Someone through the SMS service told me my inquiry had been sent for a refund, this didnt happen either. Absolutely hopeless online team and supervisors, if there are any. Worst online shopping experience ever. Here i am nearly 4 weeks later after purchasing these bikes, with one sitting there with a busted tire as kmart has not offered to help/replace anything and left it up to me to do it myself. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE BUY FROM SOMEEWHERE ELSE, the off chance you end up with a dud youre screwed if youre in a covid locked down LGA.
You've been warned
I know you are still going to order with Kmart (thumbs down) online but you should know a scam they are doing.... Ordered a bed frame, mattress and a heap of bedding, pillows, sheets sets etc though Kmart online. Paid around $150 for the delivery fee. Got an email to say the frame wasn't coming as out of stock. Ok, annoying as I've just ordered these items for my mother who lives in regional Qld with a broken leg. So all the items coming with no frame. After waiting on hold forever and smsing what I clearly thought was a bot (happened to be a r...eal human I found out - who would have known with so many SMS templates and not even communicating properly), the operator tells me I can't claim back any of the delivery fee!!! So deliver is free for items over $65 and I pay an extra $75 for each bulky item ($75 for mattress, $75 for frame) and now they won't refund on the $75 for the frame - a frame that's no longer coming. After telling the operator that they are scamming people and I was going to report them to consumer affairs - ooh look, a refund of $57 now comes though. I was appalled by this conduct of business. I told the operator that there is vulnerable people out there and people whose English isn't very good and you are pulling this trick on people like them. Lucky I know my consumer rights and understand some of the law relating refunds. Kmart you should be ashamed and you have the nerve to say on the on hold messages about integrity and professionalism. Yeah right. Take that down. Disgusting scam
Goods never arrived its now 3 weeks
Ordered kids bike on 28th August 21 and bike accessories. Two weeks later small box arrives with accessories. Bike has not arrived. Label on small package said 1 of 2 boxes yet I only received one. Now kmart blaming Allied Express and Allied Express blaming Kmart. Sick of constantly chasing for an update. It's now three weeks and bike has still not arrived.
Only able to communicate with Kmart via sms. Poor service.

Do not support this company. Their online order processing department is almost non-existent. No delivery information sent out after waiting for almost a week. I had to keep calling them up multiple times to request for delivery details. Customer service attendants were absolutely unhelpful and unenthusiastic. The online order finally arrived after 2 weeks, however 1 item was missing. Called them up again and they said it will arrive by the end of last week. It did not. Called them up again today and they sent message said their system indicated the item was delivered. However providing no proof of delivery. Scam.

First and last time i will ever deal with Kmart online
I went and bought a simple $49 dollar blender mixer from Kmart 31/08/2021, paid my $49.00 and $14.00 shipping for it so all up $63.00, five days later received an email with, great news your order is packed and on its way, with here is your tracking number through Allied Express. Well problem is I look up with Allied Express they have not received it from K-mart to deliver it that was over two weeks ago, so I rang K-mart customer service their online store who checked it out and said your order has been done possibly Allied Express have not up...dated their tracking on it, well here we are 3 weeks later still they have not received it from K-mart to deliver it to me, All Kmart said was give it another three weeks if it has not come we will gladly do a refund, another three weeks you are joking right, I will never buy another item from them again I should have stayed loyal to Target, I order from them and it is here in four days never a problem. So K-mart has lost my business with them and as for recommendation on them , they need to change who they use as a courier, cause Allied Express they were saying themselves are not very reliable to deal with, Shop elsewhere would be my recommendation stay away, go

Their real time stock availability is full of crap! A year on since they made news headlines for this same issue, it’s still happening. Get your act together Kmart! Waste our time ordering goods and advising available to proceed to check out and says items not available instore
Appalling customer service on the phone, no response to emails/messages. Still haven't received 3 out of 4 supposedly click and collect products.
Terrible customer service
I understand it’s covid delayed on delivery. But there are reasonable timeline or at least able to have a valid tracking number. They provided a tracking number which unable to track, just bring me direct to CourierPlease website, but no information show.
I contacted customer service via website, email, text, very slow to get the response, finally got one but they basically said they have to wait to the response from courier and get back to me which they never did. I contacted again and still not get any answer. Kmart ignore their customer now.
$75 DOWN THE DRAIN 2 months no delivery kmart no comments,,Australia post couldn't care less refered me back to kmart never again
No customer service
I had the same experience as Steve R below. Put order in, order emailed confirmation, no call about pickup, no record of order. Email arrived a few days later saying to ring urgently so rang up customer service, told there was short waiting time, after waiting almost an hour pressed text option and heard nothing back. Later when I did get a text it was about store hours. I texted back order number and details again and still no answer. Kmart needs a good shake up of it's customer service people as they are not doing their job. It's the polar opposite of their recorded self congratulatory messages.
Many products unavailable with no communication
I placed an order for click and collect, I then received a text saying some of my items were ready for collection. There was no way to work out which items were unavailable prior to picking up the order. I had to tick of each item from the initial invoice and work out what was missing myself. I then get an email the next day saying the missing items are unavailable for click and collect but it doesn’t give me any additional information and so I don’t know if I am being refunded or if these items will be posted to me which is very unhelpful because I can’t work out if I should reorder somewhere else.
I don’t recommend using the online store. Kmart has a lot of work to do to make this service a less frustrating one for customers.
