Very Average kogan series 5 DH5000 24 inch
My model is series 5 DH 5000 24 inch I thought for the price it would be average but this is very average there has never been a truer saying you get what you pay for and that's right. The picture is ok but the audio is an absolute shocker wouldn't buy again. Allan
Good for PlayStation 4
Originally I bought this for my 2-system setup (My PC and PS4). It's good for PS4 (can run resolution at 1080p) but the VGA (analog) port / connection for PC can only display at 1024 x 768 resolution. I'm not sure if it's because of the Kogan TV itself or my VGA cable or my PC graphics card (my GPU supports VGA resolution up to 2048x1536). Other than that, it's a good TV for PS4. Very good price and very light too.

Great value small TV
We needed to replace an old 22" TV in our kitchen, space only for a 24" screen. This unit is full HD and displays the HD channels that were switched to mp4 compression a few years ago. The picture is surprisingly good though like most small backlit LCD TVs the colour fades if you view much off-axis, not a problem for our corner location.
There is a built-in DVD player that we won't be using, also a PVR function (BYO USB storage) that we have not tried. A picture freeze button on the remote is handy for holding reports one may want more ti...me to read in detail. The features are comprehensive but it is not a wi-fi smart TV, so a separate box like a Telstra TV needs to be connected to the single HDMI input for services like Netflix. Knowing that small TVs inevitably have poor sound I wanted one with an earphone jack (surprisingly hard to find), i.e. with volume controlled by the remote, to connect some spare Yamaha auto-standby powered computer speakers I had. With inbuilt onscreen tone controls including a seven-band graphic equaliser, the resulting sound is very good. The remarkable part is that the cost was only $139. Very happy. I hope the TV lasts!
