Love this vacuum! Developed a fault after it ran out of warranty and was replaced after a couple of emails.
Great little lightweight vacuum that has fantastic suction - great for picking up cat hair, fill up the whole tank in one vacuum session. Bought the Pro version with extra filters and a spare battery. Battery lasts about 15 minutes on high power, only setting we use. Used on tiles and carpet. However, it is made out of cheap plastic. The button has come off and now the stick part of the vacuum won’t stay in, making it useless. I’ve had it just over 14 months. Would expect it to last longer than this for over $200. Contacted Kogan and they said it’s out of warranty and said they won’t fix it or send a replacement part. After another email stating the Consumer Credit Code they are replacing it : )

Good suction but let down by cheap and poor quality plastics
After the 1st C10 failed due to breakage of plastic components, Kogan reluctantly replaced with a new C10. Whilst the suction is good and battery life as well, the whole thing is let down by poor quality plastics which make up the majority of components. So in under 2 years, I now have two C10's that barely work

Just unboxed and first impressions are very good.
The vac came partly charged so I thought I’d fire it up and see how it went. First impressions: works great on my wooden floors, the full width headlight is amazingly effective (how did I do without one?), the weight distribution is fine, the trigger stays on so you can relax your grip on the handle, it’s easy to empty (both the quick dust dump and the more thorough clean), the wall mount is good, and the accessories are going to be very useful. Battery life is yet to be determined but in my small house with wood floors, this thing will do fine...
Read more. I recently used a Dyson in an Airbnb and I came away wanting a good cordless to replace my cheap cordless (basically a dustbuster with a long handle), but can’t afford Dyson’s prices. This vac, with a Black Friday discount, looks to be a very acceptable substitute. It was delivered in perfect condition.Purchased in November 2021 for $179.

Suction not great, would not recommend
This vacuum was great when we first got it as its so easy to use instead of a cord vacuum. However, the suction isn't great and if you use the extreme suction, it only lasts about 10mins.
The smaller vacuum option for cleaning cars and couches etc, is not even worth it. We still use our old vacuum for that.
You have to constantly empty it, especially if your have dogs and dog hair. It also doesn't pick up sand very well.
Bit disappointed in this product especially as it has great reviews.

Just as good as my Dyson!
Amazed at how well this stick vacuum performs.
Strong suction, long battery life and excellent build quality.
Doesn't feel 'cheap' at all.
Picks up Dog hair like a dream. (I have 2 high-shedding Dogs)
Saw it on sale and thought I'd give it a try. Pleasantly surprised.
I use it on carpet and hardwood floors in my home. Works very well on both.

Well worth the money when on sale
Had several stick vacs, and as I can't afford a Dyson series stick vac, I'm always looking for value and performance.
The kogan C10 pro is a very good contender, the suction power is very very good, even more so on boost. Very long run time on standard setting, around 40 to 50 minutes. On boost, around 20 minutes. They state less times but those times are from my experience. No need to buy replacement filters that's a bonus, as all are washable, and 1 is stainless steel.
Has charging wall dock and 2 extra fittings for dusting etc. The build q...

Read more Either buy a new vacuum cleaner or become a handyperson. Mine broke at the head end and I removed the entire mount and replaced it with 2 sections of plumbing pipe so that I have an interference fit. It is much more robust than the floppy design of the C and T10 head as the joint gets stress every time you lift the vacuum head. Rubbish designs are always going to break even when they look good, there are design flaws which make a product cheaper as the flaws are not in the motor or suction quality. This vacuum is good but you have to do some work to make it last its lifetime. If you decide to fix it the actual spring hinge is not worth triying to repair. I originally used a bunch of heavy rubber bands on the closed clip end to hold the clip closed but the pins will eventually break and it will fall appart. It is better to remove the entire housing early on and glue a (read entire description) flanged plumbing tube onto the outer pipe. A flanged tube is tappered through the inner or outer to fit to another tappered tube of similar size allowing a pipe to be extended without a great adjustment of diameter. Glue to the vacuum pipe another whuich fits snuggly over or inside the first head fitted pipe. Do not use PVA plastic as it is static and collects dust. Do the same again on the body and the other end of the pipe fittings so that all accessories work properly together. The best result is finding either pool or caravan plumbing flanged pipe which requires small diameter pipe connections. Alternately buy 2 pipes desiged to connect to eachother and drill a pin slot through the connected joint. Then buy a round steel rod cut to size to fit as a pin through the housing holes. Bend one end 90 degrees and use a thread the other for a wingnut to fix that end. Make sure you drill through both saides of pipes connected, at center the pin will hold the pipe on both sides as this is not as stable as the first option but suitable if flange pipe is not possible. NOTE: This is more fiddly because the pin needs to be fixed with a thread and wingnut to hold in place and the connecting/disconnecting requires the pin to be rewmoved each time. These methods will not wear out or get stressed and maintain the accessories you use regularly which get damaged easily. The reason you dont see these design fixes on vacuum cleaners today is because the manufacture design is a terminal one to sell junk design to a mass market of mostly lazy users. They make them to break. You end up paying more for less in this world today but it doesn't have to be that way. Make a complaint. Tell buyers why your product failed. People are too lazy to even stayte wghat they found to be the flaw of undoings but instead make remarks which are somewhat vented stupidity. The rest of us can do the following quite easily. Technicians can cut the head and remodel the entire fitting from spare parts or engineer an entirely new design. This is highly intrusive and requires very precise technical skill and toolings, maybe even lathing to change pipe fitting diameter if using aluminum or metals instead of plastics. But in doing it this way, any proper fitting can be replaced entirely with another more reliable fitting even swapping out or changing the functional parts which break easily to something which functions in a way that it cannot break. Fixing vacuum parts is easy as they are mechanical not electronic. But on the C and T model vacuum you must make sure the electronics are functional. This addes a problem for most handypersons. The pin connector must be retained and transfered or replaced properly electrical circuitry tested, so as the control electronics are correct and the connectors are recognised when parts use power will run correctly. The replacing of a joint connector must be 100% correct when electricity is channelled to the head power rollers. The easiest way to keep your vacuum running is to look after it. Carelessness creates damage. And if you find a weakness in its design, what do you do? You inherit that design flaw. Look at it next time and devise a way to make that flaw less a problem longterm. Anyone reading this should note to remind oneself to test before buying and read reviews by other buyer/.users of that device, as there is a used by date on the workings you cannot extend beyond a certain point without some significant abilities.Get an answer from our members and Kogan representatives
