So far so good
Bought this dash camera for a family member and installed it in her car. Much easier to install than the Kogan wireless reverse camera that I have installed on my car and reviewed last year. Has a lot of excess wire that has to be cable-tied under seats, but better that than not enough. The screen is small, but sufficient, the tie-in to the reverse light took about 20 minutes of fiddling, but ended up being easy.
Rather buy a car with factory fitted cameras, etc, as is much neater, but if you didn't, well these cameras will do the job for not...
Questions & Answers
I have an issue with the SD card. Everytime i start the car again, it says to insert the SD car. I press ok and it works fine. Anyone else having this issue?
No I haven’t had that problem. The SD card did miss its slot once and end up rattling around inside which was disappointing. Was easy to unclip the camera body and retrieve card though.
I had that too but got it back. It does work when i press the Menu button, in saying that i have to do that everytime i restart the car.
How do you turn the screen display off while driving as it is distracting ?
