Stopped working after 10 uses – I purchased this product approx 8 months ago. I have sent 3 complaints to kogan with no resolution so far. The vacuum works OK, I typically have to reset the device each time I need to vacuum which is annoying. As for the mop function it was working however now it won't work at all, despite doing a reset and a hard reset of the device. It starts to clean the mop pads and then just goes back to charging.

I spent almost 900 on this device and I only purchased it for the mop function and it has only worked about 10 times.

Have contacted kogan support several times and not getting any responses other than the standard troubleshooting response

Let down by one massive design fault – EDIT2: I have ended up with a refund. I am happy that I was able to get one and I also noticed they have marked them as out of stock just after the review I have left and all the details of the major design fault. Im hoping they are going to redraw them from the sale and come out with a redesign as it was a good unit other than it sucking water up into a compartment shared with electrical components. The after-service support was a 3/5 rating as communication stopped after I had the unit dispatched for repair and the only way I could make contact again was by raising a new ticket which was annoying. I originally wanted to get a store credit to buy another system from Kogan. Still, after the lack of support and communication, I opted for a refund so I could buy from a retailer with a phone number!

EDIT: The item is going back to be "repaired" which I explained that it would not be able to be repaired. I will update you on this post. I have personally asked for a credit so I can buy another product.

I have also uploaded a new video explaining why the dust box needs to be independent of electrical components and why muddy sludge is accumulating in the dust box and causing issues!

The issue with this machine is the dust box. You can not wash it at all as it contains the vacuum motor and mopping motors all in one unit which stops you from being able to clean it properly. The other issue is that because it does travel over its own path, it sucks up water and then makes mud in the box which you can't clean because of the design of the duct box. This then stops the automatic dust emptying as it gets blocked with wet dust and sludge. Also, consumables are very expensive as Kogan is the only seller of them. It does work well as a vacuum only although the dust bag design is also poor as it can't fill a dust bag before the bag is full as the "suction" for the dust bag comes from the bottom so once the base of the bag is full, it stops working effectively needing you to replace the bag before its even 1/3 full.

Setting out mapping is easy and quite smart, I do like the app and I like the functions of the machine. The battery life is also really good. it can vacuum my whole large house and have half its battery left still even though I have the suction on the highest setting. The self-drying mopping system is also heated so it's effective at drying the pads. I feel that if this unit had an independent dust box like every other robot vac I have used then this actually would make a much better product and would have made it next to perfect!

Would I buy another one? No! Not even if they were $500!

The fact that you can not wash the dust box is a massive downside and it's made worse by its own ingress of water that will cause issues for it in the future.

I have contacted Kogan about this, I'll update the outcome however I think they will do nothing about this as an issue has not happened yet

Awful experience and shoddy product – Auto-wash mop broke 2 days into using it. Kogan has gotten rid of phone customer service. I had to wait a full month for a refund. The customer services agents made multiple mistakes in their emails and attempted to send me a replacement instead of a refund. Robot itself also gets confused by chairs and stuck. I had to save it every single time it ran (4 times) in the 2 days I had it. Didn't clean the floors well either. Buy something else, you won't regret it, because I 100% regret buying this.
