Won’t climb walls and get stuck in corners
Brought the unit 2 days ago.
I’ll run you through the set up and my thoughts through the process.
Following the instructions was easy enough but;-
1. thought the flexible piece that goes on top of the tank would be the first point of failure as it’s pretty weak.
2. Attaching to the vacuum plate the smart valve is a 45deg fitting so the hose sits proud and rubs on the top of the skimmer box, another possible point of failure due to rubbing and the bend to get it out of the skimmer. Should be a 90deg.
3. On first connection the unit wouldn’t move...
Purchased in October 2021 for $850.
Bought this and wouldn't move. Took it in for warranty repairs and they said it was fine and it would work with my pool pumps.
Replaced it with another standard kreepy krauly product that works fine.
TECHNOLOGY not quite there yet.
Purchased in December 2020 for $800.
Cleaner gets stuck all the time it’s faster to manually vacuum the pool. The flex hose perishes very quickly. For the amount of money this cleaner cost it’s a very poor performer.
Purchased in November 2019.
Not that good
Gets stuck in the corners of pool and steps, constantly checking it to make sure it is working, exhausting for a business operater in a caravan park. Have contacted company twice, Kreepy Krauly-but no response to date. The joiner between the hose and the skimmer box plate doesn't last either, need a knew one already and only six months old, air getting sucked in. Very disappointed for $850.
Purchased in August 2020 for $850.
