The best experience i have ever had getting a loan. Bent over backwards to get my loan approved and made it an effortless and stress free for me. Highly Recommend.
Have called several times to change email address. Which have been told every time was done. Finally gave up and called the complaints department. Was told would get call back from supervisor and did not. Once I finally demanded to speak to supervisor. Found not only email but home address incorrect. Did not pay last bill cause I could not log on to account due to errors and I get hit on credit file. Bloody terrible service. They don't care and I got a lecture from customer service about how to live my life.
August 21st 2019 Update: Beyond a j...oke Like the previous review. Have tired to update email my email address. Was unable to do it on line so called several times. Was also told it was done each time. After 10 call in one week and finally getting an Australian. Something was done, by this time the payment was overdue and effected my credit report. Worst experience ever had. Typical American company Zero customer service. Zero care
Latitude deplorable credit management
Do not use this company if you miss a payment but have made previous well in advance payments e.g monthly payment is $50 and you have been paying up to $250 in advance each month and then you miss for 2 months as I was overseas they will put a poor performance record on your credit file. They are rude to deal with both overseas and local management. Management called me after receiving my complaint through the Regulators and was pushing for me to go my credit file and give an extract f the file they placed on credit reporting service. They ...could not be bothered doing the work. As soon as you questioned them they became rude and accused me of raising my voice. They do not like the questions back at them. They stated I had a good history but on signing their privacy file. They had the right to disclose what they see fit. Do not use this company. They will credit list you if you miss a single payment. They told me it was their right to disclose non payment. This will affect any loans you apply for the next 2 years.
Disgusting service don't trust this company
Recently we had a dispute raised as one of this banks customer did transaction with us and later disputed charge back without any issues or reason provided all the proofs of delivery and transaction to this company and they refused to claim it, Fake Company beware.

Went for "Apple interest free" and no one even told me I was approved until two years later when applying for a new mortgage - I had no idea I had the credit. Trying to cancel the card and get a etter of closure is next to impossible.
Support is entirely outsourced to India and pretty much useless.
Despite many assurances, no letter of closure has been received.

Still waiting for a refund on account late fees from last year. How many tens of thousands of accounts did you sting when you changed your terms/due dates last year. Apparently you have our email addresses. How hard would it be to notify by email. But no, you choose to post it on the end of an online statement. Your business practices are unethical at best and probably illegal.
Latitude Financial is just GE except nastier and hungrier. They have flash advertising, but it is actually a terrible contract. We have had a Creditline card for over 15 years. The first period it was just other Credit Card. In the last few years their business model must have changed as fees started popping up for every minor service or transaction. When challenged they would not provide a previous statement or come to party on their own discrepancy. Latitude charged interest on the account of zero debt, citing it was for past transgre...ssions and fees. After an argument I agreed to pay the $63.00 payout so we could cancel the card. They then stated it was extra dollar and one cent to pay out. After another fruitless argument I paid it and cancelled the card. Here are the regular fees; BPAY handling fee - 95 cents. Online Payment handling fee - 95 cents. Paper statement fee - $2.50. Account service fee $4.95. They will also charge interest on a previous transaction even though you have paid more. DO NOT USE. Get a big bank credit card if you need one.
Dont ever get credit from latitude
Awful, deceptive experience in dealing with company. Recently found out im paying over 20% interest on a loan, that i was led to believe was 13.99%. Stay very clear of these rip off company!!
They destroyed my life
I came to a phone call agreement to pay out right with not actions or listing against my credit file find out a year later when trying to purchase a phone because I dropped mine they had defaulted my credit file can't get approved for anything avoid at all costs easier to jump off a bridge... A big one!
Interest Free RIP OFF
I signed up to Interest Free with Apple - which I now know is managed (unfairly and with no transparency) by Latitude Finance.
I thought my monthly payments were set up to pay the amount over the interest free period.
However - low and behold, this was not the case. The monthly payment was only a small %.
I wasn't watching the account (my bad I see now but at the time I had no idea who latitude was, I just talked with Apple who arranged everything).
They had sent paper statements which may have alterted me to an issue once the "interest free period ended" only I moved 6 months in to the agreement and did not get any of the paper statements.
So after the interest free period I didn't know I was paying crazy interest charges.
Terrible customer communication
Terrible experience! I was passed around to 3 separate representatives with conflicting information. "[name removed]" was the worst, literally giving me one word answers to my questions! So unprofessional! Very rude. How do you expect someone to enter in to a financial agreement with a company who doesn't explain the terms and conditions before hand?! Absolutely ridiculous. I asked to be passed to the complaints department and the woman was even worse! So patronising and pushy. Worse than "[name removed]". I told her I just wanted to make a com...plaint and not proceed with the loan and she repeatedly asked me for more personal information. She should not be allowed to handle customer complaints or even work for the company with that attitude. Avoid this company.
