Worst company to deal with period
Paid off my outstanding balance, payment reflected on my statement. When I asked for a closure letter I was told I must wait 3-5 days even though the payment had cleared on my end the day before and it was reflected on my statement I was still told I had to wait, eventually got a supervisor on the phone who was as useless as his staff member, asked for references to be told they don't supply them. He was informed that this abysmal service will be referred to the Ombudsman - Avoid this institution like the plague.
Never deal with this company. They are so rude and unfair. They will rip you off.
Our experience with this company was the worst ever. They rip people off. They lie to you and they so rude. They made a mistake from their end, they even admitted it over the phone. They gave us bad credit rating even though we paid 4 times the minimum amount. We called them to sort their mistake out and they nearly ripped our heads off. I am so disappointed the way they treated us. I have never dealt with such an awful company and never been treated this badly ever before. Shame on you and your unhelpful and rude employees.
Impossible to pay off
Payed off interest free Go Mastercard, then got statement with a $0.95 acct bal, after ringing I explained to the customer service rep this is impossible to pay off as its recurring, he agreed and wiped the fee after informing him I would take this further as its totally unreasonable, there service is disgusting, just closed my acct don't trust this financial institution. BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS COMPANY
Horrific Treatment of Ex Customer
Had an account with them for Go Mastercard purchase of a fridge through Harvey Norman (I think). Paid the money out and thought account was closed but realised account had never been closed. Called to ask about non-closure and told it would be closed and a letter sent out. Received nothing. Called them and told they will email the letter. Nothing. Called again and this time they said they will text a code to access the document via their website. Nothing. These guys are the worst and some of them are extremely rude as well. Do not recommend.
Worst product ever - DO NOT GO THERE
They ping you for every cent. Avoid this company at all cost. They even charge you to PAY into your account $0.95. How rude. Their credit cards are the devil. You will never pay it off if you lived to be 100 because of all the fees and charges you are lucky if $5 comes off your balance with a $100 repayment. If you pay it out and close it they take a month or more or not at all to update your credit file to reflect that it’s been closed. You have to follow up with them multiple times to get your credit file updated. They are also extremely diff...icult to get in contact with. You wait on hold for half an hour or more and frequently get disconnected and have to waste another half an hour on hold. They will ruin your life for years. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!
I was in unemployed and missed a couple payments. I have since payed $2000 of my loan and they will not unfreeze my account. I'm my experience I would avoid choosing them.
Ping you for every cent they can
Don't be fooled by the 'no interest'. I have met my payments every time, never late, yet near the end of the repayments i started getting stung 25% interest with no explanation or warning. Not to mention the $99 anual fee and $9 servicing fee that they slip in there whenever they feel like it. But dont try to call them to work it out, because they put you on hold until the phone line drops..

I've applied for a Go master card and my application got declined however my salary is high ,I don't have liabilities and good credit score!!!
once I tried to follow up, I've spoken to 3 people asking about the reason and none of them give me an answer, repeating each other words, it was like I'm dealing with a recorded voice ,Horrible ,Horrible company, never recommended to anyone

Got a car loan from these "lenders". Biggest mistake ever. I should have read the existing reviews...
If you have a loan with them check your statements (if you can get them)
1. They state zero fees for direct debit, yet they've managed to charge me 50c for each repayment on top of the $10 monthly "admin fee" for my direct debit repayments!
2. A $10 admin fee also applies to extra repayments...and guess what ? for this $10 fee they will take 10 days to credit an additional repayment. IT DOES NOT...
Use every excuse to charge extra fees
If your bank debit doesn't work it's locked for 5 days, you can then either incur an additional fee to use another payment method, or wait 5 days and be slugged with a surprise $30 late fee. Also, they will make note of this on your credit file, and even if they've made an error such as their app not showing an amount owing, they will still slap your credit file, charge you a fee and refuse to reverse it.
Don't bother asking for a payment extension of even a couple days either. Their attitude is tough luck, we will charge you a fee. Unless you...apply for hardship, which they will use to slug your credit rating again. Customer service lacks compassion, empathy and respect, and if you call on the weekend their phone system will allow you to go through the full verification only to tell you they're closed and hang up. These people are vultures, I'll pour every bit of disposable income into this until it's paid off, then wash my hands of this ruthless company.
Tricky financial payment!
I have an "interest-free" purchase from Apple reference.
So basically, we still need to pay $5 every month, even you purchase Mac mini only for $1.4k. so 5x12/1400, it's 4.28% interest annual. it sounds good from here. But ..
After the first month, they will let you pay directly from your bank with no "Payment handling fee", and after that this "payment handling fee" will continuously add up into your credit every time you pay. It's 20% of monthly fee => add up to $6 a month => interest rate up to 5.15% .
The reason is "Payment handling fee" which mean you can pay directly from your bank, need to go through 3rd party such as BPAY(cheapest $0.95), Paypal...etc..
Would never even bother with Latitude again. Despite having a good credit history was not even able acquire finance for a bed purchase at Snooze with no explanation. Having a look at the other reviews, probably did me a favour. Thanks.
Continue to bill monthly payment fees long after I paid off the account
Latitude continues to bill me monthly payment fees long after I paid off the account. Made a complaint, fobbed off. Easiest problem in the world to fix, but I guess the computer says no
Just need 1 statement sent- 24-48 hours?
Looking for 1 proof of balance statement. Advised it would be 24-48 hours but I need it urgently. Disgusting customer service. No care in the world. I needed urgently and they knew this. But didn't even lift a finger to help expedite it. Yuck
Fradulent Marketing (No interest free period applies)
Please don't trust latitude ...I was ditched with hefty charges and interest was being charged on to me. GoMaster card was offered with an impression that purchases made using this card will have 6 Month of Interest free period. Luckily, I reviewed my statement and found out that 25% of interest is being charged on it since the purchase.
I called the call centre and it was told no this card does not have this offer. It was really annoying and made me to use all my savings to pay off Latitude bill otherwise they will keep on mounting the fees, interest and charges.
Please be very careful using these interest free period deals.
Negligence to Damages in Repossession of my Car

On the 14/01/2020 while no one was home my car was repossessed without no card left to say its been taken. I had to go to my neighbour's house for the camera footage and call the police to find out who stole my car. I was surprised to see it was missing as I had a flat tyre on Albany Hwy that RAC picked me up and towed me home with. So the car was working perfectly fine. just had no tyre.
We finally gather the money to get my car b...ack and on the drive back my friend was struggling to drive it. When we thankfully got home the car was jerking and would not reverse out the driveway no matter how badly we pushed he accelerator. It was clear that in the time of care that latitude had the vehicle, they had towed it incorrectly and damaged the gear box. When I confronted Latitude to address their wrong and fix the vehicle, they until this day (A Year And A Half Later) have done nothing but pure negligence to their wrong doing. For a year and a half my car has been on the driveway catching dust and cobwebs!! Toyota Azuras are such an amazing car! the space, the endurance, I had so much more time with the car before this negligent and irresponsible company came and left my car without any resolution except $2,400 when the damages the mechanic quoted was $4,400!!!!!!! and that quote was just to take out the transmission to see the damages! All I asked was my car and the damages to the stuff in the car to be fixed and till this day they are not wanting to resolve this responsibly.

I opted to put the name on the finance for a lancer for my at the time partner to help her out getting our kids around while I was at work. The process was done fairly easily and I got approved.
Almost 3 years on, I have paid almost half the agreed amount for the contract when I hit bit of a hurdle as many have with the lockdown and what not. I continued to pay until I was financially struggling so I requested to be put onto the hardship program which they did no problems. They told me that when the hardship was coming to an end that they wou...ld be in contact so they could provide me a new Bpay number as it'll be different and to give me they dates for payments to be submitted etc. I am now met with a letter stating I missed a payment that I knew nothing about and that the interest kept accumulating through the hardship and now I am in debt of 360 bucks to be paid immediately. When I called they said that my pay out figure is not sitting at 13,660. Nearly 2000 more than originally agreed on at the beginning of the contract. I questioned how the f#€@ does that work when I've been paying the car on time for around 3 years and the car alone was $9000. I got called a liar basically and that the car wasn't $9000. I was then told that the amount given was only for the next 7 days and that it'll increase from there. Find it funny that those hired to take the calls can barely understand english yet they are damn quick to understand any sentence about money. These guys are crooks and I will never touch them again and will be telling everyone to stay right away from them.

I’ve had an interest free card for many many years and loved it. Without warning monthly fee has gone up to $8.95 from about $5. To pay Bpay it’s $0.95 fee per transaction.
Feel so ripped off all of a sudden. Won’t be using them again after this. Called up about it and waited a long time and then they hung up on me after they said I’d hear back from someone. Been nearly two months and never heard back. Very disappointed
It was the worse experience I had with a loan company
I used Lattitude to purchase Apple products.
First thing is that the apple exchange and shipment right is not the same as it is with debit card purchases (they didn't mention it on their website!).
secondly, I purchased an Ipad pro from the store and return it two days later because it was faulty and it was out of stock for replacement, after 47 days still the money is not refunded in my credit, I called the apple store several times and visit them, I called latitude several times!! I was charged a late payment penalty for a good that I return...
Penalty for paying loan earlier
Decided to pay car loan earlier and rang latitude to ask if we can request earlier termination fee be waived or sort something to get a the fee to a reasonable amount..all i got is out right NO. Manager is not very helpful, NO Customer skills, like talking to a brick wall and very unprofessional.
Why do customers have to be penalized if loan is paid off earlier when you have income derive from monthly interest..NEVER or DO NOT apply for Loan with this company
this has been just an awful experience from the start. Just absolutely terrible, unintuitive systems.
It began with me trying to get approved online; they wouldn't accept my valid ID even though it was exactly as requested in their requirements, and my application was conditionally approved but had to be completed instore. I didn't love going in without the certainty but no big deal, had to make the purchase in store anyway. The process instore ended up taking an entire hour despite the fact that there was only ONE step left remaining. I don't...blame the call centre staff we rang for assistance, it was more that their systems decided not to recognise anything we'd done up to that point, nor did it seem very integrated with JB Hi Fi's retail systems. Just now I tried to set up what should've been something very simple; an online profile to track statements and make payments. Basic functions, one would think. Each time I tried to save changes on a page, it would error out. Tried to set up BPAY for repayments, didn't even get to the page to nominate where the money would come FROM, and I couldn't progress as the website tried to tell me I couldn't pay from a credit card. I don't even OWN a credit card, aside from the one they sent me which hasn't even been activated. Tried a different route via the app. It wouldn't recognise the email and password logins I set up 10mins ago. Clicked to reset password, never got the email. Honestly, who designed these systems? I'm so disappointed JB switched to these guys, back when they used HSBC as their finance option I did not have one single issue in the entire time I was paying off my purchase.

I had a Go Mastercard I used to use for large ticket items with Harvey Norman taking advantage of interest free. Used to be $5 a month account keeping fee they charged. Now it's $8.95 per month as of July 2021. If you are buying a $3000 appliance for example and doing it on 60 months so called interest free you end up paying $537 total in monthly account keeping fee. So the $3000 appliance is really costing you $3537.
Disgusting service when trying to close an account that was paid out 12 months ago.
I am appalled at how I have been treated for being a good customer.
Recently found out they have been charging me fees on a loan that was payed out in March 2020.
Only this month June 2021 did I receive an email saying my statement was ready & found out about these fees they have hit me with.
Paid the money required to close account on 23/6/2021. Was told it would be closed 24/6/2021 & I would receive an email.
This never happened & I called 3 times on 24/6/2021 chasing up this email.
I was even told by one telephone consultant to SHUT UP w...
